      I'm really disappointed with my RTR experience. I got roped in with a promo that misled me into thinking it was $99 for two months (it's worded very trickily) and they charged me for every month. When I spoke to a customer service rep, they refused to refund me the second month even though I hadn't used it. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I feel kinda scammed. Wish it could have gone differently. I'll no longer be promoting this company.

      I have made multiple attempts to submit honest reviews on the rent the runway website about items I have rented. I gave a high five star review for one item i rented, and this was published on their site within hours. Any other review I have submitted, that provides honest information about the poor quality of the clothing, has been filtered and not published. They do not want potential customers to know that the clothes they ship are over worn, discolored, stretched out, etc. I have seen each of these issues on the items I received.

      Looked for a dress that showed as being in stock. Then you can add it to your cart, but you cannot buy until you pay for a membership. As soon as they charge you for a membership, then the most dresses in all sizes on the website are suddenly out of stock. Good thing I have ******** ******** I'm putting a stop to the charge, and will block all future charges. This company is desperate, unethical and they are straight up thieves!

      The idea is great conceptually but I have had so many problems with the service over the years. The latest issue is that RTR’s system is not syncing with UPS and updating tracking information. I returned items to UPS but RTR keeps notifying me that I never shipped my returns. I contacted customer service and was very rudely told that my items have arrived but I used an old tracking label. The customer service representative then abruptly ended the chat. ***** ** I have been a customer for over 10 years and this is my last straw.

      I have been a client since the beginning. The last 4 months have been absolutely terrible. I have tried to get the situation rectified and supervisors are not around. I have spent at least 30 mins with every order, its terrible. They have sent me the same dress twice without the slip. Each time saying the previous renter didnt return it. They still counted it as my unit. When I asked how I am supposed to wear a see through dress to work.. they said I had chosen the dress. In addition at least one -2 items a shipment are damaged that I receive. I have tried to get my money back to no avail. Again- supervisors avoid problems and people. It never used to be this way.. but I have been severely ripped off.

      I have a monthly membership for renting 4 items at a time, and allowing 2 shipments of items per month. I had a rented item in my possession that I wanted to purchase and use a birthday code against. I was told that I was unable to apply the coupon so I had to purchase a separate item of the same size and style in order to use the code. I could then return the one I currently had through the normal rental return process. So I purchased the $35 dollar dress and applied a $10 off coupon and the total with tax came to $33.23. A week after I purchased the new item using the code, I was notified through a SPAM TEST EMAIL Address that my refund could not be processed. I reached out to the Chat customer service again to follow up requesting the item be reshipped since I did not receive a package with the item or a refund. Instead, I was issued a refund that will process in 3-5 business days and told I could no longer purchase the item at that price but would have to reorder at its current price of $77. My birthday code was reactivated since it had since expired and it could be used against my new purchase. It is very convenient to lose an item through shipment and then require the person to purchase it again at a higher price rather than honor the original shipment. Its too soon to tell if my refund will be honored.

      AWFUL Service!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! The company does not care!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Got charged for not getting anything! The company makes excuses for not getting your dress picked out on time, and you have no choice but to pick your 2nd or 3rd tier choices.

      This is the sneakiest company. They have been charging my credit card for 9 months for a membership I didn't even know I had. I canceled it months ago and they are telling me it was just paused for a month and then resumed. I just tried canceling the membership a second time and received no confirmation of the cancelation in my email, but 10 minutes later received an email that they are "glad I am sticking around!", which means they RE-ENROLLED ME WITHOUT MY CONSENT AGAIN! This company is a total scam.

      Clicked on an advertisement for a bag that claimed it was available to purchase, not rent, as a pre owned item. The listing came up, it has the option to add to bag, but when I went to checkout it came up and said "reservation could not be completed at this time, please try again later." **************** claims it's no longer available, yet no matter how many times I refresh the listing, the add to bag option is still there. It's bait and switch. They're using these items to get people to sign up for the membership with no ability to purchase the advertised items and their excuse is that "closets are currently rotating! Upgrade your membership to see more options!" Bad business.

      Cancelled membership in May but was charged until August. They stated because I did not verify account
