Complete scam! My group was given a wristband and nothing else that was advertised was given. They promised 2-3 free drinks per person, VIP entrance to their partner clubs and an afterparty and we received nothing. When we showed the wristbands and explained we were part of the pub crawl, we were told to get in the regular line and no VIP access would be provided.Business Response

I bought tickets to two pub crawls happening this weekend through eventbrite. One was supposed to be this Friday night 10/25/24 and the other the next night (Saturday 10/26)The host moved the Friday night one to Saturday night (Why two pub crawls in one night in the same small city I have no idea. It doesn't even make sense. This isn't NYC or ATL). Obviously I cannot be in two places at once, so I emailed and asked since this was THEIR change to the schedule, I'd like a refund. ********** said they could only refund if the event is canceled, so I had to go throught the host pubcrawl.com.I got an email asking what city and date (which I had already told them that info in my original email). I gave them the info again and that was 5 days ago. I haven't heard from them again and now no one will answer my emails.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:They basically contacted you guys, asked me to send another email just to tell me that they won't be refunding me??? What is that???
I get "no refunds" but THEY are the ones who changed it to a date I can't go because THEY were having another crawl I had already bought tickets to on the same day. I don't want credit for another crawl. What if I get another crawl and they decide to change the dates again? Will I just be out of luck again? I just want the refund for the event YOU canceled!!!
I will no longer be buying tickets to crawls and I have let others know what happened and they said they won't be going either if they can just steal people's money like this

You're just sending the exact same email over and over again at this point. It's clear no one is reading these emails and they have some sort of automated reply set up. I will not be wasting my time responding to anymore of these messages. Crawl With Us will not get any more money from me ever again. I will just take this as yet another ****** in dealing with dishonest businesses and move on with my life. Thanks for nothing.

I attended the Halloween Pub Crawl in ******* "organized" by pubcrawls.com on Sat Oct 19th 2024 with 2 friends.The "hosts" of the event told us they didn't even know what this event was and didn't know what they were supposed to do to check us in. We couldn't find the list of bars at the start of the night because whatever qr code we were supposed to be given at the start of the night wasn't at check-in. My friend called pubcrawls, and they gave her the cell phone number of the Seattle lead, who proceeded to text her a photo of a phone with the qr code on it. We got that information before the check-in people even did. Then, as said before, most of the bars listed weren't even participating in this event.All the bars except for 2 that were listed as a part of this bar crawl said they never agreed to participate in this weekend crawl. It was advertised we would have 4+ venues to attend, all with discounted and/or specialty drinks for this crawl.This was either an absolute scam or the most poorly ran event I've ever attended. I want my money back for the 3 tickets I bought for this event.Business Response

My friends and I purchased a 4-pack of pub crawl tickets on 10/3 for the 10/19 Halloween event in *****. We had seen advertisement in several places online that recommended dressing up and mentioned a social media costume contest with a cash prize. When we showed up for the event we found that there was no organization or real event. The event advertised with claims of local bars participating and offering food and drink discounts and specials. Of the 5 participating locations, 3 didnt even know the event was happening! We never saw any food specials and the drink specials at each location were the typical specials that any person who walked in could get so there was no point in having the wristband for the event.Business Response

This problem happened on 12/31/23. New Years Eve *** Crawl - Scottsdale Sun, Dec 31, 5:00 PM MST Order #********** of ($30.64) purchased on Sun, Dec 31, 8:02 PM An email was sent to one of the business the actual vendor couldnt be reached however no resolution was made. I was scammed out of money. I went to my email followed the steps to what Eventbrite told me to do to get a refund log in and go to the website and it shows me I am ineligible for a refund with no way to contact the vendor. I am either asking for a refund or a way to physically be able to talk to the vendor who sells these tickets to be able to get refunded for a fake event that never existed.Initial Complaint

On March 11th I purchased 2 tickets to the ****************** Crawl for St. Patricks day. The day of the event no one ever checked our tickets or gave us the items we were to receive for being one of the first so many people at the event. I bought two bar crawl tickets for St. *******'s day. It listed four participating bars. However, when I went to the named bars, they informed me that my tickets were a scam and that they never consented to participate in the bar crawl. I purchased 4 tickets on 3/11/24 for the St. Patricks day pub crawl on 3/17/24, which was supposed to begin at 1:00pm. We arrived at the bar on our ticket at 1:15pm and were told they had no idea this was going on today, but they called the event person, and they are on the way with the tickets. The person handing out the tickets also seemed to have no idea what was going on when they finally arrived and told us to just scan the ** codes for more information. None of the bars on the crawl map had any idea about this happening. We were given drink tickets with our wrist bands, but the bars were not willing to participate, so of course none of the special discounts on food and drinks were honored either. All we received for our money was a paper wrist band that said pubcrawls.com and worthless "drink" tickets. This is a very elaborate scam. I wish I had looked around the internet more before purchasing tickets, as it seems to be countrywide.Customer Answer

I purchased tickets to a ******* St. Patricks Day bar crawl that is a complete scam. The bars in ******* have no affiliation to Pubcrawls.com and have confirmed this event does not exist. I called the phone number on the website and was put in contact with unprofessional teenage boys. I expect a full refund for the false advertisement of this event.
