      Ref Delta Card Nos. ending ***** and ***** I close both of my above accounts on 7/29/2021.Then I received another email from on 8/24/21 that American Express reopen both accounts again put the new cancellation status update and close again without my permission to reopen the account after 7/29/2021. They put remarks that I will not be eligible for future amex products due to some welcome bonus violation which I have no clue and close again on 8/24/21. This I found violation of terms and rule of American Express how can both the cards can be reopen without my permission after I close on 7/29/2021 put the cancellation update and close again on 8/24/2021.American Express should not be allowed to reopen accounts without permission from customers and start putting cancellation update and close again. There should be some rule for them not to do it.

      This is just another corporate company trying to find ways to scam the consumer. The **** company cares nothing about its customers, customer service is absolutely horrible, and basically as a consumer you are at their mercy and forced to comply. When you ask questions about statements, rewards, etc, they send you around in circles with answers that do no make any sense. Do your research and DO NOT GET THIS CARD!

      This company oversaw a dispute with a merchant for $2547.00 worth of charges. The dispute was recently reopened on September 21, 2022 with me receiving correspondence on September 24, 2022 that the dispute is now closed. I was told by an American Express representative on September 25, 2022 that they reached out to the merchant in email correspondence. When I asked the American Express representative to provide me with the email correspondence sent to the merchant requesting the refund amount. The correspondence could not be provided. The sad thing is that these charges were made to my credit card last year in September 2021 and were paid in full. Now, there is a $2547.00 charge that is now my financial obligation. As an active duty uniform service officer that serves this country dutifully. I must add that I am beyond disappointed in the treatment that I have received from this company. To add, I am letting it be known that I will be filing a complaint with the **************************** of the *********** of the Currency.

      I have never been more disappointed in a company. I was told, while booking travel via phone, that my flight credit would apply to my trip. Three months later, the flight credit has still not been applied and I am owed around $1,000.00. I have spoken to 7 supervisors and the case is still not resolved.

      I lost my card. I called up to get a replacement card. They will not even put me on a phone call with a human being without knowing my card number. I don't know my card number, because I lost my card and I don't have any other record of my card number. This is insanity. Then I come here to BBB and I see they are rated 1.07/5 stars, and still have an A+ rating?!?!?! How do you get an A+ with about the lowest rating imaginable. BBB should reduce the rating until amex gets their ratings up. I used to love amex because I could always talk to a person, now they've gone in absolutely the opposite direction. I work in the restaurant industry and I know amex charges the highest margins of all credit card companies, they have no excuse for such poor customer service. They make plenty of money to afford customer service and even **** and mastercard can accept lost card requests without requiring a card number. Please amex fix your phone system, and send me a new card for god's sake.

      This is a scam and their representatives are uneducated people with limited to no information regarding the company! I was GIVEN a $100 gift card by **** *******. There was no additional information provided with the card. The card literally says there are NO transaction fees for use of the card. It only states there is a fee for not using the card. I went to dinner and authorized use of $50 or half the amount of the card. The next night I went to dinner to use the other half and authorized the amount of $50. It DECLINED! How does that make sense ?!?! I called in and the rep actually said to me the information regarding the additional fees is NOT on their website and the only way for me to learn this information is to call in and speak with them! How does THIS make sense! I asked to speak to a supv and she gave me a list of places that charge transaction fees to ensure their is enough funds to cover the original transaction amount. This is illogical. If I do not have enough to cover the original amount, how would I have enough to cover the additional fee?!?!?! Further, if I was to use the full amount of the card at one time, then how would that work with this undisclosed fee?! I tried to call back to ask that question and no one would answer my call ! I absolutely feel now that **** ******* and American Express are in cohots together to take advantage of their customers. I am most dissatisfied with American Express **************** and the lies they promote!

      Company told me I am not eligible to receive a welcome bonus for one of their personal credit cards. They said its because I dont have any personal cards with them. How are new customers not allowed to take the new customer offer? I have their business cards and haven't had issues.

      I purchased 2 ************ cards in the amount of $500.00 each on different days. The 1st one stated it needed to be activated and to bring it back to the store. Of course the stores tell me to they can not help and to contact AMEX! So I purchased another 2 days later for my son, and this one was used somewhere between my purchasing it and driving home! I called their 'lack of Customer Svcs' explained what happened & How there No forms to fill out for Fraud. ** the guy I spoke to, stated I needed to c/b today, 9/11/22 and I can have one card credited & a refund check for $500.00 ea. Called this am, and s/w rep who was rude, and in a foreign country that I could not understand. Upon connecting me to '*****' so called Manager - ******************* up on me and acted like she could not hear me! Next rep was just as Rude as ***** - she stated they can't help me - it's up to the Merchant. When I asked her to spell her name she stuck me on hold, then Disconnected the call! I worked for ** & ******** can guarantee you I would have been Fired on the spot! Get Americans or people that speak English when needed and know what they are say. I am sending complaint to Headquarters. Company Scams to get money!

      I have an American Express. I upgraded to a different card they told me that I was going to get a incentive but never got nothing also incentive for adding another person to my account never got anything. I regretted. Even having a card from Amex. They a bunch a bolony. But when they. Have to charge you for interest. No body can fight. Not recommend. Stay away from Amex.

      Just noticed today that AMEX removed the balance due from the bill stub - they just include the minimum payment. That will certainly confuse people and drum up fees for AMEX. Deceptive practice AMEX!
