1 starVERY disappointed with this office. ************* was recommended for the Aviclear procedure. This procedure is suppose to work as an alternative to accutane without the side effects. My son has suffered from horrible acne all through his teens. We were extremely excited to hear about this option as a safer alternative. After plucking down $4000 out of pocket, the three sessions did nothing but make my sons acne worse. No office should be selling this service. It is costly and doesnt work. Not only did it not work but it was extremely painful (which no one tells you). The doctors recommemdation after what she called a failure was to do accutane. Why did I spend $4000 when I could have had my son do accutane without trying this???? I will never go back here and think that aviclear should be band. Really upset that so much money was spent and my son has had to deal with the emotional and physical pain. Dont waste your time. False advertising.Review fromBob G

1 starI made an appointment for a laser treatment. I asked to skip the consult since it was a far drive, and we had discussed setting one up online. They ended up cancelling that online appointment to do a consult, in favor of having me come in to do it all in the same appointment, along with another treatment I was seeking. I called in the morning and all seemed to still be on track with no issues. I showed up, and guess what?? No treatments, consult only, and we can't help you with the medical treatment that you also described. I took time off work, drove a long distance, only to have these turn out to be LIES. 1 starThis practice has turned into such a disgusting mess. Ive gone to the ************* for over fifteen years for twice a year skin checks. Unfortunately, they have a problem retaining staff so its always been a different physician assistant (who have always been wonderful and given me thorough skin checks). Well, last week I had the misfortune of booking a skin check appointment at the ********** office with a PA. For starters, the exam room was extremely small and smelled awful. That was just the beginning. The PA that I saw was awful. Never in my life was I told to lay down for a full body skin check. She was totally inappropriate (and I really dont care thats shes been there for 15 years). The entire exam was very i comfortable. The assistant she had in the room with us was trying to wipe lipstick off of my mouth with an alcohol wipe, while I was laying on my stomach, after I told the PA I wanted her to check something on my bottom lip. She didnt even ask me if she could do it. I grabbed the wipe from her and did it myself. Then, when I asked about the lines under my eyes, the PA assured me a ****** peel would do the job. She also looked at my jawline and told me Botox would slim my face ??. If the awful filler in her own face was any indication of how Id look, Ill pass. The only thing worse than this half-a@@ full body exam was the PAs awful, overbearingly cloying perfume. This place is disgustingReview fromJoy c

This establishment is a chop shop booking as many as possible and does NOT care about the individuals needs, which is evident by the high volume of people waiting in the waiting rooms. I paid for a service. It has been well over a month and the hyperplasia is still there. My visit was very rushed. I am not exaggerating when I say I do not think Ms. **** spent more than 3 minutes in the room. I followed instructions of keeping clean, yet days after one of the bumps became infected. I made a virtual appt with another provider within Schweiger and she prescribed antibiotics. I also shared with her my dissatisfaction with my visit. I can not and will not in good conscience recommend any of my family or friends to your establishment.Schweiger Dermatology Group, LLC

1 starI have been trying to pay a bill from a visit on 1/18/2022. The initial statement incorrectly billed me as a new patient. My insurance correctly processed the incorrect bill on 1/26/2022. I called Schweiger and told them about their error. I was told that it would be sent for research. I received the exact same bill so I called and told them the month of my previous visit and was again told that the bill would be sent to "research". I got the same bill again so called and gave my previous three visits and the same thing occurred. I believe on my 4th try, (with the exact dates on my previous 3 visits) the same thing happened but was advised to call "escalations" if I got the same bill again. The 5th time was not the charm so I called escalations and was asked if I had those previous 3 EOB's, which I did, and if I could fax them to Schweiger. This time I got a bill as an established patient but my insurance provider recognized the same date, patient, physician and office and rejected the duplicate submission. 5 more repeats with escalations but no one seemed to recognize that when the bill was for 250, I owed ****** but when the bill was for 195, I (supposedly) owed the full 195. I turned 65 while all of this transpired so Schweiger tried their luck with ******** which did not work. The most recent suggestion was for me to call my insurance provider from the original date but I am not sure why Schweiger's mistake is now my problem. Also, I cannot explain why Schweiger does not provide their employees with the tools to do their jobs or the training. Every one I spoke to was polite and professional with one exception (whose name I omit) who was clearly reading from a script and got frustrated and belligerent when I questioned him. I spoke to *****, ********, *****, ******** (2x), ******, ******* and maybe a couple others. I am now retired but based on my last rate of pay, Schweiger owes me a heck of a lot more than both bills. 1 starI have been to other Schweiger dermatology locations I usually go to the one in ******, and they are wonderful there. I just Idecided to go to the one in Hillsborough to get some juvderm when I arrived to the place nobody knew what they were doing or even answer my questions I finally went to see the doctor, and she told me that I would benefit from juvderm, and I agreed the doctor administrated half the syringe in my face and then told me that I could keep the other half in their fridge to six months to a year and I was fine with that the next day I called the office coordinator because I never received an itemized bill and on what I was charged and I asked her about my syringe, and she informed me that a syringe was only good for two weeks I questioned her and said why would I need additional juvderm in my face in two weeks? The doctor told me it was good up to six months to a year. I also didnt realize how many complaints this place had against them on the Better Business Bureau. I guess I learn my ****** and will never go back to this place.Review fromBonni L

1 starIf the filthy looking office doesn't say enough....they keep sending me a bill for $200. The treatment my son had was $3000. The first $200 was taken as a non-refundable deposit at the time that I made the consultation appointment, which was to be applied to the treatment if we chose to have it. We chose to have it (didn't work but whatever). We paid the remaining $2800 at the time of the first visit for the treatment. Now, 6 months later ,we are getting billed $200. I called and told them they made a mistake. Got another bill. Called again- they finally sent me the link so that I could submit proof of payment. Did that. Just got an email telling me the balance is for the February visit. UM NO HONEY! I just sent them proof of payment for the $3000 total and then called the actual doctor's ******* The doctor's scheduler told me it was HER mistake and that my $200 was not applied. SO- they knew they made an error and MADE UP a date of service that the charge was for!!! STAY AWAY- The practice is as scuzzy as it looks.....Review fromHenry M

The office lacks professionalism: During a phone call to schedule an appointment, I was assured that my visit would be covered by insurance. However, upon arriving at the office, the administrative staff informed me that the visit would not be covered by insurance and I would have to pay out-of-pocket. Despite making the payment, they also submitted a bill to my insurance. I find this contradictory if they had confirmed it wouldn't be covered, why bill my insurance? This situation resulted in them receiving payment both from me and my insurance company. I reached out to the billing department, and they claimed not to have received any payment. Although the insurance company provided evidence of payment and the check being cashed, I'm still waiting for reimbursement. It's important to exercise caution when dealing with this establishment. Furthermore, my consultation with the physician assistant lasted less than 5 minutes and yielded no beneficial outcomes.Schweiger Dermatology Group, LLC

1 starInefficient, will mess up your appointment time, after you've waited for months to see a real doctor, didn't get biopsy results, then saw carcinoma listed in my records. Then all the old records mysteriously disappeared. Run don't walk to a real doctor. This place is a three ring circus operating without a safety net.
