  I would give zero stars if I could . Its a total scam. If the appliance can not be repaired , you will get less than half of what you paid. I had a new appliance, it was defective. Couldnt be repaired. $1600 and CPS offered $600. SCAM DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

  Awful. My parents bought a ******* oven 4 months ago. My mom baked a cake, then turned the oven off and closed the door. About 5 minutes later, the tempered glass (sandwiched between inner and outer glass) exploded. The glass pieces have slit through the door and onto the floor and lodged themselves into the hinged area, so it wont open or close. CPS says its a cosmetic issue and isnt covered. What a joke!

  I purchased a suite of appliances and warranties from Appliances Connection about 3 weeks before they closed down and filed for bankruptcy. The warranties I purchased originally were voided and "transferred' to CPS to be reinstated. CPS contacted me directly, told me that I had to re-purchase my warranties for $2,500 and then CPS would work with my credit card company to get a refund of the original purchase with Appliance Connection. I took them on their word, paid them $2,500, and waited for an update. Nearly a month later, I hadn't heard back and when I followed up with CPS, I was told that the credit card company refused to work with them, wouldn't file the dispute, and there wouldn't be a refund forthcoming. CPS then instructed me to contact my credit card company myself to get it resolved.The company I originally purchased the warranties from went bankrupt - there is no way my credit card is going to refund me $2,500 when the creditor no longer exists and they won't get their money back.This was a total scam. They used high pressure sales tactics and complete misrepresented their service and what was possible. I'm now out $5,000 and seeking a refund from CPS and I will deal with the warranty payments to Appliance Connection through bankruptcy court.

  A CPS sales representative, *********************************, will not stop contacting me in an effort to sell me a warranty, even after I politely asked her to stop. Very hard sell. Not respectful of customer wishes. The representative made a promise on the phone to refund my money if I purchased a warranty, but has not put that information in writing; this makes the promise seem false, and possibly just a strategy to get me to buy.

  The whole process of buying the CPS warranty with my Mercari purchase & filing a claim for the portable speaker when it stopped syncing a year later was quick & painless. Even a question I had regarding the settlement amount was handled quickly & easily. ****** was very pleasant & most helpful via email & via phone! She explained things clearly & resolved the claim quickly! Thank you so much for your assistance! Now, I am just awaiting the accepted settlement payment to arrive within the next 30 days, as advised via the website.

  I'm out 100s of dollars because this company is fraudulently going back on their warranties, in my case using the excuse of the Appliance Connection bankruptcy even on ones that were before the bankruptcy was even announced. In my opinion, don't ever trust this company with extended warranties on any of your appliances or devices they will just go back on them, even though they were paid, and then try to scam you out of $100s more to reinstate them just to scam more money off of you. Stay far away unless you want to throw away money on a scam non-warranty.

  It was my pleasure to speak with ********************************* today. There were several attempts to contact me, as I was out of town, on my message center. She understood my issues and handled everything in a professional and courteous manner. She alone would be the reason to deal with this company again in the future. Thank you for your kindness.
