      I've not had access to my account for about a week. They updated their app and website, ever since then I've had issues logging in to my account. At first, I was able to get access to my account online only. However, I've now lost the ability to login online. They have been working on the login issue for over a week now and I still don't have access to my money. I've asked them to transfer my money to a different institution and they will not do so until they fix the login issue. A business (mine) cannot not have access to their funds, I need my money. I don't want to wait anymore for them to fix their issue, I just want them to send my money to a different business.

      We opened an online banking account and made a substantial deposit through an ACH deposit. After that the login ceased working. Through a series of emails then a zoom call, the person had no idea what the problem was after trying various new login options. I was informed that they chose not to open my account, after they had my deposit. They claimed their team sent an email regarding such, but there is in fact no email. Now they tell me after two weeks with my money, after review, they will send funds. I have three homes, 3 brokerage accounts, three banks accounts and excellent credit, if they choose their customers in any such a way, that is their ********************** . while failing at reasonable correspondence and also maintaining someone's funds is unaccacctable. Do not open the account and accept funds. I see you have many complaints there and can understand why.

      Nov 1st: I opened a new account for my new second business Nov 19th: I funded my account with a $1,000 from another business account elsewhere. My deposit was confirmed. Nov 19th: I left for vacation Nov 19th and Nov 26th, North One emailed me about additional documentation needed but I never saw those emails until after my vacation. This is a new business for me and a new email.Dec 11th: I saw the emails and immediately responded to the same person about how to send the required documentation. I wanted to send my documentation securely. North One did not respond. I tried to login to my account and it was locked. Dec 11th: I sent an email to the regular customer support email address explaining my issue and no response. Dec 12th: I sent another email to the same North One customer *** and still no response. My account was still locked.Dec 13th: I sent an email to the founder (***** **********) and the regular customer support email and still no response.There is not a working phone to call and the chat feature only works inside of the account which I can't access. I want my money returned and want to close this account permanently.This is unacceptable behavior for a bank.

      My bank said there is nothing "awaiting response".  North One just needs to stop stalling and send my money via ACH. There is nothing needed from my bank as this is a very simple transaction to complete. Attached is my bank's response.

      North One has it legally opened up an account in my name. I have a physical business debit card that prompted me to put in my Social Security number in order to set up a pin. Though I contacted the **********************, they refused to email me back. This is not legal for a company to set up a business and debit business account in your name that requires the qualifications for actually having a business wish I do not and I dont even have a bank account. How dare ********************** participate in criminal activity and not even have a telephone number to reach out. I can prove that I have no response to emails. This company should be closed down indefinitely until they show proof and signatures of every account thats being complained about on here and how it was opened. Somebody needs to do a report on North One from local the news. The *** needs to press criminal charges on a financial company that doesnt even have a telephone number to call. You are a representative to speak to live or AI. Those should be the qualifications for any company to even be able to be open how dare you guys allow this to even go on and bureau that supposed to protect the people?

      I am submitting in behalf of my elderly parent. My father received a debit card in his name at his home mailing address for an account he did not initiate with this organization, and he was not able to speak personally with a live human employee to resolve the matter. My concern is that he is a victim of identity theft and this bank is not conducting due diligence to prevent fraudulent activity.They should be investigated.

      I have never contacted or done business with this company.I am receiving links asking for my private bank account and identity information.I have read the responses to lots of other people being phished by this shady fintech startup and you're full of ****.BBB please review further - there is no way this is a legitimate business that deserves a high BBB rating. Answering complaints with worthless false statements should NOT clear them of ****************** does not have an active phone number and does not reply to digital communications.I cannot find any actual proof that this is a real business providing goods or services to anyone anywhere.There is clearly massive fraud being actively pursued here. Please delist this business immediately.

      I categorically and unequivocally deny that any response by North One has occurred.

      The "response" is a cut-and-paste dismissal unrepresentative of any actual action, concern or contact by North One.

      Insulting, given that my complaint specifically noted this word for word copied response as being problematic and indicative of a company obviously not addressing problems.

      There is no way for me to verify the safety of my identity and information; the crux of this complaint.

      North One has provided no support or path to resolution.

      These are not the actions of a competent, well managed, legally compliant financial institution.

      To BBB: please do better - a high rating for North One is in no way accounting for complaints it clearly has not and does not intend to address.

      Companies cannot justly be freed of responsibility or liability by cutting and pasting the same non-response repeatedly during a clear crisis without resolving the complaints and systematic lack of institutional control.

      I provided this information to North One repeatedly before ever contacting the BBB.

      North One has never answered or attempted to answer any communication attempt on my part.

      North One absolutely refuses to act like a legal business.

      Congrats on avoiding a cut-and-paste response however the effort is completely pointless if you are still REFUSING TO ADDRESS MY STOLEN IDENTITY or even making a cursory effort to perform in a fiduciary manner.

      My complaint remains URGENT,  CRITICAL and UNADDRESSED.

      To BBB: what are you doing? Why is this company allowed to avoid responsibility for actual recorded financial crimes???

      North One send me an email, asking me to verify my email and I have never opened any account with the bank. They're not responding to emails I sent them.

      I received a debit card from NorthOne a week ago. After doing research I saw that my personal information (social security, DOB, name) had all been part of a data breach and that my personal information had been used to open a fraudulent account with **********************. Once I received the debit card I emailed NorthOne informing them of this and requesting that the account be shut down - given that I didn't open the account and it was someone who stole my identity. NorthOne respondent, Namara, would email me vague responses such as you believe "someone may have opened an unauthorized account" and "we have concluded our investigation and taken any appropriate action deemed appropriate." Given this vague language, I was uncertain of 1) whether NorthOne has taken my complaint and request seriously and 2) what exactly is the appropriate action. I asked them for more details regarding their investigation and they stated "due to privacy and security reasons for all parties we cannot give you that information." I am the party that is affected, I was the one who had a fraudulent account opened under his name and that NorthOne allowed to occur because they didn't bother to do a proper security check before allowing these individuals to open an account under my name. I asked them if they could at least tell me if the account has been closed as that is all that matters to me and they still refused to do so. I tried to reach out again and they have since ignored my emails and refuse to answer. They also refuse to schedule a phone call, which is reserved for customers only. I am not a customer but I am someone affected by their poor business practices and they can't give me a phone call or at least tell me if they shut down the account. This bank favors anyone who is looking to open a fraudulent account and does not care about identity theft. All I want to know is if the account is shut down and what other actions were taken as the sole affected party its my right. See emails below.

      If you havent already, we strongly encourage you to contact your current Banks to notify them that your identity may have been compromised. You can contact your local police department in order to receive a police report. North One does work with law enforcement and if a subpoena or other legal documentation is provided, will cooperate.

      At North One, security is our top priority. When a claim of this nature is reported, we promptly review it and take all necessary actions. Regarding the Account in question, typically only Account information is able to be shared with the primary Account owner. However given the situation, I can confirm all appropriate and necessary action have been taken on the Account in question, including a full closure.

      Yesterday, 11/3 I received an email from North One New York stating that I had opened an account with the financial firm and to verify my email address; though I did not open an account with them. Upon reaching out to North One, all they told me 11/4 to "contact your current Banks to notify them that your identity may have been compromised; that you contact your local police department in order to receive a police report"- but no information about how to close, access, or get any information about this account that was NOT verified by me. I've locked my credit reports, am blocking my social security, but would like further help with a resolution regarding this matter. Please advise, Screen shots of emails attached. Thank you.
