Trash. They Own Vital Check who charged me 60 dollars for a birth certificate and then told me it takes 20 business days to process . Complete scam.

Requested my consumer Consumer Disclosure Report. They sent me instructions in a letter so I could access my information pursuant to Section 609 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 u.s.c ****g) the *** and PIN were incorrect.

ZERO STARS! LexisNexis calls themselves a ************************* but what they really do is data mine your PRIVATE and PERSONAL information. They do not advocate for consumers. They say they advocate by making sure our historical reports are accurate but as you can see from the nary positive review, that is not the case. They are a 3rd party company utilized by insurance comapanies to drive up premiums by selling our information. I never once agreed to, signed up for, opted in anything with LexisNexis, so why are they selling my information for profit?! That's a Privacy Rights violation. They've been in business 54 years...I think it's time for a Class Action lawsuit. Clearly they are a scam company that provides no useful service to consumers. Consumer fraud is a big thing and they have had multiple data breaches exposing our data. However, because we never signed up for an account they didn't have to disclose it. So much for being a *************************. I asked them if they could provide how they save consumers money and they couldn't. They put in you into Pre-recorded H*** where you push buttons in circles. If you can manage to get someone on the line, they can't help you. They don't provide easy contact info and no easy path to getting the reports accurate that the consumer just ends up giving up. BIG INSURANCE wins again. Insurance already is the 2nd biggest scam to 401k's, I've had 25 years claim-free. I could've saved all those tens of thousands in insurance premiums and paid my way if anything went wrong. I don't need all these 3rd party companies. They are not providing any service to the consumer. Surely there's some attorney out there just as frustrated as we are that would help organize a Class Action lawsuit to make this company put efficient paths in place for consumers to accurate reports or deny LexisNexis from collecting our data against our will altogether. This 'company' isn't accredited for a reason. Because it's a SHAM COMPANY!

This business is a sham. I filed a dispute with them regarding false information contained within my consumer report that they publish. The false info they published led to a 70% increase in the cost of my homeowners insurance and the reluctance of any other carrier to issue a homeowners policy to me. They claim to have reviewed and processed my claim but I cannot access the results of their so called review using the *** and PIN that they supplied in a letter dated December 22, 2023. I made my first on-line inquiry on January 15, 2023 without success. I was not able to pursue an outcome via their consumer center because it was already beyond their posted hours of operation, no one answered my call.My 2nd on-line attempt was made on January 25, **** at 5:15PM, CST. I was again denied access to my "reviewed and processed" claim using the *** and PIN which they supplied. At ******, I then called their consumer center at the number they provided and was placed on hold with a message noting that my call would be answered in the order it was received. Needless to say, my call was never answered. In fact, it was disconnected at 5:58PM, just two minutes before the posted closing time of the consumer center. How can a company such as this be allowed to operate with impunity when the information that they publish is false and financially damaging to the subject of the report? Who makes the decision that allows them to publish false consumer information?

This company is just a scam. Applying auto insurance, and got told I have an at fault accident from 2018, when I'm traveling in Asia and not even physically present in *****************. Tried call their number, which on the other end is just a machine telling to fill out form on their website. Filled out online form, and was told they can't verify my identity with my driver license and address. Of course, because their record is all messed up and full of s**t.

One star is too many. You cant reach a person. Im trying to change an accident reported as at fault when it shouldnt have been. All the insurance company knows to do is give me the LexisNexis phone number. When I call I get nothing but an automated system directing me to get one of various reports or go online to get one of various reports. Theres no clear way to speak to a person or submit a dispute for an incident from two years ago. Youre a business who interacts with the public. TALK TO PEOPLE INSTEAD OF HIDING BEHIND AUTOMATED CRAP!!!

If everyone knew the quality of data provided by LexisNexis the company would not be in business. In my opinion they get zero stars! To protect my family from the ever present risk of identity theft I subscribed to a premium identity theft *********************** company. After signing up and providing all the necessary identity information I was surprised to find out that my information showed that I had owned three houses that I never did own, several vehicles that I never did own, and it did not show me owning my current residence where I have lived for over twenty years! First, I checked with my local taxing authority, and found no errors in their records. Second, I contacted the identity theft company and they informed me that they get or pull their information from LexisNexis and that I needed to contact them. I went to the LexisNexis website and opted to fill out the online form to review and dispute the data that they had on me. After I filled out the online form, I waited several weeks and received a form letter stating that they could not verify my identity via the documents I submitted and suggested that I go to their website and fill out the form on their website. Wait! What!? I never submitted any documents via mail, I already used their website form. I tried again. I went to their website and made sure I submitted everything. Again, several weeks went by and I received the same letter. I tried called the phone number several times and cannot get through to anyone!Considering that LexisNexis processes sensitive personal information on people, their lack of communication, professionalism, accuracy, and especially customer service is appalling. I feel like I an trying to communicate with a clandestine government organization as opposed to a data information company. My advice, for now, is to put pressure on the companies that are doing business with LexisNexis to try to force a change. Maybe then they will pay attention to consumers.

Lexis Nexis *************** gets ZERO stars. Lexis Nexis refuses to send copies of reports to the person the report is about. After a claim was settled for homeowners insurance, the insurance refused to renew based solely on a report from Lexis Nexis. The insurance company refused to send a copy of the report they received from Lexis Nexis. I called Lexis Nexis requesting a copy of that report. They took enough information from me to fraud me in every way possible - and still NO response, NO report, NOTHING from Lexis Nexis. After a claim was settled for auto insurance the same thing happened. ************** was denied renewal based solely on a report from Lexis Nexis. Again, the insurance company refused to give a copy of the report. Again, I contacted (called and email) Lexis Nexis requesting a copy of both reports. Again, they had to verify my information. And AGAIN, no response, no reports, NOTHING from Lexis Nexis.I filed a complaint with BBB against Lexis Nexis as I really want to see what is in their reports. BBB said Lexis Nexis responded to me by email and closed the case. Again, no response by email, letter, phone call or text from Lexis Nexis. They lied to BBB.Lexis Nexis is obviously a fraudulent entity. They have no oversight, no checks or balances. They send out information to companies on customers and ruin lives without any requirement to prove their information or even give copies of their reports to the customers. The customers should be given the opportunity to refute, disprove, and deny wrong/incorrect information in Lexis Nexis files - just like the credit bureaus. What happed to the Fair Credit Reporting Act? The Government should really look into Lexis Nexis - their practices are just plain WRONG.

This company does not give the correct status of who was at fault for the accident. They take the accident and make it look like the person who was not at fault by the police report is the high risk person and they refuse to file a freeze of the false information. I gave them my correct mailing address where I get my mail which is a *** post office box because my home address they steal the mail from the box. The mailing address is legitimate its authorized by the ************* post office but this company wants to put false information on someones records without full disclosure. They should be responsible for sending out information that will try to blacklist someone from getting lower auto insurance especially when the police report and even the information from the insurance company tells them its incorrect. The had to file with the attorney generals office and the better business bureau to expose them for what they are doing.
