1 star9/7/2023 I wrote to Maybelline about a product I bought many of times for years, I basically lost money; it was breaking, it was half gone, it was just half there. Loved it, but, most times, you'd open it up, the tip would fall off like it was melted, you'd go to sharpen it, shouldn't have to right away, I sharpened it, the tip would just continue to slide off the pencil, sharpen it again, be able to use it, half way down the pencil- which is 0.038Z 1.1g, liner went half way down, then nothing. It's made to liner going to the bottom of the pencil. Why I kept buying it, sometimes I did get good ones, so I'd keep giving it another chance, you roll the dice and hope you get something good, it's a ****** like everything anymore!! So, I wrote to them, ********** # ********, I sent all the info back they needed, sent pictures, and all of a sudden, I get nothing, back. All I wanted was to be compensated for only 5 pencils or sent 5 pencils; I know I bought well over that for all the years I have been buying this pencil because it works for me, and wanted, if possible, to get this issue fixed. It is ******* sleek onyx Lasting DRAMA by eyestudio waterproof eye gel pencil. I told them I didn't want to go this way in complaining, was trying to go through them to fix this and make it better for me and everyone else who buys it, but I haven't heard a thing, so, this is where I am at now, where I did not want to be. I would say they will answer you and make it seem as they care, but once you send them the information they need, they don't want to fix the problem. UNREAL! For a name like **********, you'd think they'd care enough about their customers , but no, they don't. So, I'd say, do not buy this product, it's a rip off for sure. You aren't getting your monies worth!! they are "short shipping" but you are paying for the entirety of the product that you aren't getting!Review fromBen G

1 starI recently placed an order through the Skinceuticals website and when I processed payment using ApplePay it automatically changed the shipping address to my old address in ********** (I now live in ***). I called SkinCeuticals immediately after the order was placed and they told me it was impossible to cancel the order or to change the shipping address. They told me that once the package was received by *** I would have the ability to change the address - which was a blatant lie. The package did not ship until 3 days after a placed the order so I still have no idea why they couldnt process a change or cancellation. Ive now lost $45.99 because SkinCeuticals was unwilling to assistReview fromS.

1 starFRAUDULENT. I returned an item within the started return policy guidelines. I was told I'd receive a refund, but to wait 30 days. It's now been over 30 days, and still no refund. Conveniently, the email that acknowledged receipt of my return and promised my pending refund, had a "contact us" link if there are any issues... and it is a broken link. And then, if you try to chat with their customer service team, they use the "Agent is typing..." notification to make you think there is someone else on the other side of the conversation, and then they just never show up.I am still waiting for my refund. This company needs to be investigated.Review fromPatricia C

1 starLancome customer service is horrible! I had the worst purchase experice recently! I placed one order online 2 days ago. Right after the order was placed, I realized that the address was our old one and we have already moved to another state.I was not able to change the delivery address or cancel the order by ourself online. I then immediately contacted Lancme customer service and I was informed that once the order was placed, it can't be cancelled and the shipping address can't be changed either. This is unacceptable and I have never had such purchasing experience before with any other company. There were then a few communications bewteen us and I was told in one email to register for *** MY Choice so that we can change the delivery address. However, we spent a few hours trying to change the delivery address online with ***, but there was not that option under the tracking package. Then I called *** and they told me the reason for this was because lancome, the sender, didn't provied this option. In another email from Lancme they told me to file a claim with the carrier after it is delivered. However, this just doesn't make any sense. What if the package is stolen by other people after it is delivered. What's more, here are the options *** provide for us to select: This package is lost, this package is damaged, collect on delivery was not paid. Which one should I select??????? I called Lancme customer service again this morning around 9:50, the operator who spoke with me was so rude and irresponsible, she said she has no work number and no name! she will not do anything to help. just told me to contact ***, but the *** told me to contact Lancome!!!!! So, I was charged around $300 and get nothing!!!! I don't know who I can ask for help........Review fromCheryl D

1 starMISLEADING MARKETING FOR ****: On April 19, 2023, I went to CVS to purchase hair color. They were out of my normal hair color, so I was looking at other brands. The **** box showed the promotion "Try **** on **!" and had a code to scan for a rebate. I purchased the **** box, then scanned the code when I returned home. Unfortunatley, a message appeared saying "Sorry, this promotion ended on December 31, 2022." There was no expiration date indicated on the box. This campaign was very misleading. I complained on the ******* website and recieved a check for my purchase, but will not buy any other ******* products in the future.Review fromEvelyn D

1 starI placed an order of Pureology products on 4/18/23. The tracking says it was delivered on 4/25/23 yet I did not have the product. I contacted customer service via chat on 4/25/23 to investigate. They said it was damaged in transit so delivered back to their warehouse. I inquired about receiving a new product and they told me that I would not be sent a new product because it was not policy and policy was instead to to refund me in 3-5 business days. It is now May 8, 2023 (3 weeks from when the order was placed, 2 weeks from when they received it at their warehouse) and I have yet to be refunded. I have been in contact with several customer service representatives since then who assured me my refund has been expedited. As of Weds 5/3/23 I was told I must allow **** business days from the day I inquired for a 3rd time (which was Mon 5/1). I was never in possession of this product and was not the one who sent it back. They have been holding my money for weeks. All they have since offered is a 30% off coupon. Meanwhile I have accrued finance charges on the credit card I used due to this not being resolved in a timely manner. I have been a long time user of Pureology but this experience alone has turned me to seek other products. I have urged family and friends to do the same. This is shameful policies and customer service.Review fromMarquita P

1 starLancome's customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. I bought 2 ADVANCED GNIFIQUE FACE SERUMs from the buy 1 get 1 free promotion. I checked the product's code 40T102 and many cosmetic check tools showed that the manufacturing date is January 2020, out of the 3-year shelf life. In my follow-up emails with Lancome's customer service team, they continue to ignore my problems, even though I have listed many different questions and provided evidence that the products I received are past their shelf life. I have repeatedly asked them to escalate my complaint to their supervisor who can actually solve problems. However, their customer service continues to exhibit a contemptuous attitude towards customers, simply repeating the return and refund option. It seems their customer service strategy is to ignore customer requirements and complaints, and instead focus on making the customer lose patience, without actually solving problems, and then close the complaint ticket. They don't cooperate with the warehouse team, nor are they genuinely hired to help customers, as the information they provide can already be found on the website's FAQs.They sold you out-of-shelf life products, and the only solution they offer is to spend more time and money for a refund. You need to: 1) find a box (if you don't usually keep boxes, you might have to pay for one), 2) pack the items carefully (they didn't answer on how they handle item damage during the transition, but I believe you may end up losing both the products and your money, so you may need to spend extra on protective bubble wrap), 3) go to the store to return the items at your own expense for travel and time, 4) go back home, 5) wait for delivery, 6) hope that the products arrive undamaged and get processed by the warehouse, 7) wait for the refund process, and finally 8) receive the refund. Why should a customer who received expired products have to do all these steps just to get what they should have gotten initially?
