The $200 Bonus promotional offer if you open a Chase credit card and spend $500 or more within the first 3 months was not given to me. I applied in August then called January because I had not received the offer advertised and was informed I should receive this bonus soon. Then in March I still had not received it so I call again. I’m told the offer does not show my account. I’m obviously upset so they “escalate” the issue and told to call back in a few days. I call back and I’m told I will not be receiving the bonus and instead the offer I received was 1.5% extra applied on purchases. I explained that is not what I had originally seen promoted on their website. They had the audacity to ask for proof of such an offer when it’s still very clearly visible on their website. They’re scammers, liars and cheats. This was false advertising. They should be sued!

At every turn Chase bank has nickeled and dimed our transactions like fees for making change, depositing cash, etc. We pulled all of our banking accounts from them but had leave our mortgage in place. They advertise making double payments like many banks to help pay down your mortgage more quickly but, they don't post your payments until the full payment is met, holding your 1st payment. So there is no paying down more quickly unless you opt for the every 2 weeks which is only effective because there are 26 payments (two weeks) a year instead of 24 (twice monthly).

      This company is dishonest.

I called ahead of time to verify a purchase would be on the pay over time plan.

      Sadly the purchase was not.

I have been denied the transcripts of the recorded conversation without a subpoena.

I continue to receive emails claiming that that purchase could be placed on the pay over time plan.

This is not a company that can be trusted.

I was recently observing escalated fraudulent activity on my account, and Chase has been assisting me with reversing those transactions. The below is a complaint regarding how Chase has handled this matter.

I opened yet another Claim for a fraudulent transaction by the same merchant/transaction category, and the customer service representative who opened this claim was extremely rude.

Firstly; there was a lot of noise in the background when the representative was helping me. It appeared that the representative was talking to someone else in the background, which is why, she kept me on hold (she was unmuted,) for a long time.

Secondly; when I asked the representative about stopping future transactions for this merchant to prevent fraud, the representative informed me that I'll have to pay a $30 service fee to stop transactions. When I politely challenged the $30 service fee, she very rudely & bluntly told me that it must be me who is somehow responsible for these charges, so I should (quoted) "pay the price" for preventing fraud on my account. This is extremely rude, uncourteous, and disrespectful. It appeared that the agent had already made up her mind as the customer (me) being the fraudster in this scenario.

Thirdly; when I requested the representative to transfer me to a supervisor to whom I can discuss this issue, she very rudely & bluntly declined. Further; the representative declined to provide her Last name as well, and only provided her First name, which she quoted as 'Kathryn/Cathryn.'

I've been a Chase customer for over 15 years, and this experience has soured my relationship with Chase. If no satisfactory result comes out of my complaints to Chase, I'll be inclined to close my account with Chase and Bank elsewhere.

ATM didn’t give me my 1000$, took from my account. The bank did not help me with the situation at all. They told me that the atm didn’t malfunction. I asked numerous time could they check the camera but they act like they couldn’t help me. I need my money and I’m faced with a housing issue due to me not getting my money. I need something done immediately.

I recently opened a business account with Chase Bank, but within a week, I began experiencing issues, and my account was ultimately closed without clear explanation.
On February 11 at 4:30 PM, my account was unexpectedly locked with a notice instructing me to contact the company. When I called the provided number, I was asked to supply an excessive amount of personal information over the phone but was given no explanation as to why my account had been locked in the first place.
To resolve the issue, I visited a Chase branch on February 13 at 9:00 AM (when they opened), only to be informed that my account had already been closed. The bank employee assisting me had no knowledge of why my account had been flagged and, after calling the Chase main line, was told that the closure was due to more than 24 hours passing since the initial lock—yet no one had informed me this would happen.
The lack of transparency and poor customer service have been frustrating and disappointing. As a small business owner, I need a reliable banking partner, and unfortunately, Chase has not met that expectation. I will be taking my business to a different bank that prioritizes clearer communication and better support.

I had just opened an account and tried to add money into my account only to find out that they closed my account without telling me and without telling me the reason. I asked for the reason and they said it is confidential. If it is my information I should be able to get the reason and they didn't even want to get me to the person that made that decision. Then the person I spoke with on the phone stated that I cannot open any bank accounts with them ever again. Personally I don't want to ever open an account with them if they are going to close people's accounts and not tell them the reason behind it. They should be held responsible for this.

Zero is too high for this bank they are not military friendly, they are thieves in suits. They love to steal money that doesn’t belong to them and hold it for days and bank the interest. They are backstabbing criminals, who should be in prison. On top of that they hide their crimes under policies and procedures
