      I am writing to you about a Whole Life insurance policy my Dad (*********************************) had in his name and with me his daughter 100% beneficiary of it. I have in writing that benefits are with cash value, price always stay the same, coverage never expires. I also have bank statements showing money taking out each month from American General Life Insurance. I just want what is owed on my fathers behalf. It doesn't have to come to me it can go to funeral home.

      I have an annuity with American General Life Insurance *** that I've had for years. It pays 2% interest. I've been trying to set up a monthly withdrawal from this annuity to my ******************* account since early January. I've completed and sent in the Annuity withdrawal form (notarized) twice. No action has been taken by AGL. I have called them at least three times trying to find out the reason for the delay. Each time I call, the representative dutifully looks up the account, verifies the receipt of my withdrawal forms, assures me that action will be taken and I will be notified of the action. After 2-3 weeks, I try again. Same response. Same no action. As the annuity pays only 2%, I believe it is in ***** interest to retain my monies as long as possible. Hence the reason for their continuing stall.

      Purchased travel insurance to cover cruise, when we docked in ********* prior to boarding plane had to be tested for Covid, husband was positive, so we could not fly back to ************. I have been contacting Travel Guard since August 2022 for reimbursement of plane fare. I haven't requested hotel or food or transportation to airport, just plane fare, I submitted everything requested numerous times via email fax and finally sent everything thru postal service, I have spoken to claims on numerous occasions only to be told someone would contact me, didn't happen, I called on 1/24/23 as claim status was closed, only to be told all necessary information was there and it would be sent to adjuster, I called 2/8/23 only to be told all info is there, I asked to speak to supervisor, was told they would call back in few days, I got a call back as a silenced call leaving a voice mail, I called back only to be told someone would contact me, well the same supervisor **** again did a silenced call leaving a voice message to contact claims area. I have purchased insurance for two up coming trips from Travel Guard and if this is type of service they provide I will be requesting a refund. Please help me get the refund I am entitled to. I have copies of all information that has been submitted if you need. They need to advise **** that when calling a customer you don't do a silent call and leave a message to call back the same claim area you are not getting any service from.

      On November 16th, I initiated contact with VALIC, now ******************** regarding a distributionfrom my 403b account and inquired about being able to take the distribution due to the birth of a child. I was assured I was allowed to do that without penalty from the employee then, again a couple of days later I was told the same and someone sent me an email with documents I needed to submit and said I had to wait in the mail for a tax form to be mailed to me. I waited throughout Thanksgiving holidays as I was asked to do and on into the first week of December. I called back in again and waited an extended time and was told that form was entirely unnecessary as the **** would be sent afterwards not prior to having the funds distributed. The lady walked me through completing documentation at that time and said I had filled out all that was necessary. Then I had an email saying there was a problem completing my request and to call in. I called in at that time and was told my plan did not allow for distributions of this type, but it would be possible to receive it as a loan. I asked to speak with someone else in management because this was being drawn out and I was being told something different from the 4 prior individuals had confirmed to me. A manager was asked to call me the next day, December 16th. I have been given multiple delays in processing my distribution. Last week I was told the third party group was holding things up and that I would not be given a timeframe of when to expect the funds. I was told they were awaiting wording to be updated and that was all that was needed to process the distribution on Friday. I was called Friday afternoon and told they received the updated wording and was told it would take a night for the system to process, but again due to the Monday holiday, MLK Day, it would take until Tuesday for it to process from the account. Today I was asked for original paperwork from 2015. I need this distribution taken care of immediately.

      ON October 28- 2021 I was involved in accident on route 129 in Alcoa Tenn. No one was Injured in the accident. At that time, I was driving a blue Kia ******* The accident Happend around 5am. I was rearend pretty hard. There was about $13,000 worth of damage to my car. The other driver that caused the accident she totaled her car. I had called my Insurance Company. I have ***** and the other individual has the General. I have tried so many different ways calling the general emailing leaving messages and no one has responded to me. I need to get the ball going. I didn't have a choice. I HAD TO PAY MY OWN DEDUCTIBLE $500 out of pocket and other Expense car rental that my insurance company only paid so much. I had to pay extra $450 out of pocket. I'm looking at total of $950 that they owe me.

      My husband passed away 1.5 years ago His Annuity was supposed to be changed to my name I sent all the paperwork They never contacted me about the change The policy number changed but no statements and no answers when I call. Upon return from the trip, approximately 2 weeks later, submitted the pertinent details along with the receipts for services. By their own policy, they attempt to resolve claims within 10 days. I've received monthly emails (3 so far) stating the following: "Dear ****************************,We are reaching out with respect to the claim you have filed referenced above. Our objective is to promptly inform you and our decision with respect to your claim; however, we need additional time to complete our claim review. You are a valued customer, and we are working diligently to address your request.In the meantime, should you need to submit additional documentation, please email claimsdoc#aig.com or if you want to check in on the status of your claim, please visit ******************************************* you for your patience.Best *****************************

      I spoke with claims at *** on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022 . **** assured me that a check would be cut by Thursday and she would notify that it had been done. This was originally suppose to have been cut on Monday, Dec 5, 2022. and it wasn't. I have had a hard time getting in touch with **** in claims, because this huge company does not have access with a phone to the claims ***** Here it is Dec 19, 2022 and still no check and I have been on the phone for an hour and a half and still no **** to speak with. This company has lied and has people that are the most ignorant and stupid that there are. I want my payment ASAP. Period

      My mother, *****************************, had a retirement account with **** My mother passed away this year on July 5th, 2022. My brother and I were listed as equal beneficiaries on my mother's *** account. My brother, *************************, is currently incarcerated in a federal military prison in ******. I have financial power of attorney for my brother. *** has sent me my share of the account but they have not sent my brother his share of the account. I have contacted *** many times since my mother's passing to get this resolved. I have completed all requested forms, sent death certificates, sent the power of attorney documents for my brother, and even provided an affidavit document conforming my power of attorney for my brother. Still *** has not released the funds due my brother. They have provided no reason why and they have not once attempted to contact me to explain the reason the funds are not released. It is impossible for my brother to contact *** himself due to his restrictions in the military prison at Fort Leavenworth. I have contacted *** at least 6 times since July to resolve this and they have never provided a reason it cannot be resolved.

      This is in reference to complaint # ********.  The business has sent two letters to me since I opened this complaint stating that they are looking into this.  They have not provided any information as to why they have refused to release my deceased mother's retirement account funds.  Once again they have stopped responding and the business has provided no information on this issue.  This is fraudulant and illegal activity on behalf of the business.  It has been over 6 months since we notified *** of my mother's passing and completed all required documentation.

      My mother, ***************************, left an annuity to me through *** that they are refusing to pay out because they say they cannot verify her employment. I called the number they were trying to use as verification and it was some random persons personal voicemail. My mom died on April 9th and Ive been calling *** since I learned that she left me this annuity.
