    I wish I could give Summit a ZERO! We bought a gas wall unit SG0030SS in July 2020, from our local ****** store, bought extended warranty and I have never been able to cook one thing in it successfully. We had repair men here, that replaced a heating coil first time and said it was good. ****, still didn't work, had the second guy here a few months later and he said there was nothing wrong with it. It ***** the top and the bottom, but the middle isn't cooked. Just had the third guy here last week and he said there was something definitely wrong with it and was going to reach out to Summit directly and he hasn't gotten back to us either. So we paid over $2000.00 for unit and cannot use it. I wouldn't recommend them for anything, customer service is not at all helpful and don't spend the money for extended warranty, another waste of money.

    Terrible company. I had a cooktop that did not function and I have had an induction cooktop for 10+ years, I called Summit and told them the issue, and the man on the phone (I wished I got his name!) insisted that I didn't know what I was talking about. I had to come back the next day to use "their" induction cookware, which still didn't work! I called back and spoke to a ******* C, who was also very unhelpful - did not help me figure out who was the person who didn't help me the day before so I can make a complaint about him. I ended up returning the Summit induction cooktop and I am NEVER going to buy another thing from Summit again. The customer service is terrible, and the products are unreliable. It's a HUGE waste of money.

    Hi, I'm sorry about this and sorry about the experience you had. Our Induction cooktops are meant to be used with induction cookware due to the electromagnetic heating technology where heat is generated inside the induction cookware, ensuring a more efficient process with less energy waste, faster heating, and a safer cooking experience. If you used induction cookware and your unit still malfunctioned, assuming it was under the 1 yr manufacturer warranty, you could've called to schedule service or to potentially replace the unit if deemed unrepairable.

    Company does not repair dangerous and faulty products. Our oven has been leaking dangerous CO levels as per the gas company. I have explained it to three different technicians with Summit Appliance and each time they say that it is the paint that needs to burn off for 3 to 4 hours. But we have been using the oven for nearly a year. I have taken off work to meet technicians who don't even check the CO levels, or bring a CO meter. They just say, "It's working fine and then run out of the door." You have to chase them down and show them the report from the gas company. And then they just go, "Oh, you just need to run the oven for 3 or 4 hours and it will be fine." It is an endless circle of explaining the problem in very simple terms, having the technician rebuff you, and then waiting for another one to come out and do the same thing.

    Terrible service, kegarator starts beeping every 2 hrs and won't stop till breaker is turned off and now I have to pay a company to come fix it. Go with another company

If you're paying for the repairs, I can only assume that your kegerator is out of the manufacturer warranty and that you were referred to a local service company for assistance. Here at Summit Appliance we stand behind our product and though you are out of the manufacturer warranty, we have no problem helping you out with parts free of charge if parts are needed to repair your unit. We ask that you send a copy of the service report once you get the unit serviced indicating the parts needed and a copy of your purchase receipt to *******************************

    I PURCHASED A SUMMIT WINE COOLER AND RAN INTO SOME COMPLICATIONS THAT REQUIRED REPLACEMENT OF THE COOLER. *************************** THE SERVICE REP. FOR SUMMIT WAS VERY HELPFUL GUIDING THIS TO A GREAT CUSTOMER SOLUTION. SHE DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS, BUT WAS VERY GRATIOUS HELPING ME GET TO A POSITIVE SOLUTION.I WOULD RATE HER A 10 OUT OF 10. WISH ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE WAS SO KIND.***************************

    Excellent customer service. Our under-counter refrigerator developed a leak in the sealed coolant system at some point and was no longer cooling after about 2 years. (I've heard this can happen on rare occasions, possibly during shipping, and I don't fault the company for any defect.) Despite being out of warranty, Summit shipped me a brand new unit free of charge. ******* A was especially friendly, responsive and helpful in making the process fast and painless. Thank you!

    Purchased a new Summit stove from ********** on 10/11. Within less than 30 days the stove is bad and had to have the repair person come out. He said it was not fixable. So we waited over 8 days to have Summit repair come out to tell us that the stove is bad. But instead he comes out does not tell us anything so we assume they are sending us a new stove. So we call two days later they say since the stove was not hooked up they couldn't tell. Your telling me *********** person couldn't hook it back up. Now of course we have to wait another 8 days probably to tell me the stove is bad so they can finally order us a new stove. So now the family that lives there has been without a Stove for over a month. Beyond ridiculous, will not buy another Summit appliance.

    I purchased a Summit outdoor refrigerator for my outdoor kitchen, and a couple of months ago, it started freezing the contents. I called Summit, and spoke to ******. when I described the problem, he immediately said I needed a temperature sensor and display board. They set up a service call and sent someone out to make the repair. When the serviceman got there, he said it needed a couple of extra parts, and he would get them ordered, and come back in a week to make the repair, which he did. Unfortunately, the repair didn't work, and the refrigerator was still freezing the contents. I called Summit back, and spoke to ****** again, told him what was going on, and he informed me they were shipping me a new refrigerator. First, it's amazing that you can call a manufacturer and actually speak to someone that knows what they are doing. Second, instead of making me go through another repair process, they are going to ship me a replacement. As far as I'm concerned, Summit has outstanding customer service, and I highly recommend looking to Summit if you need to purchase appliances. Best customer service I have experienced in a long time.

    In my 79 years, I thought I had seen sleezy operations. Nothing that I can compare with can describe the shady, shoddy equipment and the service support of Summit Appliance.This organization refuses to stand by their product. When I called they told me that I had to pay for an outside, yet approved by them, contractor to confirm that the compressor was bad. I then had to pay shipping costs as well as the outside technician to install the replacement. After this, there would be no additional warranty on any parts including the compressor.

I'm assuming that the reason the support team had asked you to get the unit serviced to confirm compressor failure is because the unit is out of the manufacturer's warranty but has the 5-year compressor warranty. In order to replace a compressor or for that matter the entire unit, we need a service report indicating compressor failure from a qualified service provider. Once we get this, we either send you a compressor or replace the unit if needed. Hopes this clarifies your concerns.
