Dear ACI LLC Customer Service,
Dear ACI LLC Customer Service,
I am writing in response to a letter I received from your office regarding a debt of $120.52 associated with a ****** account. I must dispute this debt, as I believe it is the result of identity fraud.
Here are the details I want to clarify:
My name, address, email, and debit card information appear to have been used without my knowledge.
However, the phone number linked to this ****** account does not belong to me, and I have never opened or authorized this account.
At this time, I kindly request:
Verification of the debt, including details of the account and any supporting documentation.
A pause on all collection activities while this issue is being investigated.
Please note that I did not incur these charges and am actively taking steps to investigate this matter further. I would appreciate your cooperation in helping me clear up this fraudulent activity.
Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely, * * * ****** ***** **************************Business Response

I got this letter in the mail today 12/05/2024. Addressed to some weird user name. Not my name or my husbands. That the user name owes ****** INC, 120.00 dollars. We both do not use ******. My husband doesn’t have one. Mine hasn’t been able to be used since about 2017/2018. I called ****** there nothing I owe. Nothing under my name or maiden name with that user name. We never bought anything using ******. This is ridiculous. Clearly many people recently have been sent this. This is scam fraud behavior. I did contact ******. They said there is no such account. I owe nothing. I am not paying something that isn’t mine. I do not want them to contact me or my household. There is no reason to when we have no accounts with them.Business Response

This company has contacted me regarding an alleged debt that I do not owe. I believe this is a fraudulent claim, and their actions may violate both federal and California state laws regulating debt collection practices.
I have received communication from American Coradius International LLC alleging that I owe a debt, but they have not provided any verification or evidence to substantiate their claim. I dispute the validity of this debt and have formally requested that they cease all further communication with me regarding this matter.
They have not provided me with:
1. The original creditor’s name and address.
2. Proof of my liability for the alleged debt.
3. An accurate accounting of the amount claimed.
Only a vague letter in the mail claiming "******, Inc" and an account number that is not mine and also has too many digits to even be a ****** Credit account number.
Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and California's Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (RFDCPA), I am demanding that American Coradius International LLC immediately cease and desist all contact with me, including but not limited to phone calls, emails, and letters.
If this matter is not resolved, I am prepared to escalate my concerns to the California Department of Consumer Affairs, and other relevant authorities.Business Response
