    I renewed my accounts with *******************************. Knowledgeable and very friendly representative. So glad she was there when I went in. Very comfortable with BFCU. ****** is a wonderful person to deal with. Im very happy.

    I hold two credit card accounts with them and for years have made my payments through my back by sending electronic check from my bank. In October 22 and again in November 22, both payments made were credited to my wifes account in spite of the account number being on the check, top center and in a bold font. While we were discussing resolution, it happened again in December but was quickly corrected. In the process of getting the other corrections made, BFCU notified the credit bureaus of my supposed delinquency. So while the October and November payments were being adjusted to correct Bethpages mistake, my credit score plummeted causing cancellation of cards, and reduced credit limits on others. Bethpage then enacted a punitive ****% interest rate on my current balance and any future purchases. Here we are, March bills in hand with not adjustment to the interest rate , no adjustment to late fees, a damaged credit rating still and a refusal of BFCU to provide me with a letter a knowing their error so that I could try to correct things with my debtors and to put in my work file so that my employment does not become endangered. They made a mistake and acknowledged it. I just wanted all of the damage reversed , a letter for my creditors and my employer and everything would be done. They have pushed me to the point of seeking legal counsel and taking action, something I do not want to do.

    I opened a secure credit card a few years back to help build my credit. I recently paid off the balance on the card and request a refund to no avail. Spoke to a number of customer service reps for hours only to be transferred from 1 department to the next. Spoke to 2 separate supervisor/ managers said they will put in an escalation request, give me their direct line and said the funds will be deposited back to me by the end of day and will call me back once completed. I never heard back from neither for them. Needless to say, at this point I feel like this bank is scamming customers out of their hard earned money. This should be considered fraud!!! Needless to say I will be transferring my accounts to another bank thats does not steal their customers money.

    BFCU is a bank that truly cares.I recently had the pleasure of dealing with the team at BFCU **********, and I must say, their customer service is nothing short of amazing. From the moment I stepped into the bank, I was greeted with warm smiles and an eagerness to assist. When it came to discussing financial products, particularly opening a Certificate of Deposit (CD) and exploring Individual Retirement Account ***** options, their staff displayed great knowledge. They were able to answer every question I had, no matter how complex, with clarity and patience. What impressed me the most was their ability to break down complicated financial terms into simple, understandable language. This made my decision-making process so much easier and more informed.********, their efficiency is commendable. Every step, from filling out forms to understanding the terms, was handled swiftly and without any hassle. It's evident that they value their customers' time and strive to provide a seamless experience.

    I had a Car lease that was extended. My due date was July 2023 but Bethpage Federal Credit Union sent me a request at the end of June2023 asking for a payment for the Month of July leading to me to believe I had 1 more month on my lease. Even CCULA mentioned it was BCFU mistake and not to worry as long as the car was paid -off or returned before August 18th. After i called BFCU and talked to 4 different agents and they all agreed it was a mistake and did not charge any late fees for the lease BUT they did send a a NON-Payment to the Credit Bureau saying i was LATE. So basically ruin someone credit for their mistake. Be cageful doing business with BFCU.

    I applied for a home equity loan after I opened a bank account, after the run my credit after wasting my time and energy for almost a month than they denied the loan stating they do not provide loan if the loan is not for my primary home. The person you help with the application told me a complete different story and even if they to not give loan for vacation home, shouldnt that be the first thing to say to customers before running credit, and open a new account ext.
