In November 2024 I purchased 2 items from New York & Company. Shipping took forever. When I finally received the items in December 2024 they were not up to par. The quality of the pants I ordered were horrendous. They were labeled tall and they were anything but. The pants were also very thin. I completed a return request. Took the items to *** and mailed them off all in December 2024. It is now January 24, 2025 and I still have not received my refund. I confirmed with *** that the items were received by New York and Company. Ive emailed New York and Company multiple times. Theyve stopped responding. They dont have a phone number for you to get help. Its a complete scam. They stole almost $100 from me. Its absolutely appalling that they would steal from their customersInitial Complaint

I purchased 10 pairs of pants on 12/20/2024 for ******. When the pants arrived, the plastic wrap stated the correct size, but the item inside was incorrect for 6 pairs of pants. I have tried calling them, they either hang up or the one time I was able to leave a message, the call was not returned. I have also tried emailing them with zero response. The sizing is different from the chart also, from what the stores used to sell and be a better quality in the past. There is no return label because all sales are stated final and there is no one contacting me back. Im hoping this complaint will prevent someone else from not getting scammed as well.Customer Answer

I have a $100 gift card from NY & Company. I called to verify the money was still on the gift card and it was. I tried to order and use the gift card online and it would not work. I emailed them several times and they answered the first few saying they apologize and would fix the issue. Now they are no longer responding. They owe me a new card that actually works or refund the money!Customer Answer

I placed an order on the New York and Company Website on 12/28/2024 for $44.95. I ordered 2 pairs of legging ( medium petite and Large petite). I received the wrong size ( medium tall) and the other pair came without a tag. The return label on the order slip was also peeled off. I immediately emailed them with the order number, explaining the situation and I attached photos. I received an automated response asking for details about the order and to send photos. Since then I have emailed about 10 times and called the customer service line, leaving several messages with no response. I started to look into the company ( which used to be a reputable one) and there were hundreds of complaints similar to mine. I am beyond frustrated and not only do I want a full refund but I think something should be done about this. This isnt a random, unheard of online website. This was a well known company and store that everyone in ******** used frequent. Most have the stores have shut down since Covid but I had no reason to believe that customer service was non existent and that this was happening all the time. I would really appreciate if you would take this matter seriously, look into the Company and provide me with a full refund. I look forward to hearing from you. *******Initial Complaint

I ordered a lot of items including pants and sweaters etc. Order # ********* I did not receive one item from my order, what I did receive was a bodycon dress that wasnt even ordered. I contacted New York and company for a refund and they are playing games over and over again asking for pictures that have been sent multiple times. Taking days to respond. I just want my money back. I spent over 100 dollars and received nothing. I contacted the credit card company as well as emailing the company the minute I got home and opened the package. The package is about 6 1/2 by 4 1/2 and they seem to think that 10 items fit in that. The picture is what I received. Which is not even any item I ordered.Customer Answer

They keep stalling on giving a refund, asked me to return the dress that i did receive however, its been delivered over a week ago and they still refuse to acknowldge it was delivered saying they need to look into it, which is all they ever say. The New york and company credit card also is of no help, so i do not think i will ever get a refund.

They asked me to return the dress i received(that i never ordered), which i did and was delivered to them back on Jan 30th but i have yet to receive my refund for the stuff i did order and did not receive. I also tried reaching out to the NY & CO Credit card which is held by ************** and it seems that they are also in my personal opinion also aligning themselves with NY & ** even tho i sent proof and everything. SO neither the ** or the Store are refunding my money. They are both in my opiinion scamming people.

I ordered 4 pairs of size Petite Large yoga pants and my NY&Co credit card was charged on 12/15/24. I was sent size Tall Large. I have been trying to get a refund or exchange for weeks. I have sent them the ridiculous amount of photos they have requested to prove they sent me the wrong product and was told I would have a response within 48 hrs. It's been over 2 weeks and they have stopped responding to email. There is no way to contact them any other way than by email and the credit card company refuses to dispute the charge because they say they don't have that option with NY&Co and I keep being told I have to email them. THEY DON'T RESPOND. It is theft when you charge someone for something and don't deliver on the promised product or service.Customer Answer

I ordered a grey studded women's button down shirt - size medium - on December 9th. I received a yellow tank top - size large. I have reached out to the customer email address from their website SEVERAL times. I have included photos of the receipt, the item itself and the packaging it arrived in. The receipt in the package arrived with the return label REMOVED. The package itself was completely intact and unopened when I received it. Each email returned to me says my dilemma gets elevated and they will get back to me in ***** hours. Not once has this happened. I am the one that has to keep reaching out to them only to receive their same response. I have asked numerous times how I can return what was sent to me and receive a full refund.
