I had to have crown put on my tooth on June 2023. I have been diagnosed with "tooth cracking syndrome". My dental procedure was performed and denied by Guardian. This tooth was looked at by 2 seperate dentists before the crown was put on. I have done 3 appeals that had X-rays and a narrative diagnosis attached. . A representative during 1 of my phone calls said, "I am looking at your tooth and it has a crown on it". I told him what tooth is he looking at?, and no x rays have been done on the tooth after the crown was put on. He also told me that Guardian wants to do a "peer to peer" which is a dentist to dentist conference call.. Guardian had failed to perform the scheduled conference call with my dentist. On the notices of denial from Guardian it states,"that I would need to be diagnosed with tooth cracking syndrome", to which I have been diagnosed, and Guardian refuses to follow their own rules. And also during all of my calls to Guardian I have to speak with someone that is from a foreign country and could hardly speak english clearly. I would not recommend this company to anyone that needs insurance. You will be sadly disappointed and truly aggravated with your coverage and lack of the companies understanding of their own rules. I am truly unhappy with their performance as a dental insurance company...I wouldn't even give them the 1 star...I wish my husband's company would give us a reliable responsible insurance company to use...dental and health are extremely important issues that need to be addressed.

Terrible company. The policy looks okay at first glance, but basically won't cover anything. My wife chipped her tooth and they refused to cover the cost of the repair due to esoteric billing fine print. The polies are intentionally set up to not cover anything of consequence. I don't even know how this is legal. They must be operating in a grey area. I will be looking for the class action lawsuit in the years to come.Customer ********************** is also incredibly unhelpful. Don't even bother.

Where do I start. From 06/21 -10/23 (dropping coverage after this claim) I have carried ********** and STD policies with The Guardian. I paid premiums for ****k a month *** and 1.5k a week STD. I was told that my policy had a 8 day grace ******* On 9/28 I had a prostatectomy. Used a weeks vacation to cover grace ******* I contact the guardian a week after surgery to check claim. To find out Im only receiving $900 a week for STD before tax and they tell me thats all I qualify for. 60% of my weekly pay is ****. Theyll kindly take your premium. Good luck getting what you paid for.

Worst dental insurance I've had in my entire career. They basically cover nothing. I had to get a filling fixed recently and they literally covered $0, and I'm over my *** and deductible. I don't understand why companies do business with them

Worse than all other insurances I have worked with - completely not even worth the review.

Oh don't even. They're an insurance company. They're not out to actually help you. We have dental insurance through my husband's workplace. My daughter's dentist is listed on the site, and preventative annual care is listed at covered 100%. The dentist's ****** called ahead and were told it would be covered at 100%. They covered ~37%. I called - - They say they only cover our doctor at one ****** but not the other.- That's not their fault, that's how the doctor chooses to be covered and/or how they choose to submit the claim - My doctor's ****** says that's just how they bill It's no one's responsibility to cover it. Even though we pay Guardian monthly to cover a doctor clearly listed on their site, a doctor we called ahead to verify... Whatever. Yet another insurance provider actively taking money from their customer and not actually delivering against their promise. May Guardian's company leaders actually need to make an honest living one day.

Guardian Disability Insurance review Save your money. GUARDIAN disability insurances are in the business of denying your claim and not paying you after you've been paying for years upon years in the event of an unforeseen life changing condition happens wearing you need them. If you are considering signing up consult a reputable Disability Law Firm to review the policy before you sign up so you know exactly what your benefits are. Overall all the funds that you would have invested monthly into any disability insurance company it would be more BENEFICIAL for you to invest YOUR MONEY in something else and you won't have the headache of fighting the insurance companies to get minimum monthly pay compared to what you were receiving as a physician.

I guess I'm not adding much to the already terrible reviews. They flagged me for something I was tested for out of precaution but was never diagnosed with. Now every insurance company I apply for thinks I have that disease because Guardian mislabeled me. I never bought their service and they still managed to ruin my life. Don't even apply.

I have been dealing with Guardian for my *** for the last 2 yrs now. I have had 6 different case managers. And last week I had my new case manager call me on a Thurs morning, I have been calling her back since since 2 hours after she left me a voicemail. Well today i finally got someone that finally got ahold of her and while we were talking i asked her if it was gonna delay my check and she told me yes because we hadn't went over the paperwork yet. Ok well I have *** trying for almost a week to get ahold of her and I told her that they dont care that we the client have bills to pay as well and she hung up on me. I called back and now im waiting on a supervisor to call me back. Her name is *********************. My work choose this company no me, so i have to deal with it till i get my ssi. I would not recommend. I dont even give them a 1 star

Since enrolling in Guardian Dental, I have encountered numerous difficulties with their claims processing department. Simple claims that should have been processed promptly turned into endless cycles of delays, miscommunication, and inefficiencies. The lack of accountability and disorganization in handling claims has left me questioning the competence of their staff.Additionally, their billing system is equally flawed. I have been charged for services that were supposed to be covered under my plan, and on several occasions, I received erroneous charges for procedures that were never performed. This careless approach to accuracy and attention to detail is unacceptable, and it has left me burdened with financial stress and frustration. My efforts to resolve these issues have been met with empty promises and no satisfactory resolution. Countless hours have been wasted on the phone, being transferred from one representative to another, with no end in sight. It is evident that Guardian Dental is failing to uphold its commitments to its customers.
