On 9/27/2021 I purchased a home warranty effective 9/27/2021 to 3/27/2025. I have been trying to contact them for a claim and the phone number and website do not work. My husband paid fora 5 year plan. We had problem with our gas range they couldn't or wouldn't repair it We were told that they would give us ****** towards purchase of new gas range. Range was over ****** and we never Saw a cent. We had two other issues, they came collected copay but never resolved a single issue. My husband passed away this week and I got angry all over again. They took advantage of his trustfulness, how dare they,. Would love to see lawsuit brought against these horrible people who seem to be take joy from defrauding senior citizensInitial Complaint

My mom and I have paid them a monthly premium for a home warranty. The water heater has a hole in it and can not get them to fix it. They keep saying someone will be there to look at it and since 3/2/23 no one has shown up. No hot water in the house and when we turn it on it floods the hallway. This is ridiculous and she is elderly and disabled we really need the water heater fixed asap. They said someone would be out on 3/20/23 but I doubt anyone will show up like the last 4 appointments that have been scheduledCustomer Answer

June 16, 2022 placed a claim for a/c unit and we were told someone would come out to fix the problem within 48 hours.June 25, 2022 an electrical box component (part of a/c system) burned up on the outside of our home and ruined our $5000 a/c condenser in the process.Compete care said they will only pay $250 to repair the electrical box as they dont cover secondary issues. We still have not received any compensation. Also, there would have been no secondary issue if they had done the work they promised in the time they told us it would be completed. They have all the documentation - but will not respond to make this right. Legal shield has also written the company on my behalf.Initial Complaint

This company seems to be a scam they took my 1950$ in cash and then when I tried to get a refund as they have no service providers . The phones are disconnected they dont answer emails and the website is down that is a lot of money for me and my family I also bought a second policy at the same time for 1,100$ and still have not gotten any payout or refund . I received a form letter dated Jan. 27, 2023, from CCHW Home Warranty Division that was addressed to my late mother but at my home address in ********, a state where she never lived. The boldface words "FINAL NOTICE" were in every corner of the correspondence and gave a Feb. 24 deadline for responding. It implied a mortgage borrower relationship with ***** ********** NA, which she never had. It provided no return address but had a bulk mailing permit issued in ***************, *******. The only contact information provided was a toll-free number **************. It included a meaningless "Property ID" number to enhance its official-looking appearance. At the bottom of the correspondence was a detachable "registration fee voucher" made to look like a check in the amount of $199.00 (notably, an amount one dollar less than the threshold for committing a felony in many states) payable to the deceased addressee, ostensibly to defray the cost of renewing a non-existent policy. No such payment has been or ever will be made, but I wanted to report the scam for whatever marginal good it might do.Customer Answer

I paid $1,080.00 up front for a 3 year home warranty plan. It was suppose to cover 5/22/2021 to 11/22/2024. I had an issue arise with my heat pump at the end of December. I tried to call for service and the number had been disconnected. I looked them up online and it said they were no longer in business. I have not used the service and would like a refund. Previous to this, I had an issue with my dishwasher, filed online for service, they said they were having a hard time finding a technician. After about I month, I repaired it myself and was told they would send me a check for $100.00. Never saw that either. Now I can't even download my policy information.
