    Have emailed and called MULTIPLE times over the course of two months to remove my personal information from their website. They aren't even charging for access, it's just right there for any search engine to see and bots and spammers to collect and use. The 'unlock phone number' button is broken in such a way that you can just highlight the field and see the phone number, which means bots can collect my phone number automatically and harass me with spam calls. I have gone through the automated opt-out procedure, so it isn't even possible to purchase my information anymore anyways. They do not benefit AT ALL from keeping my information cached on their fly-by-night website, but in my state it is actually a crime (A felony, no less) to refuse to remove personal information from the internet when asked. While I have no desire to go through the trouble of filing charges if I can get in touch with someone who ACTUALLY resolves this, I will if I can't and will be pursuing civil penalties as well to cover the legal fees. Every single person I've talked to over the phone, when I can get someone to answer at all and not just have the robot hang up on me, is rude and tells me it's not their job to handle customer complaints, and that all emails are responded to in ***** days. I'd love to know what their job IS, because the autoresponder email specifically says that phone number is for the same department as the email address, and my oldest sent email is from 2 months ago, which is well over ************************************************ the building, and they can't transfer me to anyone in charge of the website. I find that fishy, at best. I will be recording my next call with them as evidence, if such is needed in the process of this complaint or potential future legal proceedings if they continue to refuse to respond to my very reasonable requests to remove my information from their site.

    I am rejecting this response because: It was a question, not an answer.

    I have been sending emails to [email protected], though someone did finally respond to me after filing this claim (*******). I assume you guys found at least one the emails I'd sent. Not sure why they weren't found before, considering the ***** day response time the people on the phone had told me about had long since past. The email that did finally get a response, however, was not one that the robot had responded to. Was the robot broken and just dropping my messages? ******* says the issue can't be fixed entirely on your end, as the page in question is part of an external database you guys had integrated earlier this year. I don't feel entirely comfortable closing this complaint until the issue is fixed, as when I filed this complaint I was under the assumption you were under complete control of the information on your own website, but at least it seems I got the attention of a human finally so hopefully it will be fixed sooner rather than later. Feel free to respond once you're able to confirm my information has been removed from the page mentioned in the emails.

    As many others comments... I have been a victim of this criminal company who refuses to remove my personal information. I've asked over the course of several months with proof such as screenshots, dates, email receipts etc and their website continues to show all my personal information. I'm in the process of looking for a reputable attorney to *** the h*** out of this company seeing how i am not the only victim. These types of company are criminal and should be held liable. Over the course of months and my information continues to show despite their fine print about allowing 20 business days.

    I have been trying to opt out my private information from their "name directory" for over 6 months having sent numerous emails all of which have been ignored. They seem to be intentionally ignoring all opt out emails regarding their "name directory". Here are a few of the many ticket numbers I have received that they have ignored well beyond the 20 business days: Ticket ID# ********, Ticket ID# ********, Ticket ID# ********.

    I have asked ******* to remove my information via email. I followed up via phone and was told it would take a month. I believe this is in direct violation of the law. ************** was impossibly rude and told me they could not do anything. It was indicated that they did not care if the Company kept information on the site and violated the law. Please remove my listing.

    I chose an option for $ ***** for a three month membership to this company in order to have access to a criminal report for work purposes, email receipt sent hours later had a charge of $44.95. On the website, the $44.95 for an annual membership. I have attempted to email several times and call the number provided. Every time I hit the button to talk to someone they hang up on me. I did speak to an ********* on the technical support end, who told me she could not help me and that I should of thought about purchasing before hitting the confirm button. She refused to transfer me to any supervisor or anyone who could help- her last word to me on the phone was the *****, which she called me.

    This is one of those online companies that searches the internet for anything they can find about you, then they aggregate it into a product they can sell. I've emailed them twice over 3-4 months requesting removal through their "opt out" link, but zero response. I didn't even receive an acknowledgment. I just tried calling and got some ridiculous response saying they don't take phone calls because they are "in the back"? This individual basically wanted to pick over my request? Rude and ignorant staff. A quick search online shows I'm not the only one, and this company is surely putting people in harms way. Please help keep consumers safe and shut this company down....

    Like many of the other complaints filed against Persopo.com, I did an online search of my name and found my information on Persopo.com. I requested that my information be deleted from the site, and I received an email that my Opt-out request request was completed. However, all my information, as well as that of my family's still remained on their "Name Directory." I have sent several detailed follow-up e-mails, with the exact URL where everything still appears and screenshots showing where my information still appears and google search results where my information appears, which lead back to the Name Directory. Finally, there is a broken "Request Removal" link on the Name Directory, which gives a false error message. Why won't you just delete my information? It is so important for privacy. You have a ton of false, outdated information all thrown together in a mess of a website with terrible customer service. Horrible business.

    I want my personal information kept private and off their website. I have requested to opt out of having my information on their website. It is way too much personal information for some website to put out there. I want this taken down immediately. I sent a opt out request on their website over two weeks ago. When you click opt out it says it takes ***** hours to process. They are unresponsive to any request I make. I have also paid for a company to get my personal information wiped off of sites like this. They cant get through to these people either. This is absolutely ridiculous for a company to just blast your information for everyone to see. This is all very personal information and should be kept private.

    For over a year I have sent multiple cease and desist, opt out requests to remove my personal information from the website and they have not and refuse for remove it after over 1 year of requests

    I never got a ticket number they only told me Google would not remove the listing I had attached to this complaint. You can see that this person never visited the business and the complaint had nothing to do with the business
