      I have made four separate calls trying to be reimbursed through Trip Guard and during each call, I have been given different information regarding the same situation. I am confident that if I were to call again, I would receive a different answer. At this point, I'm not even sure the last answer was the correct one, but I guess I will never know given the inconsistencies in the company's responses.

      **** marketed a $400 statement credit associated with the purchase of a $2000 or more airfare with AirEuropa with the principal term being that the flight originated in *******. I used the **** app to book the flight which cost $2700 and originated in ***** and **** did not honor the offer alleging that the merchant (Air Europa) identified that the charge for the flight was some how processed in ****** even though the flight was booked from ******* and the flight originates from *******.**** has taken no actions to fulfill the terms of the offer. ****'s offer constituted a fraudulent inducement to purchase the airfare in question and customers should beware of any advertised **** offer as **** does not honor the offers even when **** houses all relevant information to reflect that the conditions of the offer have been satisfied.

      American Express credit cards are scam . They illegally charged $100 to my account when i complained to their rude and unprofessional customer service, they charged $50 more next month.... be aware of American Express .....

      Would not be using American Express ever again. Have been with them for 7 years. Very unprofessional service. Reps passing calls to other reps. *** like they dont know what to say during calls. Every rep saying something different. Would not recommend service with this company ever again. Customers who have been with company for years mean nothing to them at all. Just a number to them. Hope people cancel with them and go with someone else.

      This company is a sham: once they have collected your cash (for a prepaid card), your SS number, your DOB, address and your card at another bank, they lock your account and run with it.

      I have lost my patience with you guys, I called last Saturday to add an Authorized user, then I was required to have a RSVP code, (Not Provided) I spent almost a full hour with a chat agent that failed to help me after repeating the same questions over & over, your customer service is a failure

      I applied for an AMEX personal checking account on the evening of 8 February. I had my credit report locked so I anticipated that I would not received an instant approval. The next day, i called AMEX personal checking and temporarily open my credit report so that the individual could see it. Once that was done, I was told that I was approved and I would receive a welcome e-mail. That was 9 February 2023. I am still waiting on such e-mail today. I was told all kinds of story from they did not received my application to they do not know why I have not received anything to now, it is a IT glitch and I can expected it any day now. I got that response on 17 February. Then I spoke to a "*****" on 21 February 2023. She stated that they are still working the IT glitch. At least she did not give me a date. Then 1 March, I got a call from "****" and needless to say that she did not have the best attitude. All she ask me was to verify my address. So, my checking account has been held up all this time over an address? She did not respond. The she said that I should hear something in 5 to 7 business days. So, here we go again. Today is 6 March 2023 and I am still waiting.

      Im a platinum card holder and was given a $500 gift card by my boss. The card was never activated and someone spoofed the number draining the card of all but $0.20. I called Amex in Feb 2023 and they told me I had to pursue the fraud on my own. Amex makes a great deal of noise about how theyre all about helping their customers. That has never been my experience. I just tell everyone now how Amex doesnt help anyone but themselves, to your money and how rude their **************** Rep was.

      In October of ******************************************************************************************************************************************** December of 2022 the new increase would not affect us until Dec 2023. We decided to keep the current card instead of making a change since our annual fee would not change this year. We were charged the new amount and called customer service. They assured us this was an error and would send the info off so that it could be corrected. The case was closed with no info given to us. After more calls and more "the case is closed and no credit would be given, we reached out on ******** In the end, they said that they were sorry that several agents gave us the wrong information, but that there would be no adjustments made. They apologized for the inconvenience that it caused us. That inconvenience cost us $200. They admitted they were in error (in writing) but they weren't going to change the fee. Can't wait to be done with this company. There have also been some other issues with the card (interest being charged when we had an interest free promotion) - those were taken care of. But no one could tell me why it was happening and I'm tired of needing to call each month to have the charges reversed.

      Opened an Platinum account with Amex and they cheated, sent offer for ******* points and offered only ******. After multiple attempts for 4 months after account opening they decided to not give me the remaining bonus points.
