*********** and AIG insurance are anti-feminist and will run with your money.
We purchased travel insurance for our trip and when we contacted *********** and AIG to cancel our trip when I unexpectedly became pregnant with an IUD which has a high risk of complications including ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, and a slew of other things... they said my high-risk pregnancy would not be included in their refund policy. I had a doctor's note stating I was asked to not travel and still denied a refund. I let the hotel know in ample time and no refund there either. I have spent countless hours trying to get this sorted and they clearly do not value their customer's health or safety but would have preferred I get on a plane and have a possible miscarriage rather than stay home to make sure we were okay prior to travel. Prior to this news, we had several emails letting us know our flight was canceled from Seattle to Pasco and that there were no other flights to get us between those two locations only to find out when we talked to the actual airlines that the flights were not actually canceled but rebooked. If we hadn't called them directly we would have booked two separate flights from what *********** told us about our flights...I will NEVER book with them again nor expect that travel insurance will actually insure anything. We are out 6K with no trip to show for it.

My iPhone was stolen and I filed a paid insurance claim through **** Below is from the companies website: "We will contact you within 2 business days with details about your claim.Your card will not be charged until your claim has been approved" Not only did they charge me on day 1, it has now been ****************************************************************************** any capacity. I call the companies support number daily and every representative tells me they have no additional information. When I ask to speak to a supervisor they claim they are busy and will call back but they never have. I have been over two weeks, with no end in sight, without a phone because the sole insurance provider refuses to proceed with my claim on contact me for information that could assist the process. This is the worst service I have received from any company that I pay MONTHLY.

I lost my phone Oct. 14, submitted a claim and am still waiting. Their website says 2 days, people on phone say 2-5. Keep telling me they’ve escalated my claim (I have 90 year old mother I need to be in contact with). None of the promised supervisors ever called back. ***** says nothing they can do. If/when I get a phone am cancelling this policy.

Don’t waste your time or money! I purchased *********** insurance for a family vacation this winter. I had to cancel due to my wife’s illness. They claimed that she had a pre-existing condition and denied the claim. She did have an episode of symptoms prior to booking the trip, but this was thought to be an isolated incident. She was not DIAGNOSED until after the trip was booked. I spent 3 months on phone calls, emails and submitting and re-submitting physicians’ statements. My suspicion is they were hoping I’d simply give up after awhile and they wouldn’t have to formally reject my claim. “Pre-existing condition” is a great excuse to deny a claim. I’ve seen multiple complaints against them citing the same reason for rejection. I’m sure my claim was rejected because it was a large amount of money. I suspect they pay out only the smaller claims against them.
      **** poor service, useless product.

If I could *** would be zero. They do NOT honor the Apple Theft and Loss Insurance. They make it until you cry and become frustrated. They promise responses in 1-2 days. They lie. The 95% of the time do not respond or respond in error. They lie. From September 21 to October 13 no iphone and no response even after calling them daily

On 9/14/22 I filed a claim # ****** for a lost iPhone, received a response on 9//20 that the claim had different names for the policy holder and the name on the claim, needed a new government ID - but they didn't say which was wrong. I had sent a copy of my driver's license but didn't know if that had ID'd me as policy holder or name on the claim so I called. The agent couldn't tell me the which name was wrong - confidentiality - and said this was somehow Apple's *********** needed to talk with them. I did so, was told they have no insight and that the form had been filled out by *** (at my request, but based on info from Apple.I emailed my request for clarification and assistance, have heard nothing back. I'll call again but figured filing a complaint might help. More when I know -

I cancelled travel through ******* due to a death in the family. I gave *** my new address and after months, they finally sent the refund check to the wrong address. When I contacted the claims adjuster, *******************, she told me she would cancel it and reissue a new check, which would take 3-4 days to receive. I received a check at my current address 3 days later, so naturally, I assumed it was the reissued check. I deposited into my bank account and several days later, it was returned. My bank froze my account and requested that I have *** email me a letter explaining the reason the check was returned so I can regain access to my account. Although it was after hours, I sent ******************* a voicemail explaining the situation. She was not apologetic the next day when she called back, as she was not when she sent the first check to the wrong address. She became very defensive and even accused me of telling her NOT to send a new check, which makes NO sense. She then admitted that a new check was just sent out which contradicted what she originally told me; that a new check would be here in 3-4 days. The strange part is that the check I did receive did not have my old address on it at all; she resent a check that had a stop placed on it. I requested to speak to *********************** supervisor, ******, who did not call me back. Each time I called in to ***************** they would only send messages to *******************. Meanwhile, I have now gone two days with no access to any money as my bank account is still frozen. This has been the WORST experience I have ever had with a company. If you have a choice on whether or not to do business with them, DON'T!!!! I googled their *** to send him a letter and asked the customer service representative to confirm that ************************* is still the *** and I was told that he could NOT confirm who the *** is. What type of company wants to hide who their *** is? CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!

I would rate this company with zero stars, but unfortunatelty that is not an option. Had to put in a lost iphone claim over the phone on 9/10/22, since apple doesn't seem to understand that you can't get verification codes to a lost phone smh. Found out two days later that the original representative that intiated the claim for me, put it in entirely wrong. Now, it's been almost 3.5 days and all they can say is that it has been escalated and will still take 3-5 business days after they are actually able to see all the info on their end. Doesn't help that their website never updates anything. I've spent so many hours over the phone with both them and apple regarding this issue. Now I regret getting applecare and next time will only get the insurance directly through my carrier. This has been an awful experience.
