I recently purchased the BLACK LEOPARD IPHONE CASE - IPHONE 12 PRO and the GREY MAGSAFE GRIP RING. The magnet for the grip ring is not strong at all and does not securely stay on my phone case while I am using the ring to hold my phone. It slides off due to the weight of the phone and this was not how the product was advertised. When I contacted their customer service I received the following response: "Unfortunately, the case you ordered was not magsafe for iPhone 12 Pro. Once you select your appropriate size on any listing/case, all information pertaining to that specific style/size will populate on the images next to the size selection."However, there are multiple photos on social media (instagram and ********* that show the same magsafe grip ring being used with the exact phone case that I purchased. Also when I was selecting my phone case on their website, I used the dropdown menu, and selected the case that I purchased within the magsafe section of the site. I did notice that in the description for the case it stated "Magsafe built-in (select cases)", but I thought that this was a general disclaimer for all of the cases, and applicable to those listed in the non-magsafe section of their site. Alternatively, looking at the grip ring description and images on their site, it shows the same images where the same phone case and ring are being used together, and there is no information/disclaimer stating otherwise that the grip ring does not work with any particular phone cases. Additionally, when I commented on their instagram post (again showing the same case being used with the same magsafe grip ring that I purchased) warning people that the photo was misleading since the grip ring does not work with the phone case, my comment was deleted/removed from the post. So this egregiously shows that they are aware that their product is not functional as they are advertising.Velvet Caviar

However, the size you selected (12 Pro) is NOT MagSafe, and this is mentioned on the listing once you select your size. Happy to send those images over via email for you again if needed! Velvet Caviar is a horrible business. I purchased only two things on February 28, 2023. At time of writing this it is April 1, 2023. I never received anything and shockingly my package got "lost" twice. This "business" is a scam. Only business I've ever heard of that don't give back refunds to customers. They are NOT to trust with your money. You will never see your money again or ever get the product. I ordered a phone case from a different company and got it in less than a week. I hope if ANYONE thinks to purchase from this company -- DON'T. Velvet Caviar's customer service is horrible and can't get a response until almost a WEEK later. I have been scammed by Velvet Caviar. 1 starAll I want is my money back. I have sent numerous emails asking nicely for a refund. I would try to call the company but they have no phone number. This is extremely infuriating and it feels like I got scammed because I never got my items. All I want is a refund. Can you please track where the items are and have them send it back to your facility? All I want is my money back. Can I please get a phone number to speak with someone in person? I have sent a lot of emails. I need to talk to a real person who is in charge. All of the emails look fake and/or computer generated. I don't want an automotive/robotic response. I want someone to reply to me. I'm not asking for a lot. I have no problems getting a refund from others because they have a phone number. This complaint is totally not the company's fault. It was on me to do my due diligence and research Velvet Caviar BEFORE purchasing anything from them. They are a very sly, underhanded, unethical company like a snake in the grass. If YOU don't do your homework then shame on you. I excitedly purchased 2 BOGO s22 phone covers and a screen protector and read NO REVIEWS prior to my purchase. When I received them, neither of them fit my phone as I am now seeing is an extremely common complaint. When I emailed them to return them, they were EXTREMELY HELPFUL, but they knew they weren't at all obligated to help me because the return policy says. "BOGO'S are NOT eligible for returns OR exchanges. So of course, they can always say, "We are a very sweet, helpful, cooperative and professional company trying to hear your complaint!" and you can DEFINITELY agree with that, but that's because they DO NOT stand by their products and will make no attempt to exchange or refund your money, because YOU didn't read the return policy. They just have to say, "We offered to help her, but she didn't read our return policy with regard to ****'s" That's how they gotcha and that's how Velvet Caviar keep YOUR $$$ and stays in business. So I have 2 useless phone covers that I paid $50 for and can't use them. They're very cunning and unscrupulous at what they do, but they don't care. They're masters at cheating their potential long term customers. They don't care about repeat business either because the typical *************** doesn't take the time to investigate a product. So ignorant people like me are like sheep to the ********* and there are billions of ** walking around. My biggest problem is not searching for them to see if they were BBB approved.Velvet Caviar

I ordered a phone case and battery pack for my iPhone 2 weeks ago. I received an email from **** that the shipper electronically sent over the shipping details. I emailed Velvet Caviars customer service and received a response to click on the link for the tracking details. The details state the same thing, there is no update that **** has even received the package nor any details of when I should be receiving it. This cost me $120 and trying to get customer service to answer you is like pulling teeth. At this point I just want a refund and dont even want the package any longer.Velvet Caviar

I placed my order on January 29th with priority shipping of 2-3 days. Here it is a week later and I still dont have my order. **************** is worthless. Ive emailed them numerous times with no help returned. All I get is excuse after excuse. I really wish I had of read the horrible awful reviews of this sorry excuse for a company before spending my money with them. 0/10 stars and Ill be sure to tell anyone who will listen just how incompetent they truly are! And apparently reporting this company to BBB does nothing as Ive read the long list of nasty reviews here and yet theyre still open ripping people off. Case was beautiful. Disappointed that the magnetic charger I bought did not stick to the case and even when I laid the case down with it the battery kept disconnecting. Tried to do a return and was met with the fact I was outside my 14 day return window from shipping which is ridiculous since the day the case supposedly shipped was reaching close to a month from the date of the order. Now I'm stuck with a super expensive case and "magnetic charger" I cannot use.Velvet Caviar

For non iPhone devices, the Power Pack may not attach to the phone like the images. The Power Pack would need to be laid on a table and phone placed on top of it to charge or using the ****C power cord provided.Krystal B.

The company is saying that it makes it clear that the magsafe cases and batteries only work for iphones. It is NOT clearly stated on their website as they claim. When you go to magsafe cases and choose your phone brand outside of iPhone it does not provide a disclaimer or note that you are not longer purchasing a magsafe case that will work with the magsafe battery. Velvet Caviar is very misleading. I wanted to purchase my daughter a battery pack and mag safe case. Under cases I chose mag safe cases and ordered a few items including a case for an I phone 11 pro. I found out that it was not actually mag safe. When I reached out, they were vague and unhelpful stating that 11 pro does not come in mag safe. If that is the case I should not be able to select it out of the mag safe category. I will definitely go with casely in the future, it is clear what is mag safe and what is not. I requested a return and refund from VC and they said it wasn't possible. Very misleading.Velvet Caviar

The customer purchased a MagSafe Battery Pack (description on website shows only compatible with iPhone 12 and up) and a case for an 11 *************** 11s do not have MagSafe features) which was also stated in the description and photos of the item. All necessary information was listed on our website for the items. The order was placed during a BOGO sale which is typically final sale, however we have reached out to this customer to arrange a return.
