BEWARE - Use deceptive practices - say one thing at signup and contract says something else - this should be fraud!!!!! When talk to them, they don't do anything. They signed up an 18 year old which was supposed to be $25/mo and could suspend membership when back to college and then re-start when home ---- LIES!!! They been charging her with personal fitness $169.60 ev 2 wks -- no she didn't agree to this and has never told this. Also on the ap only shows she's signed up for $24 plan. Have been trying to work with them to cancel and they said can't refund!! This is a company full of crooks!!! I would rate them 0 if I could absolutely awful!!!!

I joined Crunch Fitness (Club *****) in August 2023 and signed up for the Express 30 EFT personal training package. Due to my health conditions, including being a cancer patient in remission, I specifically requested not to opt for automatic renewal, a preference I communicated clearly to the representative, ***************************.Despite this, my account has been charged $2,052.00 for personal training services from October 16, 2023, to June 10, 2024, well beyond the $456.00 I initially agreed upon. I was not made aware of the need to cancel the personal training contract separately from my gym membership, which I canceled in January 2024. I have not used any personal training services since October 2023, making these charges unjustified.Efforts to resolve this issue, including multiple visits and communications with Crunch Fitness, have been unsuccessful. On July 24, 2024, a staff member named ***** indicated that a refund is unlikely. I am seeking a refund of the unauthorized charges and request arbitration, as stipulated in the contract, to resolve this dispute. The lack of effective communication and resolution from Crunch Fitness is unacceptable.

This place has the sleaziest membership cancellation process in the freaking World. What is it 1975? I called to cancel my month to month and since I am out of town on extended leave, I called to cancel. They literally told me that I have to send a Certified Letter to their corporate office. I'm like, what you mean to tell me that I have to write a letter, drive to the post office, pay for a certified letter and then wait for the mail to get there and then wait for them to agree to it in order to cancel a membership that I have no contractual obligation to pay. In fact, they just pulled July's payment out of my account. So it's not about the money. THIS IS A SCAM!!! THIS IS A SHAM!!

I signed up for first month free offer for only $.04 cents. everything in the signed up went smooth until i got an email confirmation within minutes letting me know that my first payment was due in 7 days.after calling several numbers and sending several emails i just kept getting the run around. i spoke to the HOME GYM manager and after me presenting the agreement showing first month at $0.00 he completely ignored it and kept saying that it's only 7 days,THIS COMPANY ARE SCAMMERS and Reel you in with a promo just so they won't honor it.

I initiated a formal complaint regarding my business membership with Crunch Fitness, which has been an ongoing issue since June 2023. Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, I have encountered a severe lack of satisfactory service. Initially, I signed up for individual membership, which was utilized without issue for two months. In June 2023, I was presented with an opportunity to upgrade to a business membership. This membership was supposed to include benefits for five people, as well as advertising for my business on Crunch Fitness's social media platforms and within the club itself which I agreed to. However, since making this change, my experience with Crunch Fitness has been nothing short of disastrous. Over the past year, I have contacted the club more than 40 times to resolve the issues with my membership. The General Manager (GM) position has changed hands at least three times during this period, each GM being named *****, which made me question the legitimacy of these changes. Each time I reached out, I was told to call back as the matter needed to be discussed with corporate. The young lady who sold me the membership, *****, was completely incompetent. She failed to submit the necessary documents to ensure my business would receive all the promised benefits. Despite her active efforts to involve me in club events, she never provided any of the perks associated with my membership. Consequently, I called to cancel the membership within the first 30 days, but the payments continued to be deducted from my account. After blocking further payments from being taken from my account, I was subsequently sent to collections. Now, collection agencies are threatening to place this on my credit, which is entirely unacceptable. Crunch Fitness is more focused on extracting as much money as possible from customers rather than fostering long-term relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Signed up with a trainer was misled all through the process. They filled out half of the stuff. Dont even know what they checked off when we were all done. It was supposed to be 6/2 hour training sessions for $330. Even the trainer agreed with me Now all of a sudden Ive had seven charges of $110 and Ive only had 6/2 hour classes. This is ridiculous. They misrepresent everybody they are not qualified to sign people up and after looking at the Better Business Bureau I see they have multiple complaints doing the same thing all over *****************. They are crooked and need to be shut down .

They're not letting me cancel my membership after I moved out of the area I was in to somewhere there are no locations at. They told to mail them a letter and then they told me they never got it. Then they charged me a huge club fee for no reason. They let me sign up extremely easily and will not let me stop paying them no matter what for literally nothing. I would advise anyone considering a membership to go with literally anyone else.

My daughter went to Crunch Fitness in ********* and made it clear she was only going to be a member for two months while home from college. She was told it would be $31.99 a month no commitment. Nothing was communicated verbally about an annual fee of $59. Was also told would get an additional month free when back from break since a new promotion started. When she went to gym to discuss after fee was charged they told her there is nothing that can be done and nothing in computer about the free month. Very sad that this is how young adults get stuck into these types of things with no remorse from the gym.
