      I was having trouble submitting my registration for a big-screen TV. When I called CPS to activate the registration, I was given the option of having a callback, which is much easier than waiting on hold.A.J. called and was a great help with the registration process. He already had most of my information on-hand, and I provided the rest, so now I am covered for future issues with the TV. It was a quick call! Thank you.

      Dealing with this company for 4 months. First problem: they do not pay the service company so I cannot schedule service with the company they assigned me. In May, I had to chase down CPS over 2 weeks to pre-pay the service company the $75 service appointment fee before they could come out and diagnose the issue. Now it's August and I have received the part from the manufacturer, but the service company will not put me on their schedule to come install because CPS has still not paid them for the labor 3 months ago. The service company has tried getting payment from CPS numerous times over the past 3 months. Always a generic "your request has been submitted" reply from the claims agent at CPS, ***********************************.Second problem: Cannot reach anyone at CPS about the claim. You call, wait on hold for 20 minutes and then the system forces you to accept an automated call back (supposedly holds your place in the queue). THEN when you receive the call back and answer, it goes directly to voicemail. Seriously? Your system calls me back and then sends me to voicemail? (And no, nobody will ever call you back if you leave a vm) Or, 3 times that I've gotten a "call back" the line just went dead when I picked up. If this were not so frustrating, it would be comical. The two times in the past 4 months that I actually have gotten through to the claims department, they give me wrong/outdated information - or just a generic response that the issue will be resolved in 24 hours - and I have to push them to check deeper because I've kept in the loop with the service company and know it's been well past 24 hours and there is no movement.Dealing with this company will make you feel altogether helpless or like someone is playing an elaborate prank on you. I would not have chosen to work with them, but my manufacturer (Ilve) has a deal with CPS to handle manufacturer warranty claims. My advice is (a) don't buy an Ilve appliance and (b) definitely do not buy a warranty with CPS.

      Your company is completely worthless. I have been dealing with this company since June 28 due to a non functioning refrigerator with your extended warranty I paid for. This company has been pushing me at the refrigerator company to fix it and they will not. It is solely this warranty company to pay for the repairs and labor or give me a settlement amount. I have done all that was requested , including getting an estimate of parts and labor costs , emailed it and was refered to the refrigerator company. I amnot going back and forth waiting indefinitely for this. I have an authorized repairman to fix it and will order the parts in a timely fashion. I want the check to pay for this and Im not waiting any longer

      CPS is a total scam!! I paid $250 for my warranty that was supposed to cover everything on my washing machine for 5 years after the manufacturer's warranty. My machine broke after 5 years when I called they said they would send a repairman but I had to pay a $150 deductible. They assigned me to a service center 5 hours away from my home. When I complained they reassigned me to a different service center 8 hours away from my home!!!!! They will not answer any of my calls. I have now paid CPS $400 for absolutely notice. STAY AWAY!!

      They made it very difficult to do a replacement on my broken unit and now that my warranty is up and I don't want to renew they are harassing me with calls and emails after multiple requests to not contact me.

      Looking at all these 1 star reviews are crazy. I had a wonderful experience with my claim. I had water leaking from my Maytag Fridge. Filled a claim through their website, uploaded all my receipts, them was approved. CPS even contacted the repair service, which was Whirlpool approved appliance repair service out of ********, **. ************ then called me next day for an appointment 3 days away. When the repairman came, I explained my issue and away he went working on it. Said it was an super common issue with water on the floor being a clogged condenser drain tube from the defroster. 30 mins and he was done! Explained to me proper cleaning monthly for preventative maintenance. All paid by CPS! I'm sorry to hear all the issues everyone is having. My extended warranty has paid for itself, so I'm a happy camper. Thanks for reading and hope everyone gets their issues resolved quickly.

      This was my first experience dealing with CPS for repair of a new refrigerator I purchased from an appliance store a year ago. The store offered the extended warranty option and I chose to purchase it because it was a large appliance. I contacted CPS and was assisted by a staff member who was very helpful because I was unfamiliar with the process. They told me what I needed to do which I did and they told me that I would get an email once a repair company was selected and I would hear from the company in a few days. I was contacted by the repair company the same day and they sent a repair person out the next day to repair the problem. It is still working well since the repair was made. Shortly after the repair was done I received an email telling me that the claim was approved and paid.
