      I got scammed by some people pretending to be ***** Car Rental Company and they were very convincing. They took my drivers license information and they told me their machine was down from accepting certain cards, like bank cards. It never crossed my mind that I was being scammed because they are listed under ***** on the internet and when I called there, they answered as ***** Car Rental, they pulled up the location in Latham NY, where I would be picking up the car when I got off of work. They took all my information, like a car rental would do. As I am finishing up the call with the fake ***** Car Rental, this is when they throw in their machine is down and they can only take American Express Cards. I go buy the BLUEBIRD AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD AND SERVE CARD, I call the company for them to block the money on the card because it was a scam. Those Card Companies had me register the cards before they could track the FRAUD. Then they send you a form through email, you complete the form, send it back. They told me they have 45 days to wait for them to complete my FRAUD INVESTIGATION. BLUEBIRD AMERICAN EXPRESS sends me an email, stating there is no Fraud. I sent these companies my DMV license, I sent them the receipts for purchasing the cards and copies of the card. If they did a proper Fraud Investigation, they would have found the people who committed Fraud, clearly they didn't.. I had to resubmit the same paper work for them to do another Fraud Investigation and I have to wait another 45 days for the investigation. SERVE SUSPENDED the account and no one can tell me anything but send information, a letter to ** *** *** ******* ** *****. I already sent both companies drivers license and receipts and copies of the cards, and they have the original paper called DECLARATION OF FRAUD, BUT NOW i NEED TO SEND THEM A LETTER, WHICH I DID AND i SENT IT CERTIFIED TO BE SIGNED UPON ARRIVAL. This was 2 weeks ago and no one from their company can tell me anything.. SERVE/BLUEBIRD

      I am an American express card holder. I recently tried to book a round trip flight from American express travel website, the total came up to like $954 and some change, then decided to use the carrier website, to my surprise the price was $102 less exactly a little over $852. I just realized that American express is making money out of their customers. Just heads up everyone do not use American express travel website. What pains me most is my credit card with them carries an hearty annual fee.

      I had American Express for 4 months. I paid by mail in. They have a very poor billing department in *** ******. I had to mail a check in
      that was almost late because I never got a paper bill. My second payment was lost and they told me it was the postal service. I was ready to cancel the check and write a new one. But a few days before the billing cycle they found he missing check. Then the next payment I got a paper bill. I sent a check then when I did not see the payment they told me the same story of no receiving the payment. So I switched to auto withdraw from my bank account. They took the money out an a few later cashed the lost check. I payed double!! So I called to have them send a refund. After the refund I called and had the card turned off. I thought it was over with them till I get an email of being charged $250 for early cancelation!! I was never told at cancellation of this charge. The agreement in the card bi- laws was I would get charged. So I am stuck paying back the so called rewards!! Never ever sign up for America Express cards!! And not everyone takes them. My cell phone company won't because they are the highest file charges.

      I'M CARRYING AMERICAN EXPRESS FROM FEBRUARY 1989!ALL ON A SUDDEN MY BUSINESS PLATINUM CARD ENDING IN ***** WAS CANCELLED!THIS CARD WAS A FRAUDULENT MARKETTING CAMPAIGN! I HAD TO PAY $ ****** IN JANUARY 2022 TO GET THAT CARD!I WANT MY MONEY BACK FIRST!

      I paid my account in total and had a zero balance. However, four days later, I received a charge of $42.92 (interest). How do you charge a customer interest charges on a zero balance? American Express is fleecing its customers with hidden charges. The company is taking advantage of people who are not financially savvy and robbing them; Please note that after you pay your balance in full, you will still receive a bill. American Express has millions of customers. Can you imagine how much money they are profiting from scamming customers with the tactic I mentioned earlier? I can't wait until someone ask me to join in on a class action suit against American Express.

      This company gives you a run around when trying to replace a gift card. They told me the card was not activated at the store. The store followed up on the transaction and yes the card was activated at time of purchase. I sent in all the required papers was told it would be resolved in 3 business days. In 3 days it will be 3 weeks. ***************** transfered to a supervisor the supervisor did not help in any way, ask to talk to manager, she said I can transfer but they will tell you the same thing I'm telling you. 4 hours on the phone today, was told again wait 2 days still making a 3 day decision. This makes the 6-8 time I have called after being told each time wait 2 days. Sorry Company!

      Just the worst customer service. I received a mailer that I was eligible for an upgrade to a Platinum Card. I had two separate conversations where the customer service person stated that I was approved for the upgrade and the membership rewards points. I waited and waited for the card, but it never came. I called back and was told that an investigation would ***********-8 weeks! I have an 800+ credit score and have had an AMEX Gold for over 10 years. I will never deal with AMEX again. I plan on spending my points and canceling the Gold card.

      I just purchased the gold card this year. I want my $250 back. This cards rewards are pathetic. Appealing to have a $10 monthly credit to ******** but everything is so marked up (not just delivery, pick up as well) the card is useless. I wish I never spent the money for the rewards, I am not satisfied at all. Save your money and avoid American Express

      They charge a massive fee and are deceptive. Their site and customer service claim there is no pre-set spending limit which does not mean funds are available. The funds available fluctuate every 48 hours so you can't rely on being able to use them for your business. The wording is deceptive and you could pay a 600-dollar fee to get the card just to have **** to use on it one week and **** the next week. I don't know what happened to this company but do not rely on them.

      Been a member for more than 5yrs now. With no updates they just canceled my card without noticing me. I had to call them to confirm if my card is canceled. they can have it. Bad communications.
