      I had questions about their plan and wrote an email. i followed up several times and they said someone would email me back. after 3 weeks, I didn't receive a response so I went to cancel my warranty plan. Their cancellation department is AWFUL. they give you the run around by saying their account specialists are occupied and they will take a message to escalate. I've been trying to cancel for 2 weeks with the same run-around. I'm now filing a dispute with my credit card company. They make it difficult to cancel so they can take your money. Disgusting!

      On July 2, 2024, I purchased a home warranty plan from Elite Home Warranty for $600. The plan's coverage period was specified to begin on August 13, 2024, and extend through October 12, 2025. At the time of purchase, the representative was highly responsive and answered my emails promptly, typically within minutes. However, since the purchase, I have repeatedly requested a copy of my policy or contract via email, but I have not received it. Despite his initial responsiveness, the representative only replied to a few of my emails after the purchase, promising to send the contract, but he eventually stopped replying ************* of now, I am uncertain whether my policy is active and, if so, what is covered under it. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable. I don't know how this company operates, but I am sharing this so others are careful when purchasing policies from this company.

      Terrible coverage and terrible service. I purchased home warranty insurance because my house is getting older. They denied coverage due to the age of the furnace or they cover such a small portion that you don't even break even from the monthly costs and the high copayments that they have. I have unanswered emails from them one time from charging me my monthly fee 5 days too early for my next month. It seems like a scam. They are definitely making all the money and barely covering everything. The other thing that seems like a scam is that when they did cover 1/4 of the costs of a new refrigerator for me, the guy asked me to text my ****** info. and then he sent the money via ****** with no documention to go with it.

      I called for three plumbing issues. It took a few days for them to find a company, but they finally did have somebody come out and check. The quote was approximately $1500 and we paid $70 per claim, 210 total, all plumbing claims. Elite home warranty was not forthcoming. We had purchased this insurance and were told it would not be in effect for 30 days. During my conversations with them, it was never explained that any claim under 90 days would only have $300 coverage. I was told to look on page 25 of my policy. Why didnt they say anything about this during multiple conversations before the plumber came to our house. Very disappointed, felt it was very underhanded in the way they communicated. I will never ever use such a deceitful company again or recommend to anybody.
