I requested for a copy of this company license to collect here in Tx, a copy of the chain of command and the purchase agreement, in return the asked me to send me the correct acct number. Well, if you are reporting accurately on the credit reports then why are you asking me for the information that you should have. Don't do business with these people they are horrible.

I’m hoping this review will deter people from doing business with them. I have never been harassed and talked down to so bad in my life. They take advantage of their customers, they are rude, and good luck filing a complaint because the supervisors are as bad as the representatives. Please avoid this company at all costs. If possible give another company your business and save yourself the frustration.

Bought a vehicle in 2020. Within 6 months the transmission went out. We called and emailed and chatted online about doing a voluntary surrender/repossession since I was not about to pay $10K to get the car fixed. I have emails from CPS acknowledging doing the repo and here we are 4 years later, the dealership is suing me for storage fees because CPS never came to collect the vehicle. Blown away at this company's business practices. My wages are going to be garnished. Help!

I had gotten a vehicle and was 2 and a 1/2 to 3 months behind. I was trying to get caught up. I called the service company and explain them that I've lost my job. And I will get caught up as soon as possible. They made a payment arrangement of me paying the car payments and give them a extra $100 if I can because I've lost my job. And I have gotten my social security back. And I literally made my payments on time. They illegally repelled my car and will not give me all of my things out of my car and they told me they cannot find my car so I need to get this straightened out. I had a company helping me with the back payment. I was waiting on the results. And I told them that and they said they will wait. The company came back and gave me a $600. Check for my back payment. And they literally told me. I need $1500 to get my car back. And I have to do the store feet as well. I am dissatisfied in all of this.I lost my job because of all of thisI had gotten a vehicle and was 2 and a 1/2 to 3 months behind. I was trying to get caught up. I Paid the loan off in full and in the process of paying the final payment they said they were behind in Processing my payment so they reported that I missed 2 payments and my credit score went down 56 points and when I called them the lady in reporting said we can't remove the late payments from my credit report. I would not recommend this company and will Never use them again.

My interest rate is 26%, I paid all of my payments on time and in full for the last 3 years. Last month I scheduled my payment on time, the bank refund the money. I called to pay, I was charged for the car note, the online fee and the for the payment not going through. Now I’m being charged an additional fee for the payment not being on time. I talked to the representative and explained that I got everything straightened out last month and he acknowledged that I paid the fee for the funds being refunded but now I also owe a late fee.

If I could leave this company with no stars I would. My son and I contracted with CPS for a car note. We have paid the payment on time for the year we had the note. My son got another note for this vehicle and are just waiting for final payoff. They have called my phone every day this week saying it is late even though it is still within the grace period. It’s harassment not business. I will never do business with them again.

Apparently the standard for this company is to make paying the entire and final amount as difficult and costly as possible.
Difficult and in some cases impossible to reach an English speaking representative.
The clear company policy is to give incorrect pay-off information and then once payment it made wait a month to spring up with extra charges because the actual pay-off is “late”.
Even after double and triple checking, they will misdirect you so that they can capture fraudulently that extra 300-600 dollars in fees and interest.

Let me tell you about my experience with CPS. It’s been several years and my situation is MUCH better than it was at the time. I got four-year loan from CPS for a used car. The interest rate was high, but I understood with a Lower credit rating that’s how things are. My last payment was about $380. They added some late fees or something which honestly probably were legitimate to close the loan. The total came about 650 bucks. I sent them a cashiers check for the exact amount and mailed it to them. On their website, they stated that when you make the last payment, you’ll have to wait 45 to 90 days to receive your title. I went in to work overtime day and came out and my vehicle was gone! I called The police thinking it was stolen and they said that it was repossessed. Between the fees and the tow company had it was about $1700! I have no idea how they came to this number but they said I had 24 hours to pay it otherwise it would be sold at auction. I couldn’t come up with the money in time and my Vehicle was gone. I went to the bank and they said that the cashiers check was never cashed. I spoke to an attorney thinking I had some sort of case or claim. He said that, unless I sent it through certified mail to prove that it had went there there was nothing they could really prove. Fast-forward to about a month or so later when I already had another vehicle. I get an envelope wrinkled up with what do you know, My cashiers check still in. It has a CPS stamp saying “delivered to wrong address”. This was the same address I had sent every payment since I got the vehicle. In retrospect, I should’ve sued, but I didn’t. They Intentionally withheld cashing the last check or they lost The envelope and then acted like it wasn’t their fault. The fact that they never gave me a call to say I was late or I missed my last payment makes me think. I know people have to have a car, but if you can do anything to avoid using CPS do it.

The employees even the ones in customer service except for one person in this entire business are some of the most ignorant people I have ever dealt with I even had one of their customer service employees tell me that because I wasn't getting my way she wasn't going to let me talk to a supervisor I have all this stuff saved in my phone and my emails one of the worst companies ever if I didn't need this car I would totally just let it go
