      I received an email from Orion Capital Solutions on June 23rd at 11:01am. It went to my junk folder initially. I received a call from Jennifer S**** at 2:10pm and it went to voicemail as I was on the phone at work. Within 30 minutes I had a text from my sister stating that Jennifer reached out to my sister regarding the debt I owe and left a voicemail. Jennifer also called my son and daughter all within 30 minutes. Clearly my voicemail said my name, so she knew that was the correct number.

      When I spoke to her at 2:19pm after the intro of this is a debt collector, etc she went right in and said this is in pre-legal status. I advised that I was not able to pay the offered amount and would like to set up payments. I offered $125 per pay period. She said the best that she could do is $178. I agreed at the time. I plan to go back and negotiate. I have not received anything by email stating that they are in charge of the debt and I firmly believe this company throws out legal jargon to make clients feel like they have to act or else.

      I have never experience anything like this in my life and the fact that they contacted my sister, my son and daughter is absolutely ridiculous. It would have been a different story if they hadn't been able to get a hold of me.

      seriously and strive to adhere strictly to all compliance requirements.

      This company has been calling anyone that they feel is associated with me. They state that they want to know my location and phone number. They say I listed these people as references and that is not true. They are harassing my family members as if they owe a bill. I have been called twice by them as far as I can tell due to them calling from different numbers. I have no idea what this is concerning. I have received no emails or mailings from this company. I will not provide any personal information over the phone. They can send any correspondence to the last address they have. I request a cease and desist from them regarding my family/friends/associates. That is horrible practice. It makes me feel unsafe that a company feels they can call around asking for my location and pressure them to give such information out over the phone.

      This company is calling and harassing myself and multiple family members requesting personal information such as address and workplace. They are calling multiple times and leaving voicemails that seem like they are spammers. I am not aware of any debt in this company’s name and have never heard of them prior. We want a cease and desist on any contact of anyone outside of myself and my husband. If there is a legitimate debt or reason to contact us, do so by mail to us directly.

      On 5/5/2025 several estranged family members, immediate family & place of business were called to collect information. These numbers are mostly even unknown to me & were persistent. These numbers were acquired ILLEGALLY since I don’t even know how to contact most of these individuals. I have never been sent any notice via mail. I need this company to stop its predatory practices. I have no debt on credit report and they have called all family members and job to leave messages.

      The consumer states that on May 5, 2025, calls were made to estranged family members, immediate relatives, and their place of employment in an effort to obtain location information. We acknowledge this concern and understand the distress it may have caused.
      In accordance with FDCPA § 1692b, Orion may contact third parties only for the limited purpose of acquiring location information about a consumer when direct contact is unsuccessful. We do not disclose the nature of the debt or share account details during such calls. Nonetheless, Orion recognizes the sensitivity of this situation and has taken the following steps:

      All third-party phone numbers, including any workplace or family contacts, have been inactivated in our system;

      The account has been placed in “Cease and Desist” status.
      2. Allegation of Improper Data Acquisition
      The consumer expressed concern that contact information was obtained through improper or illegal means. Orion Capital Solutions would like to clarify that we receive phone numbers and consumer information from reputable sources provided by our creditor clients and commercially available databases. I have never had any interactions with this business and have never received any notice from them in the mail. I want this company to cease and desist all communications with me as well as my family, friends, or anyone else I may be associated with.
