LexisNexis Risk Solutions Accused of Systemic Fraud in Insurance Industry LexisNexis Risk Solutions is embroiled in allegations of systemic fraud, where it has self-appointed itself as the arbiter of driver risk. Insurance companies, seeking to maximize profits legally, utilize LexisNexis's services to evaluate consumers and elevate their risk ratings. This, in turn, allows insurance companies to increase premiums under the pretense of poor driver records. The ********** of ***** Vehicles (DMV) also plays a role in this scheme, as their notifications are fed into LexisNexis's fraudulent system. Furthermore, LexisNexis's parent company, RELX, trades on the *********************, raising questions about the oversight of this alleged scam.Despite the requirement for insurance companies to employ actuarial science in determining insurance rates, they continue to engage in these practices out of greed. The insurance industry, along with the DMVs, their affiliated personnel, and even patrol officers, are all implicated in this scheme.DMV fines are treated as off-budget revenue, allowing their use for political campaigns, perks for ticket issuers, and other self-serving purposes. Insurance companies benefit from increased profits, while LexisNexis generates revenue. However, the ultimate victims are the consumers who are subjected to inflated insurance premiums based on inaccurate risk assessments. The lack of supervision from our elected officials is concerning, as systemic scams like this one continue to harm the public.

Absolutely awful! Trying to get insurance and was told I had 2 paid out claims.... I have NO knowledge of these claims and 1 was while I didn't even have insurance. ***************** stated I would've been contacted and to contact LexisNexis.... however their system is completely automated and awful. I've gone on their site multiple times as well as called multiple times and there is always an issue where I can't complete my request. The options are also limited and not even what I want to accomplish. On top of that they don't offer and email or fax option and will only mail you info.... This is by far the worst customer experience I've ever had and its causes so many issues for me to get insurance while being fraudulent claims.... looks at the BBB complaint help me understand that I'm not alone and that LexisNexis as a terrible company and negatively impacts humanity. In my opinion the Government should audit them and shut this company down.

Lexis Nexis is One of the worst companies in this world. They collect any type of information to be used against humanity just to make money. The company don't check accuracy of the information, even change the names on the originally posted data. Lexis Nexis is in violation of "Fair Credit Reporting Act" by selling inaccurate information to companies like car insurance, financial institutions, health care and so on. Inaccurate data being used such companies, for example, State Farm car insurance buys and uses this to determine the insurance rates for customers based on INACCURATE info. When customer disagrees, they remind you to contact Lexi Nexis reporting co. There is nobody at that number, request a copy, try to file a dispute and you're in the hands of GOD. In the mean time, their office located in ************* , ** occupied with employees day and night. I'm sure Co. is aware of this but business is usual, continue selling inaccurate information give them a great pleasure because Nexis Lexis makes all companies happy by providing A-Z data so others use to make MORE money...Public have no clue who this company and what they do. People dig into it see your future. What you will see is NOT a bright future. Information contains basically all your past, back to early ages when you first rented an apartment, got first car loan and so on. Never resets itself, ALL stays on record. This is a crime against humanity, American public, citizens.

This is a 3rd party collection of credit information that is false. It has originated from the not-so-great *******************. It is hurting consumers everywhere. We are being denied things on our past credit even when we get our credit scores over 600. How is this not a violation to the fair credit act. I just want to thank everyone one of you for causing me to not buy a home. I know I cannot change these things that are unjust. Facing homelessness another time will be 16 times in 6 years. I will always overcome. As an Army veteran being run over by a drunk driver and then punished. The Army then punished me because I was not able to perform. This was not my fault. I did not drink and drive. I was a pedestrian. I was a lower rank then the one who was drinking and run me over with their car. I have to live with this unjust till I die. I know it does not matter to anyone, but I pray to make a difference.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I received a notification on my phone that my auto insurance had renewed so I went to go check what my new premium would be. It increased by over $500 for 6 months (are you kidding me!) I called my auto insurance company and asked them where they got this information from and they told me I had to contact NexisLexis. I was finally able to get ***** of someone who told me they would sent the report to my address. I received the report and somehow there were "points" added to my license. My auto insurance company advised me to get a *** from the *** which I did and there was nothing on my report stating I received points for speeding and also failure to yield! I have not received a ticket or had any occurrences since early 2021 and that was for an accident that was not my fault, a tractor trailer side swiped my vehicle and I had to use uninsured motorist because for some odd reason they were not able to locate the driver with the license plate I gave him. It even says on the LexisNexis report that it wasn't officially pulled from my record if it's not an official document from the *** they should not be allowed to use this company unless they are provided a copy of the *** from the ***. I am currently in the process of trying to get this straightened out because there is no way I will be paying for something I didn't even do! Honestly if they're going to pull "reports" they should make sure its legitimate before sending it to my auto insurance. No one can tell me to this day where those tickets came from. Thank goodness my auto insurance company accepted the *** otherwise I would have had to find another insurance company.

The woman who I spoke with on the phone was condescending and rude. She implied that I was lying about my insurance company saying the driver I added was "at fault". She wasn't helpful and was quite nasty. Also waited for over 10 minutes just to reach a representative who was rude. Now have to wait another week to two weeks for my report. Can't email it?! Absurd

Worst company I have ever dealt with. They threaten my credit with my insurance Company and then when you challenge them they won't even talk to you.I sent them a letter asking for what info they have that my credit was not good and they send me a letter with a case number and tell me to contact them. Try contacting them even with a case number. You get nothing except a list of things to do but none of them work including their phone number which doesn't give you a way to get a live lperson. This company is into your credit rating. They should be put out of business.
