  Date of transaction: April 20, 2023.Amount paid for service $349 on a credit card for which payment was subsequently stopped.An EIN was to be provided for a newly created LLC.After entering all my personnel info in response to their prompts, a message said the application was not complete. At that point I became suspicious. I backed out of the site and contacted my credit card company to report what I believed was a fraudulent site and requested the credit card payment not be processed. I want all my personnel information collected by Govt Assist, LLC to be deleted and a conformation its removal.

  I tried to file to get an EIN number to help our community non profit 8 years and under team started Order Confirmation # F26F1191. We dont even have funds at this time and used the website ******************************* not knowing it was not an official government website. The website does deceive and make it seem like a legitimate government website. After requesting an EIN at 5:09am and having some of my volunteer parents help me review the next steps we realized this was not an official government site. This is when we started to research more and tried to start the refund process. I emailed requesting a refund at 6:49am. I tried calling the number but got no answer and left a voicemail (no returned call) at 6:51am not even two hours later. The company responded at 6:54am stating they are not able to provide me a refund. They have my SSN, address, phone number, and credit card information. All personal information that I dont feel confortable with Govt Assist, LLC having. I emailed again to see if they can reconsider and got no response. I would like for Govt Assist, LLC to delete all my personal information listed above and refund my $329 that I was charged. Any help to recover our cost and make this right for our organization and nonprofit would be greatly appreciated.

  Govt Assist LLC has been in operation for over 8 years and we have never had a security breach nor do we sell our customer information. Our payment gateway is a Level 2 PCI compliant and we value information security above all else.  All sensitive information is protected by database encryption and the connection is protected by SSL advanced encryption technology. All requests to have application information deleted are immediately deleted. 
  
  Our fee includes next steps for your Non Profit  such as links to other companies that can assist with business banking, DBAs, state formations and more, saving our customers hundreds of dollars.
  
  Like many other document preparation websites, we provide a service for a fee and provide notices on our site. Prior to providing any payment information one must acknowledge our client agreement which states:

  Im usually very careful about sites I submit personal information to but I feel like I was deceived into believing I was applying for EIN on IRS website. I submitted very sensitive information including SSN and paid a ridiculous amount for a service that Ive come to understand is completely free. *** made several calls to this business that have gone unanswered, left voicemail that hasnt been returned. Ill really like Govt Assist, LLC to delete my information and refund my money.
