I was involved in a car accident on July 06, 2022. On my insurance policy I have 2 vehicles listed. The vehicle involved in the accident was totaled (Range Rover) I was contemplating finding new car insurance for my Dodge Challenger since my current insurance is going to increase. When I called to get quotes from various carriers they informed me that they cannot provide coverage on the Dodge because Lexisnexis is reporting that both my vehicles have a salvaged title only one vehicle was in the accident! I called Lexisnexis several times yesterday and today to dispute information. Each time they give me the excuse that they are doing a system update so they cant access my files, but you are allowing companies to access consumer files that have incorrect information. One rep finally admitted he is getting a system error not an update. He said he is going to refer issue to technical team but there is no turn around time and no direct contact. My finance company is calling me asking is this vehicle totaled or not! They do not believe me!Business Response

I requested a callback from a Supervisor on Tuesday, July 12, ********************************* I called Lexisnexis today and they tried to tell me the same lie that their systems are updating and they are still unable to provide me access to my reports. I requested another callback from a Supervisor. Hopefully, I get a call this time

company keeps reporting fraudulent wrong information it is mixing me up with another *************************. i have contacted them 3 times and they have "deleted" other ******** records from my account twice but it keeps happening and here i am fighting wasting time loosing money and having issues because they cannot keep people straight in their systems. i emailed an attorney just seconds before filing this complaint and will be waiting for them to contact me about this issue. i can no longer access my thrift saving or my 401K because when it tries to verify my identity it asks me questions i cannot answer about this other ******. these companies need to be held accountable for the problems they cause with the power they wield.Business Response

June 21st 2022, I sent a letter to the courthouse asking do the report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus and I got a letter stating They do not report any bankruptcies to anybody. So if thats the case. How did the credit bureaus verify my bankruptcy as 100% Accurate. They never did a fair investigation according to the 15 USC ****. 15 USC **** section 603 (3)(E) States; The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer.They also violated my rights numerous times.The credit bureaus violated my given rights under 15 USC ****. According to: 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy.According to: 15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions According to: 15 U.S.C. ****s-2 (A)(1) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.Business Response

I filed a dispute with Lexis Nexis in reference to errors in my Clue Report. I sent in copious records supporting my claim yet Lexis Nexis continues to confirm the errors in my Clue Report. I am a victim of identity theft and I shared documentation supporting my dispute yet Lexis Nexis continues to defend the actions of the insurance companies.The insurance company investigated and determined that I was correct yet Lexis Nexis disregarded those findings. I am at a loss for word. I was victimized. Allstate insurance removed the insurance information from inception of the policy based on fraudulent information. A supervisor at ********************* stated that she did not understand how the policy was issued based on the information that she saw. She stated that the policy was issued at a stand alone business that sold insurance through Progressive. She stated the policy was not issued from the Progressive call Center. The Allstate agent stated that he was going to make contact with Lexis Nexis on my behalf and request the information removed from my Clue Report. The situation involves vehicles I never owned, incorrect address and incorrect marital status and employment status. I suffer with mild dementia. I am a retired teacher and veteran- Army retired. I have spent a few years trying to get a handle on this situation and Lexis Nexis is being unfair by their actions. They will not remove the above mentioned errors from my Clue report.Business Response

This is to formally file a grievance against LexisNexis situated in *******, **. This organization has continually disregarded my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act which caused me unwarranted financial and mental dilemmas. They have been reporting a Bankruptcy which is a faulty & unverifiable account on my credit document I've requested evidence of the claim that they have not been able to furnish. Furthermore, the Bankruptcy Court states they don't report to any of the credit bureaus. So how exactly did they verify this account? Regardless of my several attempts to resolve the matter, LexisNexis has entirely ignored my legal submissions to delete this erroneous information from my credit information. I am completely aware of the many complaints submitted towards this company for their illegal and fraudulent business. This company's conduct has caused me lots of extreme harm, especially to my capacity to build credit & good interest rates. Please help me to put an end to the operations of these unethical & immoral business tactics immediately. May 19, 2022 I completed an online form on lexisnexis website requesting a copy of my Risks Solutions Consumer Disclosure documents and almost 2 weeks later I received 4 copies of a vague rejection letter in the mail stating they were unable to verify my identity. Knowing all the information I sent them was accurate (recently verified by same ID.me system they use), I contacted support via email on June 4, 2022. They said I needed to fill out the same form I had already submitted 4 times at this point. I filled it out like they said and again didn't receive documents. I have now sent customer support requests for clarification or a solution 6 times now with no response. I am legally entitled to this information, and I have waited weeks for my file to be sent to me. All I want is a REAL RESPONSE with a SOLUTION and to actually hold in my hands a PHYSICAL COPY of my RISKS SOLUTIONS CONSUMER DISCLOSURE REPORT as soon as possible. At the very least an actual written issue they want me to fix or verify so it can actually get done.Business Response
