      I began my request to withdraw funds on September 19 2022 and it is now 4 months and two weeks and I do not have my money yet.
      No one answers the phone and if they do after a 30 minutes wait they disconnected. I am beyond frustrated and don't know what else to do.

      Is this company actually a viable company? I requested a *** in November for 2022. Cancelled the *** mid Dec 2022. Received *** even after the cancellation mid Jan 2023 (wrong year for taxes)!! Requested a rollover mid December after the company was non-responsive. They said check was in the mail, ***** no tracking. Of course check never arrived. Trying now to void check to cut new check and send by Fed EX or **** They will not do Electronic Transfer! Of course my account now shows $0 but the ***** is ????? Every call is at least 2 hour wait time and then I am transfered to another group. The local M of A office is a ghost office with one administrator who doesn't answer the phone. I travelled there and knocked on the door to get entry. She said that since the new CEO, everything is decentralized and the employees all work at home (if they actually work). I would never recommend this company to anyone. I would steer clear!. I hope I see my IRA ***** some day!!!!! I've now missed a month of trading and interest and don't know how much longer this will go on.

      Same as everyone else on here...trying to get my funds rolled over to my new employer. Initiated rollover with MoA on 10/11/22. After a month of it not getting to my new provider, I called. The number on my confirmation form from MoA takes you to a ******* account that does not answer and hangs up after ringing (***)-***-****. I look online and get a real number, call, and after 2+ hours of waiting someone picks up. Tells me they had the wrong plan number for my new provider. Gave them the right one (again). It's now February 6th and my new provider has STILL not recieved anything. I'm currently on phone with them to find out what the ransom is to get my money released safe and sound...I'm at 2 hours and 25 minutes and still listening to the same three Muzak tracks....

      I've been on hold for over two and one-half hours now with jazzy elevator music playing in the background. Of course the jazzy music just makes my blood pressure go higher. I've been transferred three times. I'm now waiting for IT because I can't get into my account. I've gotten the usual "thank you for your patience. We're experiencing longer than normal wait times" so many times that I'm going to have nightmares for days over it.This is not the first time this company has put me on indefinite hold. The last time, when I tried to get a distribution from my 401K, I lost a good deal on a major, time-sensitive purchase because it took many telephone calls and weeks to get the distribution.This company DOES NOT care about you, and it DOES NOT have anything that resembles customer service.I DO NOT recommend this **********************. RUN!HOW CAN A COMPANY WITH THIS MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND SUCH SUBSTANDARD SERVICE STAY IN BUSINESS AND/OR NOT BE INVESTIGATED AND STILL BE RATED A+ BY THE BBB?

      You can not get help with Mutual of America by calling or going thru Employer.It has been 4 months since representative said he would send me forms and 8 months since receiving a statement from them.Got in touch today which is Feb. 3, 2023 and rep said I should receive forms toward end of month, they were overloaded with deaths.What an excuse!!!Very dissatisfied person with their 401k reps.

      Just what everyone else is saying. Been trying to move my money out of Mutual of America for 8 weeks. The paperwork has been sent to them 3 times. They have an excuse every time I call why they cant do it! And every time I call I am transferred multiple times and each time Im transferred it extends the wait time. It is not uncommon to be on hold for 3-4 hours!

      Similar to others, I've been trying to rollover a 403b from a previous employer for over 6 months. Each time I've called I've been on hold for over an hour -- at one point I was told that the request was processed -- only to receive an email stating otherwise with two very vague reasons. When I called, the customer service agent said she did not know why it was denied and could not help me. She attempted to transfer me to another department to help but I was on hold for an additional hour.

      Unprofessional, no way to get a person on the phone; which is the number one reason for withdrawing my money. The staff should be back in the office to they are supervised and not playing on their phones! Minus star

      It took a 2 weeks for them to send me withdrawal paperwork. Each time I had to wait an hour or more on hold to speak with someone. Then it took a month for them to review my paper work . Which then claim they didnt receive the first time . So I had to wait on hold for another hour from them to process it , over the phone again. Now a month later I have not received my funds and still waiting . Meanwhile I got a email a month ago stating, that my funds would be deposited in 48 hours or 5-7 business days. This company is a fraud and disturbing.
