      My daughter got food poisoning from eating the food. Not only that, if you try to cancel, they will continue to charge you and then refuse to refund you. If you dont actually call in and cancel, then expect more charges.

      Contacted for a refund on 7/23/24. Delivery shown as "shipped" with no tracking code and got charged!!! Contacted hello fresh and said they would refund me. I tried resolving it through paypal, they disputed me and charged me TWICE!! A SCAM... never doing service here again.

      I signed up for one of their discounted meal plans (Hero discount) and did not receive the discount. When my second invoice came, I checked my plan again and had a discount that I had not signed up for attached to my plan. After an interminable lengthy conversation with customer service via chat, I received no resolution. They offered a small discount on a few boxes nowhere near the discount I was trying to receive. I ended up canceling my plan. After canceling, the chat replied that they were so happy they could assist me. Seriously? I received nothing that made me happy.

      Dont visit their site. All l did was look and they ripped me off saying l had an active subscription and had sent me a box and charged me! Total scam as l did not order and have no idea what will be in the box l am being sent! BEWARE if you even look at this site. I would give them a zero.

We understand that you only would like to check our meals and did not intend to reactivate your subscription with us. Please know, you can always view the current menus without entering your personal information! You can do this by clicking on Weekly Menu' on the top navigation bar on your computer screen, on a mobile screen, you can click on the three little horizontal lines and choose the menu option from the navigation list. This way you can explore the menu and decide if and when youre ready to place an order!

      To give you an overview of what happened, once a subscription is reactivated and active, orders are automatically processed every week for delivery the following week. You have 5 days before the scheduled delivery date to select your meals or skip the order. If you do not make a choice, our system will choose meals based on your preferences.       Got my 1st order and both boxes were severely damaged. Upon opening them the packing was ripped. The items barely cook and hamburger blood had leaked all over one box. Both boxes were above safe temperatures. I notified them right away. I asked for a refund of what I had paid for them.They said they would refunded my money.Well they refunded part of what I paid. I called about it and they refunded the rest.I said I was still willing to try them if I could order a 2nd half price box. I was told no because I had already gotten one.True I did get box of dangerous foods that I had to throw away! If that is customer service for them; then I am probably lucky they said no!

      Infuriated with HelloFresh! I canceled my subscription and specifically requested to skip a delivery, but they sent it anyway! Now I have two unneeded boxes and a damaged driveway - the driver tracked across it while it was still wet! Trying to reach customer service has been a nightmare, with no response to my messages. This is unacceptable, HelloFresh! Deal with the damage!!!!

      Don't visit their site if you have canceled your subscription. My daughter was on their site and accidentally renewed our membership. I checked it out and it is very easy to accidentally renew without knowing. No warning, no confirmation. Went on their chat option to cancel the shipment that we didn't want, and was told that they can't do anything about it. It's a freaking $210 charge!Stay away from them.

      Absolutely horrific customer service. Accounts mysteriously "reactivate" after months of no use. Upon calling I was told I can't receive a refund due to "policies" but my account was cancelled. After this alleged box of food didn't arrive I submitted a claim through PayPal that I didn't receive product and provided proof I was turned away when asked for a refund. thankfully after 2 weeks PayPal has ruled in my favor and I should be getting a refund. $110 is A LOT of money. I'm a single parent and this literally put us back to eating dollar store food using piggy bank change until this stupid refund goes through. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE, IT IS A SCAM!

      Prices change without warning. You to have change your meals 5 days before delivery and you dont get any reminder notifications. Allergies are ignored. Opted for monthly deliveries and was told a completely different date than box actually arrived. Was told I could only get credit on my account. When I pushed they finally gave me a refund on my original form of payment. Avoid at all costs. More expensive than most food deliveries anyway.
