Ive been trying to contact this company by email , text and phone with no answer over several days . Ive been trying to track a package that Im missing . Ive tried the 2 phone numbers provided . One is the credit card line , the other merchant . The merchant number goes to a machine and no one answers or calls back . No answer to texts or to the 2 emails provided . Return was delivered via NEWGISTICS on Feb 5th, 2024.Refund I am due back is $442.48.I'm being told that due to a high volume of returned orders that their warehouse team has been processing, they are currently having some delays in processing the refunds for the returned items.I have been waiting since Feb 5th, 2024 for New York & Company to refund my card $442.48 for Jeans/Pants which were returned back to them.They tell me that their warehouse team is working diligently to process all returns as quickly as possible however I'm getting billed for clothes I did not keep and were returned.ORDER #******** Acct # ending in ****Initial Complaint

This company attempts to dodge being held accountable according to the return policy. First, they made it almost impossible to obtain the necessary return label. The link sent didnt work for weeks. Now, even though my return was received back on 5/15, and their policy lists 5-7 days for refund, I am still waiting. They are facing insolvency & still taking orders thar are not fulfilled.They have no customer service available, have turned their comments off on social media. This is the parent group for New York & Company. They are a disgrace and are defrauding people and not fulfilling orders.Customer Answer

I returned merchandise to New York & Company and they received it on 2/12/24. It has been 109 days and New York & Company still hasn't processed my return, nor have I received any credit back for the merchandise. First New York & Company sent me an email stating it could take up to 41 days to process my return. Then after the 41 days, I reached out to ******** through their customer support email and keep getting the same response, "due to a high volume of returns we currently have delays in processing refunds for returned items".Customer Answer

I purchased a pair of jeans that were defective. The company sent me a shipping label, then I shipped the merchandise back to them. Despite their receiving back the merchandise, they failed to refund my money. Also, when I went to their website to notify them of my defective jeans, their system was trying to force me to do an exchange. I had to email customer service about the problem and then had a second problem with their system not generating a return label. This caused me to write them another email. Ordered clothe around the (-7 of May. Was send a note that they had received my order and an *** tracking number s as most immediately. *** *** says it was a created label but they not received the package. I have emailed several time. Called customer service and was told they do t deal with that only take payments. Only to get hold of anyone was to email did that three times and Ive heard nothing. I placed an order with New York and company on Jan. 6, 2024. Order ******** consisted of 4 items one of which I had to return. Faux Leather Seamed Straight Leg Pant - Item XLARGE / BLACK Email was received on 2/1 saying that return was received and due to high volume of orders there has been a delay in processing my return. Another email was sent on 2/16 stating my return is still processing. I have sent several emails, called and left voice messages and to date no response. Called earlier this morning and had to leave another voice message. It's been almost 4 months and I still don't have my refund but I keep receiving emails for 10% off my next order. After this experience, I will not be ordering from them again. I feel that I should not only get the amount of the return but they should refund the entire order for my time spent trying to contact the company and the poor or should I say lack of customer service.Customer Answer
