    My boyfriend and I have been getting multiple calls from this company, and I keep getting told that someone is going to arrive with documents for me and that I am going to be served with a lawsuit. I am apparently not the only person.

    These people have been calling random family member's of mine who I do not live with threatening them and harassing them (being extremely rude and unprofessional when told not to call anymore, threatening to show up at said family member's house even though they were informed I do not live there, they hung up when told not to call back, threatening to show up to place of employment, screaming into the phone when they don't like being told to stop).

    They are using threatening and harassing scare tactics which are AGAINST the law.

    This company is harassing my family and friends via threatening voice mails and calls. It’s some sort of collection agency that won’t give me information on what the matter is about unless I disclose my social security number DOB etc.
    when I refused ? They became verbally aggressive and hung up the phone on me. They’re violating collections policies by harassing family members and making threats. One of them told me get a lawyer said they were coming to my home and I WILL provide my ID for them then. The harassment needs to end immediately

    This company is calling me and some relatives saying they will be at my work and home within an hour. They don’t say what it is in regards to nor give information identifying why they could be contacting me besides it’s a legal matter and they need my signature.

    This company has left threatening voicemails not only to me
    But to my parents but to my son. I am livid. Stop calling me! This seems extremely shady because legit debt collectors would never do this.

    Several members of my family, and also people I am not related to have received very disturbing, threatening voicemails from this company referencing my name and social security number. I contacted their office to try and speak with someone, I was transferred to a man who said his name was Brian, even though on his voicemail he said his name was Jack J****. He asked me to verify my social security number before he would discuss anything with me. When I refused, without me knowing what this is regarding, he became angry, yelled at me, threatened to come to my home and job to "serve" me, told me I better hire an attorney, etc. He would not let me speak, just kept yelling and threatening me. This is absolutely horrendous business! I do not understand how any company doing business this way is still IN BUSINESS.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  My complaint is clearly stated, not sure where the confusion is. I do not wish to be contacted again, and want them to stop harassing other people (relatives etc). They are in violation of the FDCPA, the man I spoke to was threatening me repeatedly, used abusive language, and was very demeaning & insulting.

    The business called my wife's phone first and left a threatening message stating: Calling for a final time in reference to a pending claim. I have contacted you trying to get your name off the filing that is soon to become public record. I will be over to your home and job within the hour to get your signature and move this filing along. You do have the legal right to contact the filing party before I arrive. Call ###-###-#### if I do not hear from the filing party right away I will be out to see you.

    Soon after they called my phone from the same blocked number and left the same message. I called them back and they were very rude and accusatory. Refused to provide me with their company business license number or anyone other than Mark who claims to be the manager. I was emailed a generic form letter while I was on the phone with them. I stated very clearly that they were to cease and desist contact with me or my family. Mark informed me that he can and will call any one he sees fit to call, family, job, friends, etc and that he would do so once per day per person as that's what the law allows.

    KPS Asset Consulting has been calling random friends and family members leaving voicemails to reach out to them now or they will be coming to my home or my place of employment to serve me papers. I’ve called the number back and spoke to a man who told me what my “original” debt was and I said I was not familiar with this debt or the loan she was referring to. He told me to contact the company directly and I said I would. He told me that since I didn't have knowledge that the company would move forward with a judgment or garnishment against me. I told him I planned to contact the company directly and I asked for no one to be called but me in regard to this. He told me the laws changed and he could contact every family member once a day until papers were filed. I asked for fax number, he said there was none, after a long pause, he gave me email but told me that nothing I send thru email would work. I have done research and according to the Federal Trade Commission, I have the right to request no further communication.

    If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt, except --

    (1) to advise the consumer that the debt collector's further efforts are being terminated;

    (2) to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor may invoke specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by such debt collector or creditor; or

    (3) where applicable, to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor intends to invoke a specified remedy.

    I was contacted twice by a Jessica B****, saying that I needed to contact her immediately to stop delivery attempts to my home and work. When I called back asking what this was in regards to I was told I was being sued by a previous unpaid loan. I asked them if they were an attorney's office and was told they are. They said I was going to also be charged a $1,500 court fee. When I called the original loan company, they told me they are NOT suing me. That they sold the loan to a debt collector, I made them aware this company is using their name to threaten people. After further investigation I have found they are not an attorney's office, and in fact a debt collector. I sent their information to the Ohio Attorney General and my own personal attorney.

    Illegal collection practices threatening to be legal counsel and also threatening family members of the debt holder that they are showing up to serve them at their job and their payroll center. It is completely false because I dont even have a job and am sitting at my house. They have no intention of "serving" anyone, its scare tactics that are illegal. The misrepresent who they are and what they do and even on the complaints filed here, lie in their answers. I have the voice recordings saved from voicemails to my family members pretending like they are showing up somewhere by slamming car doors and talking loudly like they are stepping out of their cars at a residence or business. This upset my mother in law so much she was crying. They are a disgusting tiny LLC from New York trying to scare people into paying off old credit card debt and not following the law in doing so. Kellie P***** is the owner of this illegal debt collection scheme and thinks its okay to threaten people and lie to get money. She can easily get my phone number or my husband's but intentionally called those family members outside my geographic area to make it seem like I was being arrested or going to jail. I lost my job in september 2023 and am filing bankruptcy. They today claimed they were sending the police to my house and shocker!! NO ONE HERE! I contacted an attorney to sue them for debt collection harassment and more people need to hold them accountable for this disgusting behavior. They are all over ****** for pulling this garbage on people which proves they are violating debt collection laws by claiming they are doing something they have no intention of doing. SICKOS.
