      It feels like ages since I scheduled my payment. It sat in pending for days. I reached out. The chat girl said "it's being verified". They sent an email asking for docs. I attached the doc back. That's it. Silence. Crickets Meanwhile my business is hurting. There is no way you can attach a doc on the website. **************** is unresponsive. They leisurely start work at 9am EST. Unbelievably frustrating. One star. Would not recommend.

      They are starting to charge fees for both recipients and payees using their service, so I have asked them to close down my payment page so that I do not get business payments with their fee deducted. They have refused to comply with my request despite my asking countless times over chat and support email over several weeks. Clearly their plan is to keep my page up so that they can deduct those fees despite my complete lack of consent to their whole new scheme. Their site has no option to close the account, including once they quietly put up a statement informing clients of this new hidden fee. Horrible, dishonest, corrupt business. I hope the BBB helps them become accountable.

      Will not use again. Created account on 10/03/24, issued 2 invoices same day and they were paid same day with a note stating funds would be received by me on 10/08/24. On 10/08/24 I receive an email stating more information is needed from me by the onboarding team. I immediately reply with that information. I get on chat later to request an update on when funds will be released only to be told that more information was requested by the *****. Funny, I process the accounting for one of the payors and did not receive anything to that email requesting more information. I reach out to my other vendor and they also had not received a request for more information. Funds have not been removed from the payors accounts either but support won't cancel the transactions.

      I would rather give no stars. I have been a customer as a small business owner getting payments on time for schedule days have never been a problem until now. No phone to call for support. Payment was suppose to be processed on October 3rd 2024 and now its the 7th still no deposit from the same vendor for the pass 2 years. Now i get a Message - "Our team will contact you via email to finish verifying your details. Until then, any scheduled payments will be on hold" There is nothing to verify everything is the same and has not changed in 2 years. I will be taking my Business to Square ! as a small business we rely on our money and the vendor scheduled paying on a date ahead of time. Now Melio is delaying me with no responds to chat or email, and the phone number is an automatic waste of time with no help.

      **************** is not helpful and not able to resolve anything. Long pauses between replies but if you don't reply right away they close the chat. Really slows us down as a business.

      Melio's customer service is horrible. There is no phone number you can ever call. The chat is a joke. They keep you waiting for 30mins before anyone is available to talk to. After waiting, the rep takes 5 minutes in-between every reply and eventually just tells you that they can't do anything helpful for you and can only escalate the issue. They then tell you to look for an email within 24 hours and then they close the chat, ending the communication channel and preventing you from sending any follow up messages. This should be illegal and you should AVOID USING MELIO.

      I am a small business owner and depend on my cash flow to keep things running. Unknowingly, my client chose to use Melio to send me an ACH payment for the work I performed, saying you should receive payment by the next day. Melio then takes my money hostage, because I don't have an account with them, and sends me an coercive email saying, we'll release your money in 7 days or you can pay a fee, and we'll release it right now. Does this sound like a business that is providing a service? I seriously could have received a check and cashed it quicker than this scam. These types of business practices should be illegal. How are these companies allowed to operate when their execs are protected by a virtual/AI customer service wall, so you can't even confront a real person. I still do not have my money because these guys don't care about us having to pay workers, and put food on the table, right. These types of businesses are the classic example of predatory practices, like leeches, they attach themselves to our hard earn money while deluding themselves into thinking that they are providing the host with a service. However, in this relationship, there are no benefits to the host consumer just the financial parasite. Wish I could give them negative stars.

      Im a small business owner and I depend on cash flow when my client sends me Funds via *** I expect them at the very least within one to two days Which my bank does for free. The fact that they are now holding my incoming money for seven days and because I dont have an account with them the only way theyll release it earlier is if I pay a fee is simply just coercive tactic's not to mention unethical. What is it with these types of business that have deluded themselves into thinking that they are actually providing a service. Seriously, what are they contributing to our society, nothing, just drawing on our hard earned money like Leeches. I literally couldve gotten a check from my client and cashed it more quickly.

      Melio is about to lose my business permanently. After years of sending payments to the same vendors, they are suddenly flagged for compliance issues. I get an email they can't be processed followed by another email that the fees have been charged anyway. There is no response to chat or emails for support during business hours. I'm going to have to scramble around to pay these bills another way so they aren't late.

      Melio has the absolute worst customer service of any company I've experienced. I will be looking for alternatives.

      I worked a one day gig for Playbook Sports, they sent me a payment link from Melio on Wednesday, in which I put my payment info in. On Thursday morning Melio emailed me asking if Id like to expedite my payment for a 1% and it would be delivered by Thursday 8pm PST. They have a tracker which says that my payment was completed, and in fact was not. They charged me a fee and did not deliver on what they charged me. Its currently Saturday and I still dont have the money in my account. You need an acc count to speak with the help desk and they only give accounts to businesses. If youre a company that values your clients and employees time, do not use Melio.
