      Their offers for free meals is cryptic. I was charged $28 for the first box then $55 for the second. I tried to reverse the charges but was unable to.

      I was got an offer to try everyplate at a discount so I decided to take a look at what they had to offer and I wasn't impressed didn't seem worth it even with the discount. Here's the thing: you have to enter you card info to see the meals and you pick the meals and theres a final step after that I didn't proceed to the last step so I thought I wouldn't be charged. Not the case though at 3am I get a notification of a charge for them. So I give them a call at 9 am requesting a cancel and refund. I am told it's to late to be refunded they already created a box on my behalf. Swearing that the last step was to add my card. I couldn't even create a box until I entered my card so that was clearly a lie. So I blocked them with my bank and will have to dispute the charge because I didn't authorize it. Don't waste your time with them. They charge you just to look at their food options insane!!

      Hello Fresh used to be good. I think 1/2 of their failure is using *** as a shipper. I had bought 62 weeks of meal boxes. Food quality has decreased in quality and delivery service is a joke.

      Its all great until you want to sto the service. They will send you and charge you for boxes you did not ask, want or need.

      terrible customer service with no support. Wasted 3 full menus due to missing items that were required to complete any part of the recipe. A min credit was applied that did not even cover one of the recipes.Would not recommend to anyone

      The worst customer service experience EVER!!!!!!! I logged into account on 12/25. I never selected meals but there was a charge on my card. I waited until today to see if would fall off. It did not- I spent an hour an half chatting with a representative and a supervisor. They told me I need more than 5 days to get a refund. It hasn't been 5 days. They said that because I was a customer from 2018- I should have known what the terms and conditions are. No matter what I had an explanation for- the response was "sorry, that's what happened." Never offered a solution to concern. Just that there was nothing they could do because something shipped that I did not request and had canceled the account before I selected meals.

      The veggies were not fresh, I had to cook them right away to prevent throwing them out, the garlic and ginger was so bad I threw them away and the onion was rotten. How does this save me money? I will not be reactivation my account what a Rio off

      They make it nearly impossible to cancel your account and it can reactivated without warning.I am going to be filing a dispute with my credit card company.

      AWFUL! Sent email that is a scam and when you try and get them to fix pricing before you have to pay they tell you to wait and see what you are charged and if it wrong then you can get a refund. NO, You cancel my account, After it is cancelled I tell him that I am upset and I will be filing a compaint with the BBB. He NOW tells me that he can look into my account and find out why the issue happened. No you should have done that before. That is the whole reason why I called in the first place. You should ************* with peoples hard earned money and have them guessing what you will be charging them.

      I have been a long time customer of **********************. *** boxes long to be exact, so I know how this works including the timeframe where you cannot make additional changes. Ever since the pandemic, the service and quality has gone down hill. I understand there were challenges with COVID including staffing and supply issues, but after three years I expect things to run a little smoother in present day for a service I pay for.Over the past year I've had to damage out boxes due to lack of insulation making the ingredients arrive with temps in the 60's and 70's. Since they are shipped prior to your delivery date, no telling how long the food was sitting at that temp. I've had missing ingredients or completely wrong meals delivered. Missing or damaged ingredients did occur over the years but this past year the quality has really gone down hill. Thankfully, the company has always willing to refund the ingredient or entire meal if something is wrong...until today.Most recent issue was delivery for the week of Christmas. I received an email on 12/15/22 letting me know my usual Monday delivery date of 12/26/22 needed to be moved to 12/24/22. Since I don't want a box being delivered on Christmas Eve, I logged in and changed it to 12/27/22, which was accepted. My card was charged on 12/20/22 for that box per the usual schedule. I was then notified on 12/22/22 that my delivery date was moved back to 12/24/22 from 12/27/22. When I called to cancel the box or get a refund, explaining I was aware it would not arrive Monday but changed it to Tuesday, I was denied both. The rep stated there are no drivers in my area for Tuesday due to the holiday. Sorry, but if that was the case you shouldn't have let me change the date to 12/27, and if you can't stop the box from shipping, should offer a full refund.I really enjoy this kind of service, unfortunately I will need to find an alternative company to work with since I'm beyond frustrated with HelloFresh.
