      Their site leads you to believe their online training gets you a concealed carry permit. It is basic firearm safety and how to handle and clean a firearm. You pay $88.90 for a ten question test for a certificate that has nothing to do with obtaining a concealed carry permit. Then you pay $14 for a certificate that you cannot use for anything. They will only refund the $14 for the certificate. The site is very misleading.

      On 1/9/2025 I called Concealed Coalition regarding a question on a discount code I had. The discount code did not apply to me however, the representative offered me a discount that the class would cost $63.99 instead of the usual $80. I went forward with scheduling and she took my payment over the phone immediately and then asked for my credentials. Before hanging up the representative asked if I had any questions and I asked about their cancelation policy and she stated that I could cancel by Saturday night 1/11/2025. That Thursday night 1/9/2025 I decided to cancel my class so I called and my class was canceled. I asked for a refund and the representative stated that sales are final and I could not have a refund. I explained to her that I was never made aware of these terms nor did I sign or agree to them and they were not provided to me via email or on my emailed receipt. She told me someone would call me and hung up. I did not hear back so I called again and spoke to ***** who was unhelpful and passed me to ******* who said she would pass my refund request to her supervisor. On 1/13/2025 I received an email that they would not be refunding my $63.99 but offered me a year to reschedule or a restaurant gift card for $100. My request is to receive my full refund back into the card they took it from since I was never made aware of any terms of service nor did I agree to them.

      I called the company with the number given to me by Scheels to schedule my appointment and scheduled completely online. I was never made aware of terms and conditions or told I could read them on the website. They were not sent to me via email either. I was made aware of their no refund policy after asking for a refund 3 times. Concealed coalition lacks transparency by far.

      I signed up, on 9/29/2024, for a class to be held on 10/25/2024. The fee for the class was $39.99. This month, I have reviewed my bills and payments for the previous year. I came across a recurring charge of $16.95 monthly. I called the Concealed Coalition and asked what the monthly charge was for. I was told that it was for membership. I told them that I did not request membership and that I have received nothing, such as a membership card, indicating what the benefits of membership may be. I asked for paperwork showing that I had requested membership and was told that there was none as it was all done on-line. I have been charged over $60 in membership fees and received absolutely nothing. I would like to have my money refunded.

      I signed up for a class on 11/10/2024. The class is scheduled for 12/14/2024. The single class was $49.99. I was charged $***** on 11/12/2024 and again today on 12/13/2024. On 11/12/24 I reached out to concealed coalition to find out why I was charged. ***** from concealed coalition advised me that they could not give me any information unless I called them. I was unable to call them due to my work schedule and I explained that to *****. Today, once I saw the additional charge again in the amount of ***** I reached out to ***** again. ***** again explained I would have to call. I told ***** I was not going to call because I was on the phone with my bank disputing the transaction. I told ***** she was inconveniencing me and she needed to call me. ***** said she is not allowed to call customers. Although this company appears legitimate I believe they are fraudulently charging customers for services that are unwanted and unauthorized. I have reported all three transactions to my bank. Im now losing my debit card for 7-10 business days during the holiday season which is a huge inconvenience.

      I paid money for an online service and after I paid the fee they tried to make me go to an in person class! I called them twice about it and both times got told the supervisor is in a meeting and they refused to refund me! This company is a scam and falsely advertises the services they provide!

      Dear Mr. ********** our website states that the state of Wisconsin requires classroom training. We offer additional online supplemental instructions with classroom instruction. The online course and test that you took was a Qualification test. The website states once you pass the test, the next step is to schedule your in-person training with live fire. You did not pay for the online video, but instead for the class itself. You have a year from the date of purchase to call in and get scheduled for the class you paid for.       I signed up, paid, and took the training class on 11/24/25. During the class, there was an offer to sign up for "Concealed Coalition University " additional trainings, legal protections, and other benefits. I DID NOT sign up, nor did I turn in the form to do so. Today, my credit card used to sign up for the original class was charged $18.30 for the optional courses offered during the class. This is a fraudulent charge on my credit card by these folks.

      I signed up for an online course for concealed carry through this website that disclosed the service was $109 and a comprehensive deal.I was also under the impression this would be a webinar-style course but that information was not disclosed.I proceed to review the information. It took me to a page with a short video and then I had to answer a few multiple-choice questions. The website then took me to a page where I would need to pay for a course. (Still thinking there was an actual course at this point)I go through the payment process and proceeding to the next page, and I am automatically charged. There was no review charges option. There was no Click here to submit payment ********* I am reviewing my receipt, I see that additional courses were going to be needed that were not disclosed. It was not comprehensive by any means. I did not pay for a course. There was no teacher. I also see additional charges added for a concealed carry permit for ******* and *******. I would not need this but this is further proof of this all being a scam. A money racket. In January, there will be no need for permits in other states. Why would they still be charging people for additional states? To get every single dollar they can possibly get.$133 dollars is being charged to people for a short video and a few multiple-choice questions. They dont even send you a printed concealed carry permit.Below is the transaction information requested. I requested a refund immediately after the accidental purchase and was denied a refund via email as well as when I called (per email instructions). I have the email saved if you need it. I have also recorded the phone call in which I was denied a refund because it is very important to share my experience with the masses asap. The website states, Step 1: Complete your instructional requirements by watching our short instructional video for free.Step 2: Pass our ********************************************************************************************************** person training with live fire training. Step 3: After you complete the qualification test, we will outline the next steps necessary to secure your concealed carry permit. As you can see step 1 lets you know that you are not paying for the video. step 2 the website makes it clear that you will need to schedule your in-person class with live fire training. Additionally, before you check out there is an option to not purchase that ******* and ******* non-resident certificates that customers can choose to unselect.       None of the information provided in response from this company was correct. No refund policy or any information of the sort was provided as I proceeded through the process of submitting payment, for which I thought was a real online course or webinar. I was scammed and presented with a short video within the checkout process. I proceeded through the process looking for additional details. There was no "click here to submit payment", or "proceed" icons. I was charged before I could even verify what it was I was paying for.  After submitting payment, their webpage proceeded to elicit me to select a course for in person firearm training.

       

      I DID NOT select a in-person training, and I will NOT be attending any in person training. I emailed immediately to request a refund. The email response from the company was that I needed to call in. I called in for a refund and was denied.  Tricking customers into thinking they are taking a real course, while just providing a measly video and a downloadable concealed carry permit is frightening for something so serious.  I did not go to this webiste to pay that much money for a few minute video. I DID NOT elect to proceed and sign up for an in person weapon handling course. I should absolutely be refunded, and I will fight this to end.

       

      Their website, their process and responses show that that company is set up to take advantage of people like me. Bottom line, I did not get the training I paid for through their company, neither did I elect to sign up to attend an in-person hands on training course in my area. I did not receive the services rendered; therefore, I am eligible to be refunded. 

      I strongly suggest the BBB go to their website and go through this process so that you can see exactly what is happening here. It is very clear. And if this company wants to say they provided an actual course, it should be noted the second half of this "training" was to sign up for a secondary course. I did not sign up for anything else because I was working to get an immediate refund.

      I completed an online course that less than 5 minutes for a Firearms Safety Certificate which is required to obtain a concealed weapons permit. Within minutes I discovered that in my state of ******* a permit to carry a concealed weapon is no longer required. Open carry and concealed carry are legal. They did not make available or disclose this information to the consumer before consenting to the transaction and charging a ridiculous fee thus deceiving all who those who didn't have this information. I immediately requested a refund. I called and talked to customer service who refused to grant a refund. I emailed the company and was still turned down. They kept telling me to call customer service. They have all the info they needed to transact a refund and still haven't. Very disgusted.

      I am rejecting this response because:  It does not matter what Alabama offers,  the point is I don't need the paperwork and can't use it. If they had been upfront regarding states that don't require this certificate (to carry concealed weapon) I wouldn't have proceeded.  Once again within minutes of discovering this I stopped everything. I got a computer generated email stating to contact their customer service number.  All they offered is to have me return the printed certificate for a $15.00.  It is outrageous to charge a price of $79.00 for a printed piece of paper I can't use.  They are hiding their business at **********************************************************************  They are in a building unmarked with no public access.  Now why do you think their doing that?  Because they don't want people who are disgruntled and unhappy confronting them!!  I pulled their business license and the owners name, number and address.  I would advise the owner to proceed to refund my money.  If I continue to pursue this the Department of Business and Industry, Office of Nevada Consumer Affairs will be notified.  I'll use every avenue I can until I get my refund.  I think it would be interesting to publish ***** address and phone number ************** indicating he is the owner of Concealed Coalition and to feel free to contact him.  All I'm asking is for a refund.  Nothing else.  The number of complaints at the BBB of speaks for itself. Imagine all the complainant's who would love to talk to him who were not happy with his business ripping them off.

      These clowns have emailed me and issued a full refund, waiting for it to show on my credit card.  You have to fight dirty when you're dealing with an organization of this size.  I threatened this owner with exposure of his address and phone.  I told him I would fly down to ********* and confront them personally.  With repeated calls to his private number which I obtained from ******************** I called him at all hours with an unidentified number.  I threatened to expose him to  Nevada Consumer Affairs.  Told him his whole business model is suspect, and I would let NCS know.  The fact the I couldn't get beyond their **************** was suspect.  Emailing was pointless.  Had no other choice to force a meeting with the owner.  I told them I would put flyers out in the parking lot and pay for a billboard in the business mall.  Putting in a ******** review would accomplish nothing.  So we'll see if the credit comes through.

      On Oct 18, 2024, I submitted payment. After accepting my payment, I clicked through the screens and learned the only place to get training was over an hour away from home. I am on total disability with SSDI and due to medical conditions, I can't travel that far. The screen showing the location of training was long after they charged my **. Called and explained situation, said they would evaluate and reply. Rec'd email that no refund would be provided. Spoke with them again on 10/22 and 10/23, no reply. They are misleading and deceptive with the way they present their product and if I'd known before paying that I could not access their training site, I'd have exited the site. All I want is a refund of the ** charge.
