If I could give no stars, I would. We filed a claim on the 7th of April. The local technician came out promptly, but was unable to fix the issue. Because parts were not readily available, the technician was not able to get the water heater fixed. I called Complete Care and agreed to a $250 reimbursement on parts and labor that I would take care of myself locally. This agreement was on 4/8/2022. I was told that my check to reimburse the parts and labor would arrive in 6-8 weeks. It is now 8/2/2022!! No check. I have tried to call Complete Care SEVERAL times in the last two weeks, wait on hold, and then after TWO HOURS on hold, I get hung up on! I try to call and speak to customer service about my reimbursement, and I get forwarded to a manager. When I am actually able to speak with the manager, they always tell me the same thing. Checks are mailed once a month, and I cant tell if your check has been generated yet. I am so sick of the run around and have decided to cancel since my contract term has been reached. I am told that the cancellation department isnt taking calls!? I cant cancel this service because I cant speak with someone that will help me. I have decided to stop payment on my ACH payment to this company and maybe they will call me to ask why. I am at a loss for what else I can do to get my money back and cancel this service.

Like others, I decided to cancel my contract after reviewing the terms of the contract. To even get a copy of the contract, I had to call and ask for it, they never made any attempt to reach out to me. I was promised a refund. A month later, I realized I still hadn't seen my money. I talked to a manager, who told me that I wasn't entitled to any refund, and lied by telling me that I had previously agreed to that. I went off on him, and we negotiated a pro-rated refund of about 85%. I thought that was the end of it. Long story short, after 9 months of at least weekly calls to the company, my check was always either "about to be mailed" or "strange you haven't gotten it yet". Interestingly, once my state ************************* got involved, it only took a couple weeks to show up. If you are reading this because you are stuck in a similar situation as me, call your state *************************. From now on, any promises Complete Care representatives make to you need to be confirmed in writing. While you are on the phone, ask them to send you an email summarizing how much they owe you and how it will be delivered. Because they will lie about what was said to you on the phone. These written correspondences will be very important to deliver to your state AG. Verbal promises that aren't recorded are worthless. AGs are very busy, don't harass them, but do follow ** in about a month, so they know whether or not your issue is resolved.Complete Care is based in **********. I am going to file a complaint with them as well. They should know that they have an abusive company running in their state.

I called Complete Care Home Warranty to have my water heater looked at. After paying the $75 the tech came out and told me I had the heater temperature set two high. I informed him I only turned it up when it stopped working and that wasnt the problem. After a total of 3min spent at my unit he insisted that was the issue and left. After my heater still remained broken I called back to have the tech come back. Instead of coming back the tech called me told me he was tired and was just going to put down that the water heater needed to be replaced. Then complete care home warranty called me and told me that they dont replace water heaters. When I told them the tech never even looked at my water heater and did the diagnostic over the phone they refused to come back and told me to hire another technician to look at the water heater. After paying another technician my water heater works great and I didnt have to replace it. This company is a complete scam. They will take your money and $75 service charge, but wont even show up to do the service. Beware.
