      You can sign up in minutes online which is convenient. But when it comes time to cancel, you have to show up on premises or send a certified letter stating that you want to cancel. You can't cancel online or over the phone. Reluctantly I went to cancel during gym hours and was told that I can't cancel because the manager was not there and only the manager can do cancellations. Note that the reason I'm cancelling is because I moved 30 minutes away. So after making the drive once now they are going to make me do it again? Ridiculous customer service in today's online age.

      I have been trying to cancel my personal training contract and membership for 6 weeks, the trainer I was working with kept telling me it was taken care of. I have text asking again if it was taken care of and was told since I was so rude I would have to take care of it myself. I sent an email to management and they had the trainer text me back to come in and see him to get this done. I replied and said I did not want to come in since they made it a very uncomfortable situation and asked him to take care of it and was texted ok. A week later they charge me again, I call the management and said I had to come in. Then I was told they could not refund the money they get have corporate look at it and get back to me. I was told my trainer was not responsible for telling me how to cancel my memberships, I was also charged another month regular membership to be able to cancel my membership. The management at the club hides behind corporate and said it was my problem for not reading the contract even though I started this process 6 weeks before. I requested my money back that they took away right away but now refuse to talk to me about a refund in a timely matter. It seems that in this gym the customer service motto is we are right and the customer is wrong. The trainer should have known and told me of this runaround I would get. I would again request that my membership fee of $16 and the PT fee of $114 be given back since I will not visit your establishment again and am not going to use it. I do not want to reschedule with another trainer since management and the trainer blew me off. Hopefully this will be answered and not ignored like the rest of my request.

      Stay away from Crunch and their Personal Trainers. I was sold an idea of an expensive personal training program that the team failed to provide or take responsibility for. They operate with deceitful and dishonest business tactics to make a sale. This team takes advantage of folks eager to explore a healthy lifestyle and needs serious ethical assistance.Members are just open pockets to Crunch.

      Leaving do to poor or slow maintenance on equipment and sauna. There are staff members present, but they don't stop the destructive members from pouring water on the dry sauna rocks or abusing equipment. Inconsistant levels of music. You have to wear earplugs on the machines nearthespeakers. No enforcement of keeping members off cell phones while sitting idle on machines for long periods of time. Cancellation of membership, even after being a member for 2 years and correctly cancelling... is an ongoing nightmare where I am still being billed.

      This gym used to be real fun and I enjoyed going for the Zumba Fitness classes. Most recently there has been an issue with their Fitness Coordinator *************************** and their yoga instructor *****************************. These two Crunch Fitness employees were rude and management only caters to these employees. I have addressed management with multiple email correspondence, and verbally in person to the Training Director most recently. On September 22nd, the most recent incident that occurred was with a yoga instructor named ***************************** who was completely rude to five other gym members including myself. ***************************** and *************************** feel it is okay to tell gym members where they have to stand while waiting for their fitness class to begin. Some of us workout and stretch prior to the class. Then the rudeness began with their demands, specifically ***************************** and ***************************. Management, including ************************************* and *******************, have all been addressed by email from concerned members. All five of us took this concern verbally to the Training Director ****** on the evening of September 22, 2022. This gym has become ridiculous for wanting to continue a healthy lifestyle for your well-being. Management would rather cater to the drama of their yoga instructor ***************************** and ***************************. Frankly , it is sad that the managers at the Crunch gym would rather feed into the drama, rather than take concern of twenty plus gym members I speak on behalf of.

      Initially, I thought this gym was outstanding. The gym itself is spacious and clean, the machines held up to all of my expectations regarding quality, effectiveness, etc. However, after two months of going to this gym I was approached by a personal fitness Trainer, and urged to take advantage of a one-time $10 session. I agreed but prefaced before the session that I could not afford to do this regularly. Unfortunately I dont think my trainer understood me very well because after the session I was coerced into signing up. After some thought, I came back into the gym and signed a cancellation form the same day. A few weeks later I was charged $42 for the annual fee as well as an additional $114. The next month, I was charged $57 dollars which meant I couldnt afford other bills that month. I called and asked what the charge was for. The crunch employee notified me, I was still being charged for personal training. Upon being informed of this, I came into the gym, spoke to the manager of personal training and the trainer who signed the cancellation form and was told I could not be refunded because there was no cancellation form on file under my name, although I had already signed one, and that other members were going through similar situations however because there was a change in managers and the system that was being used, I was told it was out of their control. I was told that a request could be sent to their *************** team and I possibly could receive a refund but it was not likely. Throughout this whole situation, I received nasty attitudes from the employees, and little to no help. In summary, I would not suggest going to crunch fitness. Alternatively, ** ******* is amazing! Well worth the price.

      Crunch Fitness in *******, ***** closed it's doors and it still charging my account for the monthly fees for myself and my boyfriend. I have send two email request, which is the only way they gave to cancel and after 2 months have still heard nothing. If a site goes out of business and still charges for services not rendered, should not the first thing they have done would have been to stop bank drafts?

      This place is a complete scam with cancelling. I've called multiple times, sent emails, and even went to the location and they will not allow me to cancel my membership. I've moved out of the state and don't use the membership at all. Had to call my credit call and get them to block them from charging me.

      After making several requests to have my membership cancelled, Crunch Fitness continues to charge my bank account for monthly membership fees, and now an annual fee. I am disabled, and only joined to have access to a stationary bike to help keep the muscles that support my hip in better shape. From reading several other comments and complaints on the BBB website, it is quiet apparent I am not the only one with the issue of Crunch Fitness not cancelling my membership upon request. My bank has now assured me that no further charges will be allowed. What I would like to know is, what is the "Better" Business B doing to stop this practice? FYI: I had to give an undeserved one star rating just to submit this question/complaint. In my opinion, this business deserves no stars.
