My wife ordered a Brooklyn Large Logo and pebbled leather tote bag (SKU: ********), order number **********, from Michael Kors on 08/12/2022 in the amount of $598.45. She received the bag on 08/16/2022 and immediately returned it because she didn't like it. We waited 10 days before making contact with Michael Kors concerning the status of the refund. I called Michael Kors and spoke with *** who informed me that the refund had been processed on 08/24/2022. She told me she would "escalate" the claim to ensure the full amount was refunded. She also stated it would take 3 to 5 days to show up on the credit card. I called back again on 09/01/2022 because no refund had been issued. I spoke with ******* who informed me that due to the holiday weekend (Labor Day), 5 days had not yet expired. She also verified the claim had been escalated and that it will take an additional 3 to 5 days to post. I called again on 09/06/2022 and spoke with ******* who reiterated what ******* told me. Having waited until today, 09/09/2022, I called again and spoke with ********* who offered to have the refund processed in the form of a check. I elected this form of reimbursement since getting the refund applied to the card used for the purchase seems beyond Michael Kors capability. I'm submitting this complaint because I do not trust that Michael Kors will actually process the refund. At no time during this protracted process did we receive any correspondence from Michael Kors indicating receipt of the returned item or the processing of the refund.Customer Answer

I returned some items in January. I have yet to receive my refund. I call them about once a month and they tell me my issue is being " escalated " and someone will call me. It has been 9 months of me calling them and doing live chats with them with no resolution. The problem started because I paid with a debit card and had to get a new one and for some reason they said they were unable to do my return. I requested a check to be mailed to my house or even a gift card with my return balance on it, but 9 months later I haven't gotten any where with them. I have screen grabs from a live chat. The order # is **********, Please find the attached all the documents to show I have returned MK products, receipt, and tried all the ways to get my money back. Unfortunately, all failed. I am still working and waiting MK response.I would like to report an incidence where I returned a product but did not receive a refund from the company Michael Kors. I returned a pair of shoes ($257.64) on July 9, 2022, however, have yet to receive the money as of today. I have contacted MK so many times using each of the contact information provided on their website including online chat, email and telephone to both the ******** and US line. I reached out to MK on several occasions: July 25, Aug 7, Aug 12, and Aug 19. Aug.31. Each time, I was met with the same response: "please wait 2-5 business days", "we will call you back", etc. This has lasted for more than two months now, way exceeding their stated policy of returning customer's money within several business days.The initial reason that was given to me for the delay in return was due to issues with my credit card, but after I explained that other stores have successfully returned money to my credit card, I am simply provided with no reason. I have asked to contact a supervisor or manager *********************** she mentioned to look at the issue, and call me back, unfortunately, both of them haven't call me back yet.Can BBB provide some assistance as to what to do? I purchased 2 purses from **** and after carrying the purse for over a year the thread start to shed everywhere on both purse I own four in total but two of them are shedding I believe the sold me defected bags they will not take the purses back they told me to send them off to another company and pay which I feel is unfair please help me get a refund thanks in advance ******************************* **********Initial Complaint

On 7/29 I contacted customer service due to my purse only being 5 months old and it started to tear in different places. They emailed me the form to fill out to ************** in so I did. They arrived the purse on 8/9 and as of today I have no update. Every time I call they say that it is in the warehouse and there is no update. I did not realize it takes 20 days for someone to check in an item into receiving. I called again today 8/29 and she stated they send an "escalation" on 825 and I have to wait 3-5 business days for a response if not call them back. This is ridiculous, I myself work for a multi-million dollar company and we provide better service then this!Initial Complaint

I had placed an order with them on May 2, 2022. It says shipped on May 3,2022. I waited unti May 6 to email them and let them know that I didn't receive my order even tho I paid for next day. And then I also sent another email a couple days later letting them know I still haven't received it. They told me they were going to consider it lost in transit and full refund me of a total amount of $679.09. It is now august 23, 2022 and the only emails I keep getting is allow them more time. I really need help getting my money back as that's a lot of money. It was suppose to be a gift for my mom but we never received it and now I'm still out money.Customer Answer

On July 5 and $800 charge was made to my account by Michael ****** for a gift card from them. I filed a complaint with the bank and they found out that my email address and the three digit security code was used so to them they cant do anything about it. I spent four hours straight trying to talk to the people at Michael Kors I talked to three supervisors and plenty of lower people and nobody knows nothing about to gift card but they dont know what it was used to purchase or what date it was placed. And by the end it seems like all I was getting was the run around. and I was told I was out $800. Who is in charge of running his business they will be fired. But if you can help me out it would really help because Im on a fixed income and $800 hurts my mortgage. I purchased a couple of bags for my mom and had them shipped to her house. We never received the goods. Contacted Michael KORS right away and was told that they would get back to me. This was on June 11. I have contacted them regularly and have been waiting for them to resolve this. I think it is absolutely unfair that they have charged me for goods that were never delivered. I would like them to provide a refund right away. I was expecting them to replace the lost items but now I dont want to do any business with them.Customer Answer

I returned an item and received a gift card in return. The gift card has a $0 balance on it when attempting to use it for the first time to place an order. For some reason, an item in my cart created an order that appears to be stuck in limbo. Order number mg******** needs to be canceled. I have attempted to ask customer service multiple times to cancel that order and resolve the $0 balance gift card. I was informed multiple times to wait 5-7 days, then provide additional time for it to auto cancel. **************** also said there was a hold placed on my gift card and would auto release. Not sure why or how that happened. I was resent the card and it continues to have a $0 balance on it. Because of this, I missed out on a handbag I wanted and a 25% off discount. I've attempted to have this resolved for over 2 weeks now with multiple contacts and no resolution. I've been disconnected on and e-mails have been ignored.Customer Answer

My boyfriend bought two bags for me on MK website on July 19, for $126.MK website is delivered by ******FedEx shows that it has been delivered on the 25th,But I haven't received the package so far. I didn't sign for it!I think the package may be lost,Today, I contacted MK's online customer service and described my problem to them,But I didn't get any effective solution!They put the blame on ****** and they ignored that it was not me but someone else who signed it,I was very angry. I paid the money, but I didn't get anything in the end, and the seller shirked the responsibility and didn't solve the problem for the customer!MK used the excuse that my shipping address was the freight forwarder to shift the responsibility to ******This is a disgusting company!Michael Kors
