  Bizsapedia has released my personal information/home address. Because of this, someone was able to search my name and locate my house. This is a violation of my privacy and puts me in immediate danger. I need this company to remove my information from their website. My full name and home address should not be public on this website!!

  If you copy and paste the link below, it will take you to the screen shot I have provided about. As you can see, the website suggestion clearly shows my private information giving my full name and personal address. I clicked on the link and it does seem the website took my personal information down on the page itself, however, my personal information still appears in the initial search. Please help me get this issue resolved as soon as possible as someone has already found me and violated my privacy in my home after finding my personal information online from this website.   I am writing this complaint as Bizapedia is currently displaying my personal small business information on their website without my consent. I have attempted to contact Bizapedias support email multiple times asking them to remove my personal small business information from their website but so far these requests have been completely ignored. I own a small handy crafts business that I operate from my own home and Bizapedia is currently displaying my sensitive personal information on their website without any consideration for how that could put me and my family in danger. I would like Bizapedia to remove my address and other personal information from their listing as soon as possible, as this puts me and my family at serious risk of harassment.

  We have reviewed your request that Bizapedia remove certain information from its website, and have consulted with Bizapedia's legal counsel regarding the nature of your demands.

  As you may be aware, the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees the right to publish publicly available government records. See *** ****** ***** ************, 420 U.S. 469 (****). As the Supreme Court has noted, "[t]here is no liability when the defendant merely gives further publicity to information about the plaintiff which is already public. Thus, there is no liability for giving publicity to facts about the plaintiff's life which are matters of public record." Since the Supreme Court decided *** Broad *****, federal and state courts throughout the country have reinforced this principle. As an example, in ****************** Cty., 280 F.3d ****, **** (7th Cir. ****), the court found, "[t]he ************* held in *** that the First Amendment creates a privilege to publish matters contained in public records even if publication would offend the sensibilities of a reasonable person."

  Bizapedia.com cannot claim that they are using records which are publicly available, as the ***** Secretary of State has updated the address to our business address. However, Bizapedia is still displaying our personal address. Although it is hidden from the general public, it remains visible to their paid customers. If they are genuinely acting in good faith, they should use the business address that the ***** Secretary of State has on file, rather than personal addresses.
