      On 4/6/2023 I applied for a credit card thru M&T bank. It stated that I could transfer a balance from another credit card for 0% until 10/7/24. I decided to have $2500 transferred from my Discover card to my new M&T card. M&T bank has now added $2500 to my new card. But after contacting the people at Discover card they have not received any payment from M&T BANK. I have contacted M&T BANK over and over without any results from them. So as of this time I/O M&T BANK $2500 and I still owe my Discover card $2500 with accumulating interest. can someone please help me? Thank you. ***** *******

      Recently, my mortgage was bought out by M&T Bank. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!! I was informed by the property tax department that my taxes were in collections due to someone dropping the ball during the transition. I've been the middle man between the both for almost a month trying to get this rectified. In the mist of trying to rectify due to the status, a lien was being placed on my property 5/16/23. Of course, this needed to be escalated and made priority due to the nature. I called M&T EVERY DAY and never got a resolution! Every day I was made to believe it would be resolved before the 5/16. On 5/12 I attempted once more and was basically told by a supervisor named Tameka, they wouldn't have it resolved by the 16th. I was furious!!!! I've resided there 2 years and never encountered anything of such before. My property taxes are included in my mortgage. This entire situation is beyond comprehension and the mere fact no one is competent or socially inclined enough to assist, baffles me!!!! I had to take care of this delinquency at my expense today to avoid loosing my home. Now, I have to wait to be reimbursed and that's not likely to be any time soon considering the handling of the original problem. PLEASE, intervene and help me get my money back! We're in a recession, I don't have that amount of money lying around for mistakes made by my mortgage company. They should be trained and know how to handle a buy out efficient and accurately. I'm not enthused by this buy out considering the issue I've experienced 2 months into the transition. Unfortunately, I'm stuck! Refinancing isn't an option for me. My interest rate is amazing and with todays market, it wouldn't be feasible. With limited characters, I paraphrased to be as detailed possible. Prayerfully, this fall in the right hands and I will see my reimbursement sooner than later. Attached is a picture of the receipt. The previous homeowner is showing because it's swopping ownership, my name will reflect as owner 10/1.

      In beginning of December I upgraded my sons phone .3 weeks later realized we never mailed back the trade in .At&t was notified they said send it. In the beginning of January kept getting text from At&t that the apple find my phone was not turned off.I called and I did not have the apple ID. At&t said to call apple tech.I googled apple tech support .I called the not knowing it was a bogus site. They said they can get in my account to get the ID number.I was so confused the he had me fo it my which was my bank account he said he wanted to make sure I was the real person.He had me go on Zelle I had no idea what that was then emailed me numbers said put this code in whi ch turned out to be a dollar amount. 199702 I right away saw my account was down .I screamed at him saying it was a scam he promised he was from apple and is sending the money right back. HE HAS ME GO ON CASH APP AND DID SOME STUFF AND SAID PUT THE NUMBER IN WHICH WAS 1997.02 AGAIN .THEN MY ACCOUNT WAS DOWN 3994.04.I WENT CRAZY HE SAID ILL CALL YOU BACK IN A SECOND .I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE BANK THEY SHUT DOWN ALL MY ACCOUNTS WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH THE BANK HE KEPT CALLING AND TEXTING THE BANK SAID DO NIT ANSWER.I HOT THE CASH APP BACK BUT THE BANK SAID ZELLE IS HARD TO GET MO EY BACK.They said it takes 90 days.I said it was fraud they agreed .I said your insured they said it's Zelle I said it's on my bank site.So I waited 90 days and no reply on the Zelle from the bank I had police report done. I'm on social security disability can barley walk and it was all the money I had .I hope you can help

      I received money from refunds and other errors 75.26 was posted in my account I took one Uber made one store run ended with 3.40 my account was made in the negatives by 40.46 while being in the negatives I had a pending deposit to be posted that was taken out .I reached a supervisor and we figured out what the problem was I file a dispute and 3.11 cents was out back but not my 10.00 or my 33.57 I am looking for that amount and having a hard time. Refund is requested asap

      Impossible to pay credit card bill online it's 2023 ! When attempting to pay over the phone customer service representatives appear to be trained to disconnect the call rather than provide customers with any service. Today I had to call 5 times and spend over an hour to make one single payment. When asking about company policy on what is required for a customer to make a payment several employees claimed they couldn't tell me for "security' reasons. The very next call I was told by a rep and a supervisor in very clear English what those requirements are. It seems as if the representatives are being paid to play games with customers to BOOST late fee revenue rather than provide actual customer service. The way this company conducts itself is far from professional and lacks integrity around every corner. If it's call center reps not being trained properly or not being held to any professional standard or both I'm not sure BUT the people need to know exact what this company has to offer and that's a waste of your time EVERY chance they get. My time is very valuable and for reps to put me on hold time and time again just to waste my time is where I draw the line. I will report this as many times as it takes. Heads must roll policy must change or my ability to speak eliminated because I WILL NOT STOP

      I opened a bank account on 11/2022 with the intent to use it for regular banking. After deciding that I wanted more features, I switched to ***** banking. On 04/28/2023, I decided to switch my direct deposit back to M&T and completed the process assuming that I could do so successfully. On 05/05/2023, I went to log on to my M&T account and saw the error message “temporary password expired”. I went into the branch and spoke with a representative who informed me that my account was closed due to negative balance. I asked how a negative balance accrued and she stated it was two service fees from non-use totaling $9.45. They closed my account on 04/18/2023 and charged off the 9.45. I was told that a letter was sent, however, I use the informed delivery function from the United States post office and looked back to the beginning of March and No letter was delivered. I am trying to get my credit score up so I have been opening all mail and would have seen a letter from M&T. They’re actions have damaged my credit even more and while I’m willing to pay the 9 bucks I want this off my credit and off ***********.

      I’ve been with M&T Bank for a long time & I’ve never had this issue. Recently I called them to cancel a duplicate charge placed on my account by a company that I found out was purposely double charging people so I’m returning the products. M&T took the charge off my account that put me in a negative balance so I’m appreciative of that. I had to get a new card & I’ve used it a few times with no issues until today. I went to use my card at ******* for 2 transactions to separate my personal things from work charges. I went to the grocery store I’ve shopped in for many years & my card kept declining which embarrassed the crap out of me. Thank God I had some cash on me to pay for the few items I can afford these days but when I called the fraud dept to see what’s wrong, I was on hold forever so I hung up. One woman at M&T did ask me if I wanted to sign up for email verifications when I use my card. No I do not. I don’t always carry my phone into the store so why do I have to verify what I buy? Why are the banks determining what I can buy & when by carrying my spying device wherever I go? I will be dealing in cash because I’m in credit card debt which was another trap they get us into to survive. If someone steals my card, good luck with that because I’m broke but how dare the bank decline my food purchase from a grocery store because I haven’t setup a 2nd spying/data collection method?

      someone opened an account in my name online. I am unable to get the account stopped. This is identity theft and they keep asking me for my account number. I need a call from an executive and assurance that this account is closed

      I’m writing this email to make you aware of the HORRIBLE customer service I’ve received from your institution! I’ve had a fraudulent charge come through my account Sunday evening of about $24.00. I’ve been doing some heavy shopping, so this caused my account to be in the negative. I got the email regarding the charge and immediately called in to report this fraud before 11pm Sunday evening. The lady was less then helpful if I’m being polite and stated I would be charged $25 for an expedited card? Why?!
      Obviously, I didn’t have $25 in my account to do so , so now , I wait for a new card on-top of having the negative funds in my account in which I NEVER authorized!! Regardless, the charge has now come out of pending status and is now showing a negative charge on my account. To my surprise, having already reported this fraud, why haven’t I been given a provisional credit? I called and had an escalation to a few of your “call center managers” who again gave me less than exceptional service They include a lady by the name of Christine, Alline and Endia. Christine was rather rude and tried to rush me off the phone to state there’s nothing further to talk about. Can you say rude?! Also , I find it unacceptable that my money is now tied up , having no debit card for up to 10 days?! Why am I waiting up to 10 days for a provisional credit with nobody being able to assist? Why am I waiting on an email reply with nobody being able to give me proper assistance, only waiting for an email reply? This is absolutely ridiculous and find it hard to comprehend that nobody can assist me further? If can’t see how frustrating this is , then I don’t know what more to say. The absolute awful service I’ve received without any sort of empathy or concern from your employees is upsetting and after this experience, I’ll be finding a new banking institution!

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I’m still without a debit card with no urgency or empathy from this institution! They gave me NO credit that wasn’t already owed! They’ve done me NO favors by refunding a $17 overdraft fee they applied to my account in error. Why is there a fee applied during a fraud investigation?! A joke! I’m getting the sane crappy service as I did by being rushed off the phone.  Unreal how tgey treated me.  Why did I not receive a phone call back from Marcy as promised? Just this general cold letter back?! Awful bank backing their awful staff!!  Good riddance M&T!! Get back to providing that awful service to the next fool you try to “help”!!       For no reason to put my account on hold,and say will take 7-10 days, after 10 days I call to ask status and they just keep push around, and now is more than 20 days, and still hold my money without explain anything to me, every time call to ask always different thing say by different employees,and always have to wait on line for half hours everytime,worst bank I have bank with,service bad,and now I just want to cancell the account get my money back so I could pay bill,but they won’t let me get my money back and keep holding my money
