This company called me out of the blue, saying that I had applied for membership. I had not. However after having a conversation with the woman on the phone the opportunity to join the company and increase professional visibility sounded good. She charged me $249 for a lifetime membership. I received a user name and password but was unable to ever access the website to log in. When I emailed them, they stated that it was user error and they were able to log in. Yesterday they called me to encourage me to complete my PR profile/bio. How they were doing a press release. At the end of the conversation I was told that there would be a charge for the press release that I had agreed to when I enrolled as a member. This is untrue. I specifically told the *** on the phone yesterday that I did not give them permission to charge any further charges. My concern is now they have my credit card info! I want my account deleted and my credit card info deleted. Im very concerned about this company scamming many women. Please stop this company!Business Response

Hello *** ******* I am sorry to hear about your concerns. The Press Release is a separate marketing and advertising service that we offer our members which is not included as part of the initial membership. Our team cancelled the payment for the Press Release so you were not billed. Furthermore, you disputed your membership purchase with your card issuing bank and they issued you a refund. Your account has been closed on our end. Please let us know if there's anything else you need.Initial Complaint

I completed an application with the Worldwide Womens Association but clearly stated that I was not authorizing any charges at that time. After reviewing more information and reading extensive negative reviews describing how the company has been scamming women and charging them without consent, I informed them that I did not want to move forward.Despite this, they began charging my credit card without my authorization, and have continued doing so repeatedly over the course of several years. I never signed a membership agreement. I never gave permission for any payment. These charges were made against my express instructions. The total taken from my account is well over $1,000, and I am currently working with my credit card company to identify how far back this activity goes. This is not a misunderstanding, this is a pattern of unauthorized, predatory billing. It is deeply unethical and, in my view, fraudulent.I am requesting:1.A full refund of all unauthorized charges 2.A written confirmation that I was never enrolled or authorized as a member 3.Immediate termination of any use of my personal or financial information If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate to the Attorney General, ************************, and ************************************ for formal investigation.Business Response

Same as everyone filing complaint as this organization is scam. First, I was charge on April for lifetime membership, $299.00 but if I use Master Card, They run a promotion discount rate of $249.00. Don't fall into trap like me. On May 20, Received a call from **** and I have to pay for Press Release Purchase of $449.99 which I clearly advised that I am not interested and don't want to proceed. he hung up the phone .5/30 They charged my credit card $449.99 WITHOUT my authorization, permission or an approval . No email, no receipt, Nothing. I have closed my credit card and report the transaction fraud.again, Don't fall into trap like me. COMPLETE SCAMBusiness Response

On May 21, 2025 the Worldwide Women's Association charged my account $399.99. This charge was not authorized or disclosed. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this organization has attempted to take unauthorized funds from my account. I did not do my proper homework and signed up to be a member with this association only to learn that they essentially scam women out of money. After several suspicious, undisclosed charges to my account in 2023. When I reached out they said the charges were final payments for my membership subscription. I requested they cancel my membership. Fortunately, my bank reversed the suspicious charges. Then on May 21, 2025 they again charged my account alleging it was for final membership payment. This organization is a scam.Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:While I'm glad that my bank refunded the money (a result of me disputing the charges and not a result of actions taken by WWA) the association has not addressed all my concerns. This is not the first time I've had to take such measures to dispute and resolve the issue of them making unauthorized charges to my account. I've requested that an official letter be sent detailing that my information has been scrubbed from their system and no further transactions will be charged to me. This is important because this is the second time they have made unauthorized charges to my account and both times they alleged it was a "final payment". Once the official letter is sent, the situation will be resolved.
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

I paid $300 on April 9th for a lifetime membership to this organization that is supposed to lift up women and provide professional services and networking. I now have three pending charges to my account for $450, $229, and $250. None of these were previously approved, I received no notification, and have no idea why.Business Response

I was contacted to join this professional organization to help grow our business and was sold a one time 'lifetime membership' in Sept 2024 for $249. However, they have begun recurring charges monthly, increasing incrementally. Oct 2024, $299 - Nov 2024 $449.95 (then a refund in Jan for $449.95) it began again in Feb 25 with a charge for $459.95 and most recently just this month for $479.99.Please help.Business Response

I began receiving phone calls from the Worldwidw Womens Association on 5/5/2025 and spoke with a ***resentative. They informed me that I had filled out an interest form at some point about getting on their registry. I had no recollection of submitting such a form and they were unable to tell me when/where I had submitted. They wanted to interview me and I said I would prefer to follow up via email. They were unable to do so, so I said I was not interested in proceeding. I then proceeded to get multiple calls over the next 24 hours from multiple phone numbers from them and eventually spoke with another ***resentative who I asked to remove me from their call list. The *** spoke over me and accused me of yelling, which I in no way was. The *** threatened to leave me on the list if I didn't let them speak, so I did, and she eventually said she would remove me from the list. The interaction was threatening and abrasive and I am glad I never took steps to proceed with their offer, whatever it may have been. Unpleasant to say the least.Business Response
