I ordered a bed on 9/20/23 with a delivery date of 11/15/23 which I was comfortable with. I contacted the company on 11/18/23 and was told the item was still not in their warehouse. They gave me a new ESTIMATE of 12/15/23 which still was ok, because our guest who were to use the bed wouldn't arrive until 11/18/23. I wasn't happy, but it didn't impede my plans and I was being generous. Since I hadn't heard from the company by today 12/11/23 I figured I would check my order. And of course they gave me the same run around regarding a new estimated delivery date of 12/28-12/31 of 2023. With guests on their way in less than a week, I gave them a chance to make it right, but unfortunately they could not help and refused to help me. They almost seemed to want me to cancel after they asked several times if I wanted to cancel. When I asked about getting compensation for the late delivery and loss of time they offered in store credit. Which after looking, there was nothing I was interested in and was not sure I really wanted to deal with this company again.Valyou

Upon reviewing your order, it appears to be a pre-order item, and unfortunately, we've been facing continuous delays from the manufacturer. Despite our efforts to provide you with several options, we understand your frustration. However, a full refund with interest exceeds our current capabilities, and we can only refund the amount you initially paid. We regret that this has led to a cancellation, and you should have received confirmation by now. Please allow 5-7 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution.

I am absolutely thrilled to post this review as I just received my new couch and it's A MA ZING! I recently moved into a new apartment and had ordered a couch from another company who said it would be here in less than days. On day 10, I checked the app for a status and suddenly, it's backordered until mid-January 2024.
Clearly frustrated I went into panic mode on the search for a couch that is chic but that can also survive pets and kids. My sister helped me find this sectional last Friday (11/3) and it arrived today (11/8) - 5 days!!
The company has been so wonderful to work with but even more so the gentlemen who delivered and assembled it, Jerry, and Jerome, were exceptional! There was a discrepancy about the delivery method upon arrival and they quickly resolved the issue and were so polite and friendly. They set me up and provided peace of mind as to the process of returns in the event I would need to. I am beyond impressed with how pretty it is - it really brings the tiny space that I have all together. Thank you, Jerry, Jerome, and Valyou Furniture, for making my day!Valyou

1 starTotal scam. No delivery- refuses to return money. I ordered furniture in February 2022. I was told it would come April 9th and waited all day for the day for the furniture. No call no show. I contacted them to see what happened. They said to be patient as they were experiencing delays. What I fool I was. I had to keep reaching out to them. Months later the said the couch I ordered wasn’t available. I did a search and found this company had many complaints and lost trust. I asked for my money back and canceled the order. They said that once it is canceled, they will only work with the bank after that. I don’t know what they told the bank, but the bank credited me at first only to charge me back without explanation. Then I disputed the chargeback. I never received any of the usual forms requesting documentation from Citi as I usually have in all my years of banking so I actually didn’t notice the chargeback on my credit card until it reached what the bank says is beyond their responsibility. I’m quite upset at my bank, too as I provided so much documentation as per their request when I reopened the case.
Valyou furniture is saying they couldn’t possibly ever return my money even though they acknowledge they never gave me any furniture and have my money.
Their excuse? They no longer use the same credit processor.
What does that mean? I’m not sure. We didn’t use *****. We paid with either ***** ***, which they do still use. We paid with Mastercard which they still take.
Plus, they can certainly still take.
Also, why are they still and originally disputing the charge with the bank when they said multiple times that they can’t credit back unless they get it squared away with the bank disputes department.
I have taken these steps.
I have do acknowledgment of non-delivery.
I think their strategy was to delay delivery as long as possible to make the dispute process more difficult, perhaps.Review fromEmily N

1 starOrdered a sectional September 2022 and was told it would arrive by Thanksgiving. Emailed every 6 weeks asking for update and was told it was still in production. September 2023 email back to me said same thing but was also told I could cancel. So I did. They verified the order was cancelled but said I would not be getting a refund. Have tried multiple forms of correspondence and have not had a reply. Since it has been over a year (actually credit card companies can only help in a dispute within 60 days), my cc company won’t help. Is this really how this company does business?! We have a terrible experience with this company. We ordered a couch with two sectionals, and after about 2 weeks we noticed the couch lost all of its fluff. Its down feathers even fell out of the couch. After trying to tell the company about this issue a rude phone operator told us to “fluff the sofa” and refused to help us return the couch despite the warranty. When we tried to elevate the situation, we noticed the company gave us a phony number to call. We are now stuck with a flat couch whose wooden frame pokes us as we sit. Very disappointing for the amount of money we spent.Valyou

BUYER BEWARE. Absolutely the worse customer service I've ever experienced. If I could give zero stars, I would. I purchased a Feathers Sectional from them. I was wary about ordering online, but decided to give it a go because they have a 14 day return policy and the couches look like dupes of more expensive pieces. First off, order was delayed a few weeks. Not a huge deal, and it expected this since many reviews online report delayed shipping. So the couch comes and we had to cut the box and packaging apart to get it open. It looks like the photos and everything. But it's a little low and not super supportive. We have elderly grandparents that would never have been able to get up off this thing. Plus, the two pieces don't hook together the way that most sectionals do so they are constantly moving apart from each other. So I figured no big deal, it just isn't going to work for us. So I requested a return. Lo and behold, they have some sort of fine print in their policy that says they don't accept returns unless they are in their original packaging including all the wraps on the inside and everything. I'm like how the hell could I have tried the couch without opening it? We literally had to cut everything apart during unboxing and there would have been no way to salvage the box and certainly not the wraps inside. It's a sneaky way of getting out of accepting returns and it's just bad business for an online furniture company quite frankly. There was no offer to take it back with a restocking fee, exchange, store credit, NOTHING. Just a "sorry I can't help you with that!" Probably the worst experience I've ever had with a customer service rep.Valyou

1 starNo delivery of item after one year of waiting. Customer service cannot issue refunds, store credit, a reorder or provide any advice other than to wait. My item has been listed as in stock and ships within 2-5 days for the last year but they still have not shipped it. I recently purchased a stunning loft couch from Volyou Furniture, and I am absolutely in love with it! The design is modern and sleek, yet comfortable and inviting.
