Long term disability case manager ***** T will not reach out or speak to you at all. It has been a constant struggle to try and make heads and tails of how they do business. Im sure this is designed this way to keep from paying what I paid for. Im told when I call that they have all of my information and then I receive a letter 7 days before they are supposed to grant my disability and tell me they need the information I already sent. My advice is get a lawyer because they are gonna s**** you over.

Ive submitted a coordination of benefits form via mail 7/24/24, called on 8/2/24 because I received another request for one and the rep said they didnt have the mailed one but she entered it now, today had to call again and was told no record of mailed form nor my 8/2 call. Its clear this is a tactic they use to wear people down in hopes they dont have to pay a claim. This is a tactic Ive experienced with multiple insurance agencies this just being the latest.

Literally been slow walking my claim and everytime I call an INDIAN FROM OUT OF THIS COUNTRY TELLS ME SOMETHING DIFFERENT. I will probably have to *** as they have not honored their agreement. It's just nothing but excuses on the daily. Unfortunately this country allows this which is sad. Can only imagine what their next excuse is as I have sent all info from my doctors, whom have graduated from medical school. These people are a joke. How about you employ people with brains??

Guardian';s claims around out-of-network insurance coverage are incredibly misleading. They advertrise 100% in network and 90% out of network coverage. The 90% coverage is only for Guardian's fee. Guardian does not cover the rest of the bill. They might as well not cover anything out of network. Terribly misleading.

I had to take a leave of absence from work Due to some mental health issues I was in need of rest and non-stressful situations Short term disability was supposed to be helpful in case of emergencies This company has not been helpful. I still havent been paid anything. I am a single mom up to young kids. Ive been chasing them down trying to figure out what they needed to process my claim. Ive gotten the runaround from non-United States located customer ********************** department Ive been told multiple times that I would receive a call from my case manager when I have not. They do not treat you like a client or human. Every conversation feels robotic scripted. Nor do they understand that youre a a person struggling with mental issues or that youre depending income to support your family and pay for your financial obligations. They really need a treat somebody thats seeking help and support during this time with mental health issues serious because it could be a very big liability. They feel like they have no hope or no where to turn. I think you need to get some real training and updated policies to support people during those time of need Every call ends with no answer or real updates

This company is horrible!! I needed an implant and crown , they did not pay one dime. Cost me ********. It is FRAUD. It's a form of a ponzi scheme,... theft. I pay 30.00/month through my employer and my employer pays a part as well. This type of business should not be legal in this country.

Guardian dentals system in paying for claims is flawed and they don't even pay the bare minimum of providing basic care. Their employees are slaves to the system. Although the employees (even supervisors) want to help customers, they are unable to do so because of the corrupt leaders of this company.

Absolutely the worst Customer **********************. Lies, misinformation. They keep billing claims to an old employer. Now they are blaming my dental office. Stay away from this company at all costs!!

Guardian dental coverage is by far and away the worst insurance I have ever had. They denied my crowns because, like a lot of the other complaints, they stated that I don't have cracked tooth syndrome. I had decay under fillings and am pretty sure that I didn't have enough tooth left to even hold a filling on the front of my tooth. Seriously, I don't think the people reviewing their claims have any knowledge of dentistry whatsoever and just look for keywords. If they don't see the keyword, then they automatically deny the claim. Honestly, the whole point of insurance is to help with large, unexpected expenses. That apparently is not what this company does. I've already reached out to my boss to make it clear that we need to drop them as a provider as this is unacceptable. My dentist should not have to appeal anything, this is ridiculous.

Absolutely AWFUL! I would give them -5 stars if it were possible. I've had this insurance for 6 years now. Over that time I have barely used it, except for my cleanings. However, now that I've had two teeth break on me in 6 months they are now refusing to cover any of the costs, due to "frequency". Seriously!?! Just paid over $750 out of pocket because they refused a crown on a tooth that was 1/3 gone! I called Guardian and was told I can have my dentist file for revaluation, but chances are they are NOT going to change their mind, as it is their top dentists who look over the claims and they felt the tooth could be saved. Two years ago, same thing. I was forced to have a tooth that was half gone filled because they refused a crown on that one as well. One that is visible when I smile. and had nothing but issues with it since. That's on top of $95 out of pocket, on top of the $750, for an emergency appointment, again due to "frequency". Today they refused me again when I went in with terrible pain from the broken tooth they refused to cover in December. I left the dentist office with my painful tooth, and without a referral to an oral surgeon for removal because I didn't have the $52 with me to pay for the referral. Beyond irritated and frustrated. I'm going to drop it. What good is "CHEAP" insurance if all it's doing is costing me? With what I pay them a year for nothing, I could pay for my own cleanings.
