    I bought a feather sofa and ottoman from Valyou, it was roughly $1900 they advertised it to be pet friendly, I have a cat at home and within a day I noticed a scratch made by the cat. When I contacted customer service, the case was handled by Jenna, i was informed that I have to retain the original packaging, the driver took the packaging, hence Valyou refused a return or exchange, now I am left hanging with a product that is sub par and was sold using false advertising.

    Canceled my sofa and never got reimbursed my money like they promised. I had to dispute it with my bank. They seem to be a fraudulent company.

    They have done the same thing reported here.... I now am trying to prove to Paypal that I DO NOT OWE ANY MONEY FOR A COUCH THAT WAS NEVER DELIVERED.
    I hope something happens to this company soon, so that this situation doesn't happen to someone else.

    I’ve tried posting this review on the company’s website but it has never shown up after three attempts.
    The couch is extremely low to the ground and not very comfortable. The images you see of the product make it seem a lot more soft and comfortable than it is. It looks nice and modern which is what I wanted but not at the expense of comfort. Another issue I had was that I washed all of the covers per the manufacturer instructions and two of the covers now have a strange bubble texture which don’t match the other covers. I’ve tried to attach images but after two attempts at posting this review, my review is still not available so I am trying without the image. I reached out to ValYou customer service and according to them this does not fall within the warranty coverage and even if it was the warranty is out of date (I’ve had the couch for less than 90 days when I reached out). My only option was to spend $350.00+ for new covers (and this are the basic one, it cost a lot more for other fabric). I also had to buy enough for the whole couch as they don’t sell them individually. I highly recommend avoiding this couch and company. As much as I love the accessibility and options of buying things online, I think when it come to furniture, being able to see it in person and feel it, it makes the most sense to shop in store.
    I also had shipping delays like many others, but nothing compared to other’s experience. I waited a few extra weeks, if that. They did try to delay again on the date of delivery saying their trucks were unavailable for DOT inspections. I asked them to cancel my order due to knowing the hardship many people already experienced and the next communication I had was they were going to deliver it as scheduled, and they did.

    We placed an order with Valyou on Feb 16, 2022. There was an initial delay that was expected, and ultimately, a shipment to us of part of the couch we ordered, with a section of the sectional missing. It’s now been well over 1 year and we still do not have the complete couch, despite having paid over 2,600 (including Mulberry protection/shipping/taxes). We continue to have a partial couch in our home and have been told numerous times over the past year that the missing grey Feathers Armless piece for our Feathers Sectional will be on the next shipment. A year into this process, I have little confidence that will ever happen. So now we have a couch that is incomplete and too small for the room it is in, and their only solution outside of waiting longer is this: "We can only cancel the part of the couch that is not delivered yet and our return policy is only within 24 days from the time of delivery." So I can either keep a tiny couch and get some money back, or wait forever as we go on 15 months since purchase and hope maybe one day they deliver the product as promised. Honestly, I just do not want to have a room with a small partial couch in it anymore and have requested they simply take it back and refund me if they cannot ship the rest of the couch I ordered. They have refused to help or provide a firm delivery date - they just continue to say a few more weeks every now and then. I would never buy from these folks and warn you to avoid them. Their website currently says our couch is fully in stock - so be careful - they are not going to tell you the truth, but they will happily keep your money and string you along. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

    This is a fraudulent company. I ordered a bed in October. By April it had still not arrived. They asked if I wanted to cancel my order and I said yes. They then told me (as it appears they have told many other people) the fastest way to get my money back would be to file a dispute with my credit card. I did so. They then provided information to my credit card company DENYING my dispute. I have been back and forth with them since then and see a low likelihood I will ever get my money back. A SCAM.

    I ordered a sectional sofa for $3,000 in September 2022. I have sent emails asking for updates and they respond saying another "two weeks" I have patiently waited! I tried calling several times, got no answer or call backs. I have given up and asked for a refund January 2023 and they will not respond and have kept my money. I am not sure why the BBB is allowing them to remain a business they are taking lots of peoples hard earned money. It is not right nor fair. They should communicate on their website that they are OUT OF STOCK. Not sure why they call themselves Valyou because they do not value you.

    Got a couch for around 3k including taxes and fees and the seams ripped after 5 months of use. According to valyou this is not covered by warranty since this is a cosmetic issue (not poor quality) . When I complained about it, they told me to find YouTube home fix videos to stitch the cover together. Seems to be a scam when they’re advertising a 1 year warranty on quality and defects. I don’t understand how tearing at the seams isn’t considered a defect.

    They scammed me from $1600. Ordered, waited 3 months past estimated delivery time. They told my that if I needed furniture, I should cancel. After another month I finally gave up and cancelled. Then told me they don't work with my bank anymore...Capitol one.. and I need to dispute the charges, which I did. It was then I realized I was never getting my money back. I sincerely hope these scumbags get proper payback

    Ordered the feathers sectional on Black Friday 2022. It is now April 2023 and I have just gotten a letter from my bank approving the refund for the sofa because Valyou wouldn’t issue a refund so we had to dispute it with the bank. I do not recommend this company. I waited months for the sofa to ship and every time I would email them and ask for an update they would say “check back in a week or two” and so then I’d check back later and I’d get the same answer. I finally got fed up waiting and asked to cancel the sofa. They said they don’t work with my bank and can’t issue a refund and we’d have to dispute it. It took several more months to actually get my money back. I do think the actual company is legit and that if you wait long enough you probably will get the product you ordered but I don’t think as a company they have the capacity to keep up with demand and they are just taking peoples money as “preorders” instead of just marking the product as sold out and waiting to reopen sales when they’ve caught up on current orders. They need to be upfront if a couch is going to take 6 or more months to be shipped and delivered.
