I was sent an offer to receive an item and only pay the shipping. I did that not seeing any information implying there would be recurring additional charges. They then charged my bank account $39.95 for something that I did not approve or authorize and I want my money back.Business Response

I am sorry for the confusion. The order was placed for the **************** special. This was for a 14 day trial for the ****************. The receipt states that this is a trial offer and also the advertisement states this is a membership to receive merchandise each month with a monthly charge of $39.95. Customer had placed an order for a 14 day trial of the ***************** offer: ************************************************************************; Customer was initially charged $9.94 for the Telescope on December 2nd( $4.99 + $4.95 Rush and Insured Delivery). We had not been contacted within the 14 day trial to cancel the membership. On December 31st the 1st Membership charge was applied. Customer contacted Customer Support on January 14th to cancel the Membership. The Membership was canceled and the $39.95 was refunded at that time.Initial Complaint

Saturday Jan 13 **** I was watching abandoned mansion on my phone and a promo came up I clicked it and watched it then filled everything out and tried to order the item on my **** credit card and only had to pay for shipping. Then I was told in red text that the card number was no good try again or a different card. I got busy at work and forgot all about it. Today I check my **** card and there is the charge on it for ***** which is the amount. But then I go to balance my checking account and it has a charge for ***** and ***** from them. It was my phone I did all this on but never used my personal debit card. This tells me that they have my information of my bank account I store on my phone and my **** account as well. I dont want anything to do with this company or a membership if it automatically signs you up for ordering something I would like a full refund.Business Response

I did not pay my tactical promos any money, I did not go completely through with filling out their form because it kept trying to get me to purchase ************** when I was just trying to get one of their free promo deals for my dad. Then they started emailing me encouraging me to finish with my purchase and informing me that they were holding the product for me. I did not respond to any of these emails. Then about two weeks ago I received a small black backpack from them, which I did not order, like I said I never completed the purchase process. Now they have charged my bank account in the amount of $39.95, and this is at a time when I CAN NOT afford any extra charges to my account, which is why I backed out of the site after it kept trying to get me to add more purchases there was no other option to be able to get out of the offer other than clicking out of the website altogether which I did and did not go back to it.Business Response

This WAS a membership offer that comes with a 14 day free trial and then goes to $39.95 per month for automatic monthly shipments of discounted survival/tactical gear. On December 17th 2023 I saw an add that offered ***** Gold Bars and all I had to pay was a $4.99 handling charge so I ordered 5 Bars. A day or two later there was an add saying I could get a telescope for $4.99 handling charge so I ordered it. Then there was a duffle bag for the same $4.99 handling charge so I ordered it. Yesterday I saw my credit card bill and they had charged me $39.95 twice, $49.95 once, $24.95 once and $4.99 twice. The last $39.95 was charged yesterday after I tried to call them and only got an answering machine and left a message. The other $39.95 was made on the 28th of December which gives me the idea they are charging me for some kind of membership or something I didn't sign up for. What I want from MYTACTICALPROMOS.COM is the two $39.95 charges and the $49.95 charge (which is $129.85) added back to my credit card. That is the amount they have charged which I didn't authorize plus I want them to stop charging my card. This company has numerous fraud complaints and should be put out of business. I am sorry for the confusion. Customer Placed orders on November 28th. There were Two items selected at the time the order was submitted. One order is for 5 Survivalist Outdoor Gear Gifts which have already been shipped and delivered to the customer. The other order is for the Outdoor Gear Memberhship package that is currently in transit to the customer. Please see attachments for Order Dates and amounts charged. Customer was charged a total of $89.90. She is asking for a $130 refund.
