      I reviewed my 2024 account statements and discovered a transaction on August 6, 2024, for $947.45 on a cancelled card ending in ****. This card was previously cancelled due to fraudulent charges, and I had initially overlooked this transaction. The flight ticket associated with this charge does not belong to me.Since fraud must be reported within 90 days, I am unable to file a dispute with Navy Federal. I am requesting Qatar Airways to refund my money.The transaction appears on my statement as: QATAR AIR ****** ****** 08/31/2024 *** *** *** *** ***.I contacted Qatar Airways regarding this issue, but they refused to assist me.

      Subject: Formal Complaint Against Qatar Airways for Unethical and Unfair Business Practices Dear *********** am filing a complaint against Qatar Airways for unethical business practices, including website booking errors, refusal to correct a name discrepancy, false information given to my credit card issuer, and failure to issue a full refund.       Ive booked with Qatar airways for probably $1800. The local airline used was ***************** from ********* NC then I got transferred to Qatar airlines when I arrived in *********** in **. I have 2 check in luggages and 1 carry on but as soon as I was about to board, I was told that theyre overbooked so theres no space. I was given 2 options, whether to check in my carry on or I have to miss my flight. I told them Im flying international so I cant miss it. I also expressed to them that I have about $7K worth of devices in my carry on that Im not comfortable checking in especially theres no lock. I had my essentials and medication for which nobody cared for. They check in my carry on and never gave me a bag tag as well. Your overbooking or not being able to anticipate how much space you have is not my problem. I paid for the flight expecting a smooth service, not like this. As a customer, it isnt my duty to adjust for you. It is wrong to force a passenger to surrender a very important carry on like that in any way. You couldve ask someone who travels local, not someone traveling for almost 2 days on a plane. Worst experience ever. My total flight time is 31 hours with the anxiety of hoping not to lose anything on that carry on that they forced me to check in. Id like to be compensated for the stressful travel of 31 hrs and all the expenses I had to pay for the essentials that I had to rebuy in the airport as I cant be walking around with a *********************** 4 flights and layovers. This IS my first time flying with Qatar airways and this IS such a bad experience. I paid extra to experience the airline as Ive never used them. If I knew what I had to go through with this 31-hr flight, I shouldve stayed with ***** or ***************. Ive read your policy about compensation, this IS one of the best examples of you NEED to compensate as even though this wasnt a delayed or cancelled flight, you have caused a DISRUPTION with my flight travel.

      10pm 25 Mar we booked online thru Alaska Air *************** & paid $408 for seats on conf ******. AKAir is cancellable in 24 hrs. After tickets sent to ************** said they'd be departing from different city. 12 hrs later, 10 am 26 Mar, I had to change only depart city of itinerary (Dep *** not SFO-IAD to ***, same DOH-JRO, new conf *******. Alaska changed w no fees but Qatar wouldn't transfer seats (tho cheaper price now online). Qatar said had to pay agent rate which was $77more & no credit for extra already paid. He asked for screen shot of online rate to "ask ************ get back to me in 1 hr for online rate. (I'd prefer to do online but not option, if they just refunded seats I could rebook at online rate). (25 Mar I paid IAD-DOH seats **** and Meera $408 ******, 26 Mar new first leg ***-DOH I'm asking to just transfer seats to ****** which are $48less). No callback. 3 hrs later I call back. New agent (tribeka?) says have to pay $117 (+$40 now), price is "dynamic" & keeps me on phone 2 hours. She says I pay or seat assigned at gate. Then she calls back says refunded $117 & if want seats need $77. Then another hr on hold to book seats. Spent 6 hrs & many tears & more money than if could do online, extremely frustrating customer service. I would like ********** (online rate $238 1st leg, $122 2d leg=$360, I pd $485 (408+77) both legs seats). In flights from **, seats fees must be refunded if canceled within 24 hrs. If fees had actually been cancelled and refunded I could have a refund of $125 and just rebooked online myself for $360. This was only 12 hrs. Against DOT rule to not refund. Thank you

      I am a ************** member with Burgundy status. When I explored the option of canceling my upcoming flight, the system indicated a $300 cancellation fee. However, based on the airlines published policy for Burgundy membersavailable on their official website (***************************************************************************)the applicable cancellation fee should only be $25.Because of this discrepancy, I have not canceled my flight yet, as I am being asked to pay a fee that contradicts the fare conditions clearly outlined for my membership level.I believe this practice is misleading and unfair, and I am requesting your assistance in resolving this issue. I would like Qatar Airways to honor the $25 cancellation fee in accordance with their stated policy.

      I booked airlines tickets with Qatar airways for my family of 5 to go from ******************** to ******* ****. I booked my tickets on February 23, 2025.The trip was from March 15 to March 31.I paid a total of $4400 for the trip. Before booking my trip I contacted the ************************* in ****** to understand the **** requirements to enter **** and I received the information that I can get the **** on arrival at the airport. On the day of the trip, Qatar airways counter agent refused to board my and my family , despite showing her evidence that we have entry requirements to go to ****. I showed the agent our documents and she still refused to board me and my family, leaving us stranded in the airport. They then put in the system that I was a no show for my flight and charged my a penalty of $3600 to rebook.

      I am filing a formal complaint against Qatar Airways regarding an unfair and deceptive cancellation fee of $400 on my flight booking (PNR: ******).Qatar Airways modified my flight itinerary without my consent, and per their policy, passengers are entitled to a full refund if they choose to cancel due to significant schedule changes. However, the airline conveniently does not disclose that it retains the sole discretion to decide whether a change is "impactful" enough to warrant a refundwithout any clear criteria.Furthermore, when I opted to cancel, Qatar Airways failed to disclose the $400 cancellation fee upfront. I was only informed of the charge after proceeding with the cancellation, leaving me with no opportunity to reconsider. This lack of transparency is misleading and unfair to consumers.Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue directly with Qatar Airways, they have refused to refund the wrongful charge. This practice amounts to unfair business conduct, deceptive fee structures, and a violation of consumer protection laws.I am requesting that your agency investigate this issue and take action to prevent Qatar Airways from engaging in such deceptive practices.       On Feb. 8, I was booked on QR702 from *** to ****. When I arrived to the airport for my flight, the Qatar agents checking bags informed us that our flight was canceled. We received no official info. from Qatar via text, email, etc. The agents told us "The next two flights to **** are already full; go book another flight online yourself and we will reimburse you for this one." We were given a 312 phone # to call that didn't work; I called customer service 3 times for 30 min each with either no answer (twice hung up on) or no offer to help (3rd call, after departure time). I have never, EVER, in over 2 decades of frequent travel, been treated so poorly. The flights to rebook were $1700 compared to the $450 I'd paid-- a loss of almost $1250. It felt like a scam, especially since we'd received no official word from Qatar. Your website listed no updated departure time, either: for 18 hours AFTER departure, you website showed only an updated arrival time of 16 hours late, which wasn't even accurate because we knew from the agents at *** that the flight was actually canceled. Qatar did not list this flight as canceled online until almost 24 hours after the scheduled departure time. Officially, this was canceled 24 hours after departure, though the airline knew at least 3 hours in advance but didn't contact passengers directly at any point. I don't live in ***; my home is in ********. It was costly just for me to get to ***, and it would be costly to get back. I was offered no transportation, no hotel, no food vouchers, no alternative flight. I contacted Qatar customer care several times with no solution; even THEY couldn't see that the flight had been canceled well after the scheduled departure time. Totally chaotic, disorganized, and unprofessional. Complete carelessness and disregard for passengers from Qatar Air.I have included docs of my contacts to customer service, my difference in fares, and Qatar's websites in the hours following departure time.

      I purchased an international Economy Plus ticket from the **** to the *********** through Qatar Airways. This fare was advertised as allowing unlimited trip changes and premium economy seat selection at no additional charge.However, I was unable to select a seat for the longest leg of my journey, as it was operated by *****************. When I contacted Qatar Airways, they told me I had to pay an additional $45 for changes, despite my ticket allowing unlimited modifications. They also said they could not assist with seat selection because it was an ***************** flight. This led to weeks of back-and-forth between the two airlines, with Qatar Airways giving me conflicting answers. Some agents confirmed my seat selection, while others said they had no capability to assign seats on the American flight.I paid an extra $400 for premium seating, only to be told Qatar Airways could not provide it. They advised me to pay an additional $200 to *****************, which I did, but I was still unable to select a seat because the ticket was issued by Qatar Airways. In the end, I paid for premium seating twice without receiving it.Customer service was extremely poor. Representatives were dismissive and unhelpful, and I was repeatedly denied access to a manager. One agent, Moona, was particularly rude and told me to "cancel my flight if I was unhappy" instead of assisting **** am requesting a refund for the difference between the Premium Economy and Standard Economy ticket ($400), as well as reimbursement of the $200 I paid to *****************. Additionally, I expect compensation for the emotional distress and inconvenience caused by Qatar Airways misleading policies and unprofessional service. They should not sell premium seating on partner flights if they cannot guarantee it, and they must improve their customer support to address legitimate concerns.

      I booked a QSuite Business class flight and paid for it with points. I booked more than 4 months in advance. Completely on a whim, I checked my booking about a month and a half before departure and saw that they sneakily changed the aircraft to a non-qsuite aircraft - a significant downgrade! We were not notified. When I called, I was informed that they don't notify passengers until 2 weeks prior to departure. I thought this was odd, as at 2 weeks prior to departure, you are pretty much left with no choices and have to take the sub-par product you paid premium for.But, they assured me that they are rebooking us on a different QSuite flight, and we accepted a flight change 9 days earlier than original flight, which was already crazy, because the other flight was at a peak time and this one wasn't. No concession was made, even though we had to spend money to rearrange our trip. Then 2 weeks prior to our new departure we get a notice that our flight was changed and no longer has QSuites, just like before. This time they offered nothing as an alternative!!! They informed me that this route no longer offers QSuites, and that upon my request to rebook from a different city or even country, it would not be possible to rebook. They even told me I would be charged to cancel! It was basically a bate and switch tactic to fill a sub-par product with premium pricing. At the time of booking, I could have booked on any airline, but are now stranded with no way to leave the country that is not our home country, unless we accept these terms. How is this company number 1? Seems suspicious.
