HelloFresh has no order reminders and if you fail to "skip" an order and/or cancel your membership, they will charge you with no possibility of a refund. Talk about scamming people. People have busy lives and things happen where maybe they forget to login to skip weeks and/or alter their deliveries. The fact that HelloFresh is unwilling to accommodate things like this and cancel and refund a "processing" order shows poor customer service and an unwillingness to listen customers. Maybe if they sent out reminders of their upcoming deliveries that could help alleviate this and allow people time to go in and change and/or skip the week if they need to. DO BETTER. I won't be coming back.HelloFresh

1 starThey will try anything and everything to get your money. Their marketing schemes and so called promos are misleading and at times untrue. They told me I could postpone my delivery if I needed to if I just started the subscription with the promo now, but turns out, I couldn't move my delivery date to later. They will provide wrong information if it gets you to subscribe or reenroll.The food variety is not even that good, the recipe is boring, takes too much time to prep and cook, and ridiculous packaging (stop putting every single thing into its own plastic seal.Review fromKaren N

1 starI liked the food & the delivery driver was spot on for a Sunday delivery. Butinvoicing? What an absolute $#it Show! Within the 2 of the 3 free 2-person; 3 meal boxes & 1 add-on for life, I have 7 separate invoices! I didnt mind paying for the premium protein up-charges.Box 1: One week later Box 1 NEVER came; I called customer service the same day I subscribed to the service because the invoice I received was incorrect. The ** rep cancelled the subscription - I guess it was their way of cleaning up their bookkeeping??????? I thought she was canceling to FIX the errors-NOPE NO BOX!Box 2 (actually Box 1): The invoice is wrong again. After speaking to the ** rep for the 2nd time, she credited the $8.99 for the free add-on for life for actual Box 2. If the credit does not appear this week, 8-11-24, it will next week on 8-18-24~Nope only the charge for the Box 2 Add-on was still there.Box 3 (actually Box 2): Invoice is wrong again! Just spoke to *** **; he could not fix errors & wanted me to trudge thru the hundreds of emails to find the Promo Code ~ Nope too many emails. Finally, I said ***, if you want me to keep the service, I want yo to honor my request of: my 1 remaining FREE Box (3) 8-18-24; Credit my $***** for actual Box 2; 1-Free Add-on for life; 1-FREE breakfast for life, & free shipping for life, if you want me to keep the service. *** transferred me to **********, ** Resolve Supervisor. I relayed the entire account again. I told her what was wrong. After 20 minutes of going ring-around-the-rosy with her, her bottom line was NO to crediting ***** for actual Box 2; NO to crediting shipping charges I should have gotten for actual Box 1; YES to crediting $8.99 & $5.99 for Add-on actual Box 1&2. Now, if you became confused with the Kindergarten bookkeeping, then imagine living it! I have been a HelloFresh customer for about 2 years. On 3 occasions the food wasn't delivered - which is OK - and on all 3 occasions I was promised a refund within 10 days and the refund was never processed until I called them a few weeks later. Had I not remembered to call I assume they never would have processed the refund.HelloFresh

I ordered 4 Vegan meals for a dinner party and was sent chicken and pork. We have been subscribers for several years and they would not refund the 4 meals they sent incorrectly and would not allow us to send these back. Sadly we had to cancel our plan.HelloFresh

******** doesn't adequately describe this company and though I really wanted to leave zero (0) stars with this review, that was not allowed! Do not fall for their "coupons!" I had been a member a couple of years back and received a "coupon" in the mail for 18 free meals if I came back. Logged on with my previous account information just to look at the selections and apparently that automatically reactivates your membership! The coupon code given in the mailer was deemed "invalid" when entered but that didn't stop them from charging my credit card $41.96 without any consent or confirmation of the charge. When I called customer service, which is completely useless, they said that my delivery of four (4) meals was already in route and therefore, could not be refunded!!! The kicker here is I did not choose any of these meals, only looked briefly at the meal choices before logging out when the coupon code didn't work but was told my meals would arrive when I was out of town!!! So essentially they have charged me $41.96 for these four (4) randomly selected meals to sit on my porch rotting for the next 10 days! Needless to say I disputed the charge with my credit card company and have very emphatically told this disgraceful, unethical outfit to take my name off of any mailing/emailing list they might have and I warn all of you to do the same!HelloFresh

Sketchy!!! Send mailers constantly with promo codes work, then automatically apply a lower value code. Bait and switch. The app and website intentionally make it inconvenient and hard to cancel your account. **************** is unbelievably useless. It doesn't matter if CS staff is nice if they never do anything to actually help customers. Are they all AI bots giving lip service bc that's what it seems like. When I tried to get help... SO MANY TIMES, bc they kept dropping box at the wrong house I was told a report would be made, it would be escalated, someone was working on it ect ect. All that was utter bs, they did nothing and the box kept going to the wrong house. They could get their promo mailers to me just fine though. The food is good... the times I got my box anyways but all the issues were not worth it. There has you to be something fraudulent going on with their promo codes, some kind of low class scam to bait people then put them on a more expensive plan than they expected.
