  I signed a lease on a Friday. The next day there were live cockroaches in the apart. there were dead bugs all over on Friday when i told the them about just wanted to move me into another unit. I told them i wanted my money back. They got they keys back to the apart on that Monday! But now i get get my money back.... i been calling everyday and know one gets back to you and get a run around. Don't know what to do any more

  Fairfield Poperties is absolutely horrible to deal with - no idea how they stay in business - other than that they own the properties they manage - no third party owner ****** hire them, unless the owner did not care at all about their tenants - as is often the case.Americans are sick of paying and paying and receiving absoluteyly no customer service.

  When my daughter moved into the Fairfield Properties in **********, she was given two keys. One of them didn't work. She told the super, and he said she had to make a copy of the key that did work. So I did, at my expense. Now, 2 years later, she moved our and returned the original key that worked, and the copy. They withheld $72 from my security deposit because of the "missing key." WHAT NERVE! $72 for a KEY, and one I had to pay for because the one they supplied didn't work. I'd take them to small claims court, but I we don't live in the area. Probably what these thieves are counting on.Further....you can't' call a super; everything is done on a portal. They take forever to make repairs, and when they are finally made, the work is shoddy. Believe it or not, the front door lock was installed upside down. After one repair, THEY LEFT THE ***** DOOR WIDE OPEN! My daughter got home and found it like that. All the appliances are on the low end. And the rents are ridiculously high for the area. BOTTOM LINE; LOOK ELSEWHERE!

  Im literally trying to renew my lease and cannot get anyone .. Ill have to go in person but I work nights and travel away from home so not ideal. Why havent I received any type of correspondence regarding this in advance? I moved in when another company owned this complex, avoided Fairfield intentionally. Now Im stuck until my new home is done being built but have no idea what is going on because no one gets back to you .. also cant send packages here they will be stolen. Woman in the office had the nerve to return and opened package w most of the contents missing. She initially said she found it outside a building then when I asked where to go see who took my stuff she said someone actually dropped it off no one cares, thats evident..

  H*** ON EARTH: Hi Fairfield my name is *********************************, I live at ******************************************************************I do not care if this is the correct place to contact. It truly doesnt matter with this company does it? Everything falls on deaf ears.I want to really thank you for giving me the full experience of H*** ON EARTH. I dont know how but you guys have mastered it. The devil is in the details, did you guys come up with that saying? I want you the random secretary to read this for your own enjoyment because I already know nothing will ever be done here. Maybe when you are done pass it on to another co worker. If all that comes from it is you spare you and your familys a few years of agony, then Im glad you read it!Ohhh Fairfields Luxury, luxury, luxury! How I wanted and waited to see even a glimpse of this luxury. Anticipating that at any turn I might be smacked in the face with this hidden and forbidden lux experience. At some point you have to come to terms and admit it is more likely that at any turn a crackhead or mentally ill person is more like to shank you than you ever catching a glimpse of the forbidden land. Even still we made the best of it, until One by one each vacant apartment was filled with neighbors worse than the previous. Which truly should not even bother us since we live at work, but when it cuts into the very few, measly hours you do get to spend at home.. it becomes an issue. When you have to wait and see if the crazy ladies are outside to take out the trash, or if the upstairs neighbor is done beating his wife and throwing furniture and plates out of their window. Ah finally with knife tucked into your pocket you get the trash out. You make it back alive. You get in bed and set your alarm 4.5 hours from now. Here goes ****! Shes pounding her head against your bedroom wall EXTRA hard tonight. The comforting smell of chain smoked cigarettes seeping through the walls and into your lungs. continued in pt2

  Horrible management the apartments seem nice but I assure you it is the manager special with spit and tape. They are legally stealing Tenants money and not providing what a landlord must. MOLD lack of water and the maintenance staff knows less than your local ********** associate.

  They are Thieves!!!!!!! back in **** i rented an apt in ******* (behind **** farms) they did the inspection when i wasn't home. they kept my entire security deposit after scrubbing the apt and taking pics to prove it they claimed it was dirty and the sink was chipped when i showed up at their office on ********** with the pics to prove the apt was spotless they said if i didn't leave they would call the police they never came out from behind a wall of glass I was pregnant & like an idiot i left I lost out on $700 where is my refund?? they need to investigate years and years back cuz fairfield has been stealing for *************

  I've lived at Ridgemoor apts in ******** **** a Fairfield property for 30 yrs . . Nice place until the last 5+ years . . I live in the high rise and have been without proper heat for over a year . . Can't get anyone to figure out what the problem is much less fix it . . Its in the teens at night and in the 20's during the day. . I need the heat fixed !!!

  Fairfield is as bad as you've heard. But, you can tell it was built before Fairfield bought it out because...they're nice. The one star is solely because of Fairfield management. I went through hoops (including contacting the ** AG office) to get my $750 security deposit back. The whole ordeal started in mid-September when my last month rent for October wasn't properly prorated and I only just now finally received my security deposit back in mid-November, a full month after my lease ended. They wouldn't prorate my rent in the system and instead told me to just pay the prorated amount. I did. Then after making close to a dozen contacts trying to get my security back, they send me my ledger where it shows that they applied my $750 security to my balance and that I OWE THEM $300, because they NEVER PRORATED MY RENT in the ledger. They then ignored my attempts to get it rectified for several business days, as usual, leaving me to believe that they're just not going to abide by the law.In ***, they're required to return your deposit within 14 days, or provide an itemized receipt of the damages they deducted. Fairfield blatantly ignored my multiple attempts to contact them via phone and email. Don't bother calling, their phone lines all go to voicemail "due to the covid-19 pandemic". They rarely answer email and if they do, they don't answer your question and then you have to wait another **** business days when you email them back saying that they didn't answer the question.I finally received an email that they've processed a check and sent it to me. After a week of not receiving it, I emailed them again to follow-up only to find out that they blocked my email address.Horrible and they prey on people who either don't have the patience or the time to fight them. How this company hasn't been taken down by the state yet is beyond me. I wish I could recommend my community, but I cannot in good faith recommend any Fairfield community based on their abysmal actions.
