    Terrible service. They don't answer the chats due to high chat volume (I wonder why?) and they have no idea what's going on. My site has been down for 4 days without email. They say it could take "up to 72 hours" for DNS to propagate. It took 2 days and now that it has propagated, email still doesn't work. They are no help and any decent domain company propagates in an hour or less. What a joke. Go to ********** or *********, these guys are clueless and are of zero help.

    Any good reviews of Squarespace are probably 10 years old. They say "Award winning service" -- I am sure they gave the reward to themselves. Service is "24/7" - because you can send an email 24/7. It does not mean anyone is going to respond to you. The chat features are only for website design. If you have a billing, account, security, privacy or any other issue, you have to send an email and wait. There is absolutely no phone support, of course. I have chatted 2 times in the last 2 days. It ALWAYS says "We have a large volume of requests.." but that is because they understaff support to save money. It took over an hour waiting for the chat to start each time. And that is for the times it didn't just timeout and say "Please email us"Unfortunately once you build with Squarespace you cannot really move your content to another site without a complete rebuild. So they have you where they want you.

    Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. ****** transferred all their domain hosting or a large portion to Squarespace with out your consent. Our ****** Workspace billing was also transferred. Squarespace cannot be reached by phone.I transferred the ****** Workspace back to ****** using Squarespace instructions but they continue to bill us as well as being billed by ******. Squarespace should have cancelled the subscription their end but they did not. I have followed their instructions to the letter to cancel the subscription when I sign into Squarespace. All I get is a page that is white with a little black square in it that goes round and round and does not do anything else. Refreshing does nothing. Changing the browser does nothing. I tried chat with Squarespace and the same phemonena as above happened. I could see the agent responding behind the white square but could not access the chat . If I refreshed the chat cuts off and you are back at the beginning. I spent hours trying to get this all to work. So I had no choice but to email them and I never got a reply for over a week and they told me to refresh the page. I have asked several times on the email for them to cancel the subscription and there is no response to this.It makes one wonder if there is a scam happening deeper beyond the website incompetence going on.Eventually I reported fraud to my credit card. We are also furious with ****** for transferring our ****** Workspace and domain hosting to this hugely incompetent Squarespace with out our permission. I have spent hours and days on this trying to sort it out. Unbelievable . Huge mess up. By the looks of the reviews , others are experiencing what we are experiencing. Somebody take notice of this.

    Poor customer service, they never respond to you, they take your money and they dont not help you! Do not give them money. They took over $250 for me and got absolutely nothing for it

    I would give zero stars if I could. After diligently building my site, Squarespace suggests you get a custom email through ****** Workspace. This process is non functioning, there is no support. I have worked at it for one month, still with no success. My main complaint is there is no available chat and an email complaint might be responded to in 5 or more days. Mind you, you will be charged for this whole entire time. Currently, I have still had no support as to how I can move forward, there is no solution,, and today, my site simply won't work. Its a business plan made to take your money, and provide zero help. I feel 100% SCAMMED.

    Not a surprise that squarespace has a 1-star rating!! ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS COMPANY!! I'm on day 3 now trying to get someone to talk to me about them double charging my monthly fee! Their "chat" is extremely stupid and inefficient! Talk to me, squarespace!! Come on!!

    the website support is horrible and they to use worthless ai to try to resolve any and every question or issues you might have. will not get back to ticket to update a credit card, been without emails for days now when we signed up fort ****** not square space, they are horrible.

    SquareSpace customer service is NON EXISTING! There is no phone number available to speak with a human. When you access the chat box, SquareSpace displays a notice stating "high volume of issues so chat is disabled." The notice directs you to send an email. However, I sent an email and it's been a week. The report given yesterday was "we're experiencing a high volume of issues." The lack of customer service is disappointing, especially given the payments made by myself and other customers. Unacceptable. Do better!

    I try looking for customer support because I have an issue with the phone number not being properly displayed on my website (when I save the edit to change it to the proper number, it reverts back to some random number??), and turns out there is NO customer support! They say their email is open 24/7 to help, but they don't display ANY email so who am I supposed to contact?? Terrible service. Might look into moving my business somewhere else.
